Lovely food as always, and the staff are very friendly and polite.

Ordered Sweet and Sour Mix ....never seen as little meat and prawns or as many carrots . Basically tasteless Spring Rolls hard and greasy ,Pineapple fritter the same ...no golden syrup

Found clingfilm in my chicken fried rice food is tasteless and I feel sick

A full FREE Chinese meal delivered as celebration for the owners Childs birthday... the food was delicious, fantastic takeaway and huge respect for all staff.

Staff were really nice, but what the hell? I ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken, and the chicken was RAW. Chips tasted like they’d been reheated 3 times, the noodles were bland and dry and the sauce was disgusting. Costed me £11 and I couldn’t finish it, made me sick.

Really disappointing!! I've been going to Golden Phoenix for years and I'm not sure if it's under new management or what but it's nothing like it used to be. Curry sauce is thick and stodge like, the fish was not crispy and tasted like it had been sat in oil for days, inedible! And the chips tasted like they'd been reheated and there was no salt and vinegar even though it was requested. 3 meals ordered in the household and not one was nice... it'll be the last time I go here unfortunately

Chicken sweet and sour and chicken sweet corn soup was absolutely vile, would not recommend! First and last time ordering from here. Not fresh food stay away find another Chinese worse I’ve had

I had a takeaway tonight from here it was delicious lovely food and big portions the sweet and sour chicken balls were big and tender I will definitely recommend this place.😁👍

Thing is the lady in the back knows you come into the shop and still leaves you standing there!!! 4 times it’s happened now…it’s a shame it used too be run by a wonderful set of people… stay away if you want advice gone very downhill

Food tasted reheated chicken tasted of.. salt and pepper Chips were soggy overcooked and non of the dishes tasted how they were supposed to honestly stay away we were having a family night with the kids and none of the kids could eat the food it was horrible.

A really good Chinese takeaway. Also thay do food deliveries.

Lovely hot and tasty food, big portions!

We got this Chinese delivered 17.12.22 it took over an hour and a half to get here . we ordered the salt and pepper platter and the food was really bland we also got the special fu young and it was really milky for some reason and again really bland the salt and pepper chips were soggy and had no flavour however the only good part was the soup we ordered hot and sour and chicken and sweetcorn and they were the only thing that didn’t disappoint we got a free can of Pepsi and prawn crackers but still would not recommend

Outstanding!! Brand new to Bury area and already fins one of the best restaurants 🙌 my partner is blown away with the quality, portions and style the way food made. The service is super friendly also, very welcoming and happy to support my local takeaway 😀 wherever your doing, its working lol

One of the best Chinese in Bury! Portion sizes are bigger than most, and it's not as expensive as other places. Would reccomend the ribs with honey, the salt and pepper chicken, chicken in okay sauce and the noodles. They're the best I've had. Ribs are to die for. Speedy delivery, got here in 30mins! Thank you to all the staff that work there :)

Food was more then 30 min late! Nightmare!

Had a take away tonight 15.5.21 food was 40mins late and it was awful. Worse Chinese I've had for years. Food wasn't cooked properly and the quality was poor. Won't be ordering again.

Genuinely really impressed with the quality and flavour , and nothing was greasy or oily.

We eat here at least once a week. Always epic

Really gone rubbish! Has chicken and sweetcorn soup off them and the last 2 times it have a load of mushrooms in and was like water! Time to find a new chinese

I know we are in strange times at the moment with the lockdown etc, but when we ordered a take away they quoted 1 and a half hours for delivery. It's now 2 hours 40 mins and still no sign of any food!!! It's all about setting exoectations. UPDATE: It did turn up eventually, but best part of 3 hours

We used to use this takeaway all the time, perhaps 5 years ago and was always good. Orders starters and main courses tonight and I have to say it was the worst food ever delivered to our house. I know we are in exceptional times, but this has all ended up in the bin and we are now filling up on kettle chips.
