Lovely place, staff very friendly. Excellent facilities. Very enjoyable experience.

Nice looking place upon arrival, nice bar area and restaurant area with friendly welcoming staff. Restaurant staff were particularly helpful and accommodating. I only used the sauna from the spa facilities but the pool area looked nice. The rest of the place needs some serious investment. Rooms were extremely dated and dusty. Toilet was not secured to the wall or floor. Doors are pretty damaged and my bathroom door scraped the floor when using it. Carpet was full of stains and the felt like it had been down over 40 years. Looks like maintenance has been lacking for some years. Wagyu burger was really nice and so was the chocolate brownie. restaurant and bar area and staff were great!👌 Could be nice with some serious investment.

Really enjoyed the wedding yesterday..nice venue but the staff were amazing always checking to see if everything was ok & very polite and friendly. Also nice to see the owner being there and talking to guests..nice touch!!

Had a spa afternoon. Use of pool , steam room etc...Had facial and back massage

Spa facilities are very good. Spa staff always courteous, helpful and very professional.

A great little hotel just off the M62, staff helpful and food was great.

Birthday Spa Celebration - Jan 2024 For a special birthday celebration, we opted for a spa day, including a massage treatment that promised relaxation and indulgence. The facilities themselves were impeccable, setting the scene for a day of tranquility. However, it was the staff that truly made our visit remarkable. From the moment we stepped in, the warmth, professionalism, and cheerfulness of the team were evident. Each person we encountered was not only highly skilled but exuded a friendly and welcoming demeanor that greatly enhanced our experience. Their expertise in delivering top-tier massage treatments was matched by their genuine kindness. Despite an unexpected noise disruption during our session, the manner in which the staff, led by the proactive manager, handled the situation was remarkable. Before we even raised our concerns, the manager approached us with a heartfelt apology and a generous gesture to waive the cost of our food. This level of attentiveness and empathy from the management and staff alike spoke volumes about their commitment to guest satisfaction. The affordability of the spa services was a pleasant surprise, especially given the outstanding level of care and attention we received. This spa has set a new benchmark for us in terms of what to expect for customer service. We went for a spa weekend and overnight stay which was all in all a fantastic experience. We arrived at the venue at 11am and we were told our room was ready which was great so we went and got changed and put on our robes that were provided and headed to the spa. We used the outdoor hot tub, pool,sauna and steam rooms and they were in great condition and not too busy. As it reached 2pm we headed for our respective treatments of which I had a massage that was really good and I felt so relaxed after we finished. We then had a mud chamber which was a great experience and left my skin feeling brand new. After that finished we went to the room to shower and dress for dinner. The restaurant wasn't over busy and the staff were friendly. My wife had fish and I had carbonara and both were delicious. We went to the room then to settle for the evening the only drawback being the room above and next to us were quite noisy and there were people in the corridors throughout the night. Breakfast in the morning was really good with plenty to choose from and great local produce. A great weekend and we have since booked another for march
