First time here and it was beautiful and delivery was excellent

One of the best Chinese takeaways in the area. From ordering the lady was lovely, nice friendly delivery driver followed by delicious food. The duck & ribs were yummy 😋

This was the first time I'd ordered from here and we will definitely be ordering again,the food was very tasty,big portions and they chucked in some freebies which was a nice touch,the service was great aswell☺️

We ordered a bunch of stuff and it was our first time here and will defo say it was exteremly tasty. Delievery was super fast around 20mins which is great in my opinon. Will 100% be coming back 😊

We usually order from here atleast once or twice a month and it's usually spot on. Although recently we have noticed some food of less quality than it used to be. After receiving this salt and pepper chicken tonight, I am put off ordering again! My children ate this too, I am unaware if amy of theirs had anything on them so they may have now eaten whatever this is on the chicken as well as myself! The rest of the food is now in the bin! £45 in the bin!

My British friends and I came to this restaurant for the first time. The food tastes great, the portions are generous, and we had a wonderful time eating here.

Wow I placed an order for me and the kids. We have now been sat waiting for nearly 2 hours. And all they keep saying is it will be another 20 mins. So definitely will not be using them again at all. Not even a mention that they are busy. Because I'd have gone else were for our food😡😠🤬🤬

Never dined in, but I have phone ordered a couple of times. Very fast service, great taste and massive portion. As someone who's very familiar with Chinese food, I'm now finding this place to be my fave Chinese take away shop. I'd recommend their pork spare ribs (peking sauce) and chow mein.

What can I say apart from I thought I would try it, as we'd had a menu through the door, all I can say is, if I'm not ill tomorrow, it will be a bonus, everything was awful, will not order again

I ordered chips curry sauce sweet and sour chicken salt and pepper chicken for the first time and all the food was delicious it's the best Chinese I have had in a long time they have certainly won my custom.

Generous portions. Hot food upon delivery. Lovely pancake roll! BBQ ribs, tender and big. Only gripe was the sweet and sour chicken balls, the chicken was dry.

Last week the Singapore Chow Mein was sublime. This week it was vile. No Chillies or prawns was just a thick chili like sauce I could do better myself. I won't be ordering again . I would give 0/10 if I had the chance

I’ve already eaten a lot of spring rolls with vegetables, but that’s the best thing they sell here. It is very tasty, not spicy, just as much as it should be, and the composition of the vegetables is also good. Very tasty !!! Delicious !!

I just picked up a takeaway from them and it was delicious. The spring rolls were crispy and flavoursome and the sweet sour chicken balls were delicious. Hughe portion, worse the money. Definitely will visit again and recommend to everyone

First time ordering from The Golden House and it’s the best Chinese we have ever had. We spoke to a patient and helpful lady on the phone when we ordered. spent about £50 and didn’t regret it at all. cheap with huge portions;the chicken balls were big with just enough batter , and the sweet and sour chicken was also full of perfect bite size pieces etc.fast delivery who managed to find my house (no other delivery driver has ever before) and got plenty of free stuff. Cannot fault it; I WOULD RECOMMEND FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE HEART and from now on I come back every week as it’s so efficient. thank you Golden House :)

Fast, efficient& delicious food which is exactly as described. Fresh & crunchy veg. Lush lemon chicken, special chocolate mein with oyster sauce to due for, not to mention complimentary Pepsi & prawn crackers.

Best Chinese locally! Been ordering from here for about 13 years and it's always so good.

Ordered chicken chow main and special chow main both came with under cooked chicken rubbery so phoned and complained. They said they would replace them and send the other food back. From hanging up the phone at 6.58 they cook two chows and delivered then for 7.12 both came under cooked we end up put in the bin total shocking please don't order from there you'll end up very ill.

The most important thing to mention is they are consistent, the food isn't hit and miss, it is always great. The spring roll is massive and serves as a starter for two. The special chow mein is not greasy and is full of flavour. The speak fried rice is wonderful. The special curry also full of meat and prawns. We love it 😁

Nice food, would have given 5 stars but not as nice as it used to be, the salt and chilli chicken has got very salty and so have some other dishes 🙁

Got the order wrong. Received 2 lots of chips instead and the lemon chicken was a little bit tough.

Son mis chinos locales. Siempre he recibido un servicio excelente. El tofu agridulce es excelente y el tofu con salsa Szechuan siempre lo emparejo con chips de sal y pimienta. Las porciones se están llenando. Siempre ponen toneladas de ajo fresco y chiles y verduras en las patatas fritas. Siempre proporcionan galletas de la fortuna y galletas de gambas en grandes pedidos. A mi hermana le encantan las crujientes tortitas de pato y el pollo al curry. A ella también le encantan los chips de sal y pimienta. Hemos probado otros lugares y tengo que decir que su comida siempre se cocina a la perfección. No me gustaría ir a ningún otro lugar. Son solo para llevar, pero su menú tiene muchas opciones. Tienen un gran menú en la pared con alergia y llaves dietéticas. Creo que el pedido mínimo para la entrega es de 10.

Pollo grasoso barato y aceitoso en comida comestible. Un amigo ordenó desde aquí y estábamos muy decepcionados y es el peor chino que puedo decir que he tenido, bueno, en realidad no, ya que era tan vil. No hay oferta para reemplazar solo que estaban ocupados para lidiar con eso. Evitar

Un año después, lo intenté nuevamente. . . . Medio pato para 12 totalmente frito a pedacitos, sin carne en absoluto solo restos! Conos listos triturados por lo que no está recibiendo la mitad de un pato, simplemente lo que cabe en uno de esos contenedores de papel de aluminio. ¿Llamado para quejarse diciendo que debería ser así y para aceptarlo? Sin disculpas ni ningún tipo de simpatía. El pollo es comestible, viscoso y barato. Fideos rezumantes de grasa que te hacen sentir enfermo. Galletas de gambas eran bendy / rubbery. La salsa de curry era una masa resbaladiza y congelada. Asqueroso. ¡Todo por 27 + propina! ! Una estrella es demasiado para este lugar de estaño. No más oportunidades Y NUNCA MÁS OTRA VEZ.

Year later, tried again.... Half duck totally fried to bits, no meat whatsoever just scraps! Called to complain they said it should be like this? No apology or any kind of sympathy. One star is too much for this tin pot place. No more chances.... See ya...... Rubbish......2nd time same poor quality, especially the special fried rice which was just one large stodgy lump
