This is an old school pub, friendly with a regularly changing range of beers. A good place to sit and ponder whilst enjoying a good beer.

Friendly pub & staff. The courtyard area pleasant & provides shade, if needed. Miss the beautiful hanging baskets, that used to be a lovely feature. Dogs welcome & well-catered for with water bowls inside & out. Recommend!

The lady that served us the first two drinks was very charming and efficient. Unfortunately she was replaced by a fella with a serious attitude problem that soured the whole place. Everything was about him and not his customers.

The Golden Pheasant is one of the nicest and cosiest pubs in Biggleswade. With lovely staff and great service, i feel very comfortable here. This building has a LOT of history too. This sort of thing is amazing. Their website also has a History page which i find very interesting.

Yeah it's good but a bit unaware of anything they give you they say they spaghetti but don't warn you that even the children's one has little spices in it

went in there once.... a man started playing the fiddle while another played the harmoncia. it was brilliant. brilliant ale and conversation with intelligent adults. damn fine place.
