Chips were hard like they had already been cooked for ages, chicken wings were over cooked or already cooked for ages because the meat was bone dry, chicken curry was watery and had more onions than chicken. What a let down.

So.. where do I begin? Had an order from this restaurant a while back and it wasn't up to scratch as it normally would be, so in this day and age of expensive living we complained to Uber as they are the middle man? No? We received a refund.. tonight we placed an order for 30 pounds worth of food because everyone has off days, we waited and waited.. my daughter called restaurant to be basically told we are banned from ordering from here because we had a refund from Uber? And the "big man" has said not to deliver to us.. speechless..

Had quite a big order from here. I'd say food was OK although the amount of Onions in both of the curries was absolutely ridiculous. The mixed Hors'Oevres were not good, the ribs were small & dry & the tiny spring rolls had next to nothing in them. The 'seaweed' and prawn toast in it were the nicest. The portion of ribs in BBQ sauce were OK, not big but not mega tiny either, just right some might say. The pork curry was lovely as was the egg fried rice. My friend said that the beef curry was lovely. I have to say, I was extremely disappointed with the Satay Chicken on Skewers. The Satay sauce was separate from the Chicken on Skewers which was dry as brick. No bits of peanut in the Satay sauce either.

This was a delivery….Food was inedible so much grease and what looked like snot on the chow mein,the rice was hard and the meat in it was hard and crunchy,chips were rubbery and the sweet-and-sour sauce was nothing but vinegar and smelt like a bottle of vinegar and the prawn balls were undercooked as they were full of raw batter inside

Rice wasn’t authentic, sweet and sour smelt and tasted of vomit (way too much vinegar), the appetisers and chow mein were nice.

I ordered a portion of Singapore fried noodles, chicken skewers with satay sauce and 10 mini vegetable spring rolls. My food was very tasty and the portions were generous. The food was packaged appropriately and arrived with no spillages.

Always welcoming, high expectations, me and my family have been coming here years now. They never disappoint n don't change a thing especially them BBQ spare ribs. Eg in the photo there is bbq spare ribs, chicken fried rice, king prawn chow mein, plain chips, chicken wings

I've been ordering here for a few years now, and even though the food has always been somewhat okish, the food has massively gone down hill the past months. Every order lately has had half raw or stale chips that have clearly been reheated. The ribs aren't nice even with different sauces which also is a let down. The chow mains aren't that good and the one I had last time was quite greesy and the omelette was disgusting. The egg fried rice's have always been lovely though, along with the chicken balls. I've rarely had to call to find out where my food is, but the times I have called, they was always polite and apologetic with an explanation as to why my good was late. Can't fault the customer service. I haven't reviewed until now because I was hoping it was just a bad spell with businesses getting busy, but with both me and my husband ordering over the past few months i think unfortunately I'm going to start ordering somewhere else. I'm now paying for food that I'm just throwing away, it is a shame. I also use a different name on Google than I do on uber eats and just eat, so Golden Palace, please don't do what has others have done in the past, and tell me I haven't ordered from here because you don't have my name on record, because I've explained this.

Had it as a takeaway - absolutely fresh and delicious !! I highly recommend the chow mein and the vegetable spring rolls.

Avoid at all costs... First time trying here and it is absolutely VILE. We've had to chuck the whole food in the bin. How you guys stay in business is a mystery...... Will never be ordering from here again...... feel sick just thinking about it! Worst £23 pound I've spent in my life. Avoid... only put 1 star cause I couldn't give it a zero !!!!!

Ordered chicken and mushroom curry was all onions mushrooms and the tiniest curry sauce plus ordered chilli beef it was just big chunks of meat with a sauce thrown over it that wasn't crispy chilli absolutely disgusting all went in the bin won't order again from here

my food took up to 3 hours to arrive the women who I spoke to on the phone from the restaurant was rude and you are unable to track where your driver is. Overall the service and the wait time is not worth it

Ordered at 6:15, estimated time was 7:00, at 7:20 this updated to 8:25. Called the restaurant to be given a lie about how they had over 100 orders, there's no way this is true. Cannot stress this enough DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

Ordered delivery, and food still arrived hot. The portions were large, with good pricing. Friendly and helpful delivery, despite challenging address. Ordered fried wonton, duck chow mein, prawn chow mein, and it came with free prawn crackers. The noodles were not super oily, which can often be a challenge for noodle takeaway. The food was very good, would definitely order again.

Visited this Chinese on a Saturday just chilling and fancied and Chinese but haven’t had a good h insecure in a long time but fancier one so wern tho thus Chinese and tried it and, you know what it was lovely and I would have it again very more times, all family like it and his happy to come back.

Food was late by almost an hour and when it did arrive it was absolutely disgusting! The Thai Green Chicken Curry tasted nothing like it should have, instead it tasted like a really cheap cuppa soup with bits of chicken and sweetcorn added to it. The salt and pepper chilli chicken was dry and rock hard, the chow mein was tasteless however the boiled rice were the only decent thing about the meal. Would never order from this place EVER again...in fact its put me right off Chinese takeaway altogether

Ordered at 6:05 via their website. Delivery time estimate was 45-55 mins. Food arrived at 7:40. Then when the food did arrive it was cold and missing part of the order. I called to ask where the missing item was and they said they would either send the item or give credit on our next order. I requested the missing item but this arrived at 9:00. So for 1 meal from order to plate was almost 3 hours. They said they’re busy in the kitchen tonight but maybe a better delivery estimate should be on your website or a courtesy phone call to apologise for the wait. Shame as they’re usually so good!

Ordered a chicken curry for my mom with rice and we ordered it at 8pm....we still haven't received my mom's order.I am dissapointed with the service no phone calls and my mom now is hungry.I feel let down and unhappy with my mom not receiving her food not even a phone call or anything.We are 3 mins from from takeaway.

Ordered by accident on JustEat (meant to order from elsewhere) order was over an hour late, turned up stone cold, greasey and tasteless. One of the worst I've ever had, and not cheap either!

Please go elsewhere for Chinese food. Ordered it at 7pm, arrived at 8:50. No apology, had to call them twice to ask where it was The food arrived and it was not hot. The chicken balls were stodgy and really average. My "imperial duck" was horrible, filled with chunks of pineapple and endless awful peas. The grey meat, I assume it was duck but couldn't tell, was also lined with a soggy saggy skin which looked and had the texture of fingers when they get wrinkly and pruney after a bath. Prawn toast was fine. So was the egg fried rice. But they didn't bring it up to a 2*. Such a disappointment because I used to order from them semi frequently back in 2019/2020 and they were pretty great! Don't know what happened. Order somewhere else for Chinese food. Peach Garden in the city centre is unbearable for roast meat!

Really fancied a steak dinner so ordered. Mix up meant it arrived very late but staff very apologetic and were very eager to rectify their mistake with no hassle to me. The meal arrived very quickly after that and was delicious. I ended up phoning them to comment the chef! To be fair used them before and not usually late.

Food looked great, but dont judge a book by its cover, I order chicken curry and egg fried rice. The chicken curry was not to bad but the rice was just tasted like card and was tough to swallow. First time trying but do not think I will go back. Friendly staff is a plus though which is why I give it 2 stars.

Nice food, I like it. A year ago it was better, now it's a bit expensive. They used to give me a carrier bag, not anymore.

First time having ordered from here as our usual place is closed during lockdown and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this meal. It arrived 20 minutes ahead of the estimated time of delivery, (having ordered through JustEat). The food was piping hot and plentiful. Very tasty and would definitely order from here again. Very pleased.

Usually really good, have used for over 7 years. Great food, reasonable price and usually accurate with the order. We used to get yearly calendars too 😊 Only criticism would be that when they are busy, everything falls apart. Crackers stale, late delivery and warm food.

Found a hair in the food and a thread of string in the chicken balls... dont order unless you want to hack up a fur ball

I have graded this as a 1 star but this is only because it wont let me post it as a 0. My partner has just come back with a Chinese takeaway that we ordered over the phone. The food that I ordered was mini vegetable spring rolls and egg fried rice, chips and curry sauce in a tray. The chips and rice were in a polystyrene tray and the curry sauce separate. The chips were hard and dry, the rice tasted like it had been boiled with no taste and the curry sauce was congealed and tasteless, not to mention my partners satay sauce being watery. The mini vegetable spring rolls were soggy and with little filling in them too. I am writing this review as Chinese takeaways are not cheap and I wouldn't want somebody else making the same mistake.

I have always used this take away and found the food to be good. However the last time I went about 3 months ago I was served at the counter by a rude female in a baseball cap. She was very abrupt and I felt upset about her very poor attitude towards me. Unfortunately because of her I wont be going back. There are plenty more takeaways that will give polite service and make their customers feel valued.

Food is awful!! Worst Chinese around here and no I'm not from any other restaurant I'm a local living a few doors up the Rd. Gutted as it would be nice to not have to travel out of Stirchley to get a decent Chinese take away. Maybe employ a new chef as I've attempted food here 3 times over the years and all 3 occasions it was awful!!!

Absolutely appalling service. Avoid at all costs. Waited for an a hour and a half, called them up to see where the food was and the lady on the phone shouted at me claiming i hadn't ordered it - despite having an email receipt and an order number. Disgusted....and hangry

First time I've ordered from here, won't be again, my order: Chilli salt pepper ribs....a container full of chopped up bits of dry overcooked ribs with more onions and peppers than meat. Spring rolls....huge roll of grey veg wrapped in both crispy and soggy pastry!?.... Minced pork (where is the pork?) Bland, and anemic with lettuce and stale vermicelli. Chicken ball's with sweet and sour sauce.....more batter than chicken.... Extremely disappointed, couldn't eat it £25 wasted.........save your money!!

I visited here on the 28/10/17 and it was the worst Chinese I have ever eaten. I ordered quite late but that shouldn’t ruin the quality of food it should be just as nice and hot as earlier hours when they are open. The women who served me was very rude as she asked me To hurry up and order. When she said I had no rush. So I ordered a £9 set meal And then we ordered individually separate things aswell... so £20 in total. And the food was actually disgusting,I wouldn’t even feed this to my dog. It was cold steal food, I have spare ribs which wasn’t even spare ribs they was just bone with a tiny little bit of meat on them . It was cold chow mien and also over cooked chicken balls. We had that many peppers in our meal that we had more of them,then actually a chicken meal was disgraceful. This place needs reevaluating and SHUTTING DOWN.
