Fantastic food and very helpful staff. It's like a subway, as you can make your burger from scratch. Very tasty burgers. The interior is different and was very busy when we arrived, but the food came out quick and was fresh

Ive been to this restaurant twice but never ate there. In both occasions I spent over 10 minutes waiting in the counter to order but no one was there except an employee who gestured me to wait more.

My 10 year old son’s review…. The place looked really cool from the outside and the same with the inside. The music is very good , wasn’t too busy and food was very nice. I had the Doritos burger and fries with a Dr Pepper but there was plenty more I could choose and you can build your own burger if you wanted to. My dad says it wasn’t cheap but that’s not my problem you get what you pay for LOL. I would definitely come back here. Thanks , Theo.

Have tried a few items on their menu, mostly chicken. Everything is great quality and must be freshly made as most burger places here cause heartburn/stomach issues but phat buns doesn’t as there stuff is better quality = costs more for a reason Loaded fries waste of time and a con, you get a few bits of chicken for £15 so another waste.

Very nice shop but food is mediocre at best for me. I order a 'plate chick' for £8.. I could get a better tasting burger up the road from Imrans just up the road. Canned drink is £1.70 Would cone back for the philly cheese steak sometime in future but don't think I'd rush back here anytime soon with its pricing.

Food was unbelievable!! Pictures don’t do it justice. The atmosphere was none existent, not a single person in on a Friday afternoon.. no music or anything so very.. boring? The decor is stunning and everything felt and looked so clean. Service was good, very knowledgeable but one staff member didn’t know what we meant when we asked if the wings were boneless. Otherwise great experience and would go again.

Food is seriously overpriced I'm shocked. i don't mind paying more if it actually made sense. I ordered the classic chicken burger and its just like a regular normal burger from any take away, however... worse. It was soggy and cold. The loaded beef fried were dry, lacking sauce and flavour and once again COLD. I ordered on uber eats and did priority delivery to ensure it comes quick with no diversion and yet the food was still cold. NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

Highly overrated and ott expensive! 3 small onion rings for £1.50 and they charge for condiments. They charge separately for chips which are skin on only and dreadful. Their wings are ok and service too but definitely not worth going to. There are better options available

One of the best chicken burgers I've ever had! Décor and music match the heat and flavour of the food. Everything tasted and looked good. Great for pictures too, if you're into that. Recommend the spicy buffalo burger, the pretzel bun is lush. Get the wings and skin on fries while you're at it as well.

Popped in today for a quick lunch. The server was super helpful and friendly. Sadly the food was pretty bad. I had a veggie burger and it was so greasy it just disintegrated and had no flavour. My daughter has a hotdog with ketchup. The ketchup was the super cheap kind that looked like jam and just tasted of sugar. We ate the most of it as we were really hungry but within 20 mins I felt really I’ll and still hours later feel like I put awful food in my body. No return visit from us.

Dined in. We were only people in at 6pmish. The place was clean and bright with a retro 80s vibe. Staff were nice. They didn't give tap water which seemed odd but I got a slushy instead that was lovely. The burgers were amazing! Sometimes burgers can be tastless or just too much like mince but these are juicy, tasty and stacked! Mac n cheese as a burger topping is inspired and the brisket was incredible. We will definitely be back.

I smashed the Philly Cheese Steak and Lemon and Pepper Wings, the butter on the wings was sublime. The Philly was amazing. Lashings of cheese sauce and cooked to perfection. Had corn on the side, spiced perfectly washed down with a Slush to colour my life with chaos, why blooming not! Absolutely loved it. Highly recommend it!

Absolutely loved the brisket burger here. Full of taste and cooked to perfection. Enjoyed the potato tops with cheese sauce on top and some chilli cheese bits. The service was excellent and staff really accommodating. I will definitely bring the family to eat here. See you again soon.

Phat Buns… I was expecting dinner, not an absolute 5 star regal banquet. That was the most phenomenal takeaway I have had in my 24 years of existence. The portions, the seasoning, the cheese to product ratios…. spot on. The staff? I called them prior to explain my fear of sauce, of course they accommodated. This is absolutely the best takeaway in sheffield. You eat this and feel like a king, like a man that can conquer 100 lands. Like a Phat Bun big boy.

The Double Phat Chick here is easily one of the best chicken burgers I’ve had in Sheffield. The staff are friendly and very helpful too.

Rib sandwich tasted as if it was made last week even the lettuce was brown. The potato tots were slightly fresher. Tasted as if they were from last night. Maybe the in store experience is better than delivery Wouldn’t eat here again even if it was free.

first time trying out this place, off the bat the decor is something different it was giving ✨retro✨. I like the fact they have a sink to just simply wash hands and leave instead of going into the toilet, not seen that before, great IDEA. Anyway lady at the till was fab very polite helped us out with what to get. Food came in about 15/20 minutes, seemed like a long wait but i didn’t mind waiting as i had company. I ordered 3 bbq wings and a spicy buffalo burger. The burger was decent, it was Nice, can’t go wrong for the price.. Moving onto the BBQ wings absolutely delicious. If i say so myself the BEST WINGS i have ever tried. They were saucy and fell swiftly off the bone. Definitely recommend this place to everyone, and 100% be back.

The best phat buns we've ever been to. We've been to a few phat buns before (nottingham, Derby and Loughborough) but this is the best one, hands down. So 1st off they do desserts here?!? Which are gourgeous and better than the deserts from some desert only places. The waffle stick was gourgous - just the right amount of crunch and a more than decent serving size, my partner loved the DIY pancakes stack with its generous serving of biscoff sauce. The tater tots here taste like the McDonald's hashbrowns you'd have as a kid - seriously I think they may fry them in fairy dust or something, they're amazing - crispy outsides, soft insides, lovely flavour on their own and not super greasy like a McDonald's hashbrown is now. The burgers were 5 star as always.

I have been a loyal customer and have always enjoyed the food. However, I'm disappointed to report that my recent experiences have been less satisfying. Unfortunately, the prices have increased significantly, and despite paying extra for additional beef, the size of the burgers has noticeably decreased compared to my experince in other locations last year. The quality seems to have dropped as well; the burgers no longer taste fresh but rather like they've been merely reheated. It's disheartening to see greed affect what was once a great place to eat. I believe this could lead to the loss of many loyal customers, including myself.

Service is big for me.. And I read a few reviews saying the service isn't the best but id thought I'd give it a go and try it. Decor looks on point. Went in earlier and the lady behind the till lovely but seemed new and tried her best which is fine but then a grumpy gent came out of the back to take over and he just seemed annoyed he had to serve customers..no smile.. Nothing. Abrupt I'd say. To confirm my order he said is that it? I said yes.. Food arrived within a respectable time but again it was the same guy and no enjoy.. No comment at all just put the food on the table and walked. Food was spot on but service unfortunately is terrible. They don't call it service with a smile for nothing.. Manners cost nothing.

First time here so sampled a few bits between three of us, wicked food joint, the choice is great, the build your own burger menu is fantastic, but the classic popular burgers are there for a reason. Everything we ate was top quality and fresh as anything you'll eat, rib sandwich and loaded potato tots all the way, tenders with a great variety of sauces, desserts are phenomenal, especially the French toast and shakes are real good too. We ate in then ordered desserts to go. Service was outstanding, everything was explained nice and simple, great recommendations. lala is the man! If you ain't been to eat here yet, get a grip and get yourself in there.

I don’t mind paying high prices for a burger if it lives upto it, I take my son regularly to five guys or beast burger and although very pricey they taste amazing. These however were awful worse than macdonalds he had a burger and chips which came to £11.00 the burger had very little taste, so disappointing. The restaurant itself looked lovely maybe they should have spent less on the decor and more on the ingredients

Each time I have been (3x now in total) the staff have got my order wrong. First two times I asked for no jalapenos yet they put them. Last night I ordered a suhoor meal and specifically stated no turkey bacon yet they put it in. The staff do not care for customer dietry requirements and I will not be going again! Avoid this place esp if you have specific dietry requirements or allergies as they won’t care for your requests. Staff need better training.

Used to be my go to for Saturday night takeaway, but I simply can’t afford it anymore. Prices seemed to double overnight, and meal deals taken off the menu. It’s unfortunate that the good food is made by greedy people…

Literally blown away by a burger and that doesn't happen often. I have never had a burger that looked like the picture, until now! The lettuce was fresh and crisp, not sweaty iceberg, the pasties were crispy and juicy the sauce was really tasty and the buns were fresh and fluffy. I've never had so much to write about a burger. Also the tots instead of chips were one of the best potato adaptations I have ever tried. The service was excellent it was clean tidy and modern. Even the toilet was top notch spacious and clean. I really can't believe I have this much to say about a burger restaurant.

Visited for the first time today. We’ve been looking forward to trying phat buns for a while and it did not disappoint. The choice and customisation is mind boggling for the first visit so we went for the classic with cheese which consisted of two Angus burgers, lettuce, tomato, cheese, gherkins and their phat sauce served on seeded brioche buns. This can accompanied with the crispiest fluffy centred potato tots that were coated in a lightly spiced seasoning salt. The burger and the tots were delicious and presented lovely. We also ordered 8 wings to share 4 sweet chilli and sesame and 4 garlic and Parmesan and omg the wings are fire! They stole the show. Especially the garlic and Parmesan which were coated in a crispy coating and really tender these are a must try. The staff were really friendly and helpful they even gave us a few sample potato tots to try. We will definitely be returning again

This used to be a 5 start review of here, however I find it disgusting that you’ve put up the price of various items by over 50%, LITERALLY OVERNIGHT. We used to order from you every week but I literally can’t afford it anymore. How on earth you think it’s okay to put a tub of Mac and cheese up from £3.50 to £6.99 is just ridiculous. Safe to say I won’t be back anymore. Taking the mick

My new favourite burger spot! I have been nothing but wowed the last few times i have been here, not only by the food but the friendly staff that go above & beyond. The tots are always a hit especially with my little one but the succulent pulled beef sandwich is taking number one spot for me at the moment, very closely followed by the buffalo chicken burger. So good!

I clearly said no cheese and they put a slab of halloumi in my burger 😭 unfortunately I had eaten most of my food. Managed to get a refund with some difficulty. I won't be going back

We placed our order at 17:17, accepted at 17:38, at point of review it’s 20:12 and it still hasn’t arrived…. Over multiple phone calls we were told different reasons, different times the driver would leave and arrive, we weren’t offered any solution other than, ‘we can’t get any drivers atm, nothing we can do’. Delay after delay, the order was supposedly out for delivery, to arrive to us in around 15 minutes. 25 minutes later I called and was basically told it’s left our restaurant now, nothing we can do. It’s a shame as the food is nice, we’ve ordered before through Just Eat with no issue, my oversight this time not ordering on there again… considering the estimate we got initially was 2hrs (it’s currently been 2.5hrs+) and the cost of said delivery was £5 extra (daylight robbery) I would’ve at the LEAST expected to be offered a refund of the delivery charge, but no responsibility was taken. Wouldn’t use again and would advise anyone to NOT order directly from their website for delivery if you are ordering!!

Honestly if ordered one of the Cheetos burgers (which were not soggy when delivered) hot dog and breakfast sandwich a few days ago and it was absolutely amazinggg. Everything taste so fresh, the menu items are so creative. The breakfast was one of the best all day sandwiches I’ve ever had, I asked for the sausage to be cooked abit longer and honestly made it ten times more great than it was. Thank you so much Staff and delivery man was also really friendly. For what your paying for I believe it’s great for the price too. The Tater tots was also a better alternative.

We ordered from PhatBuns tonight, a place we’ve had lots of good quality food from. I’ve never felt the need to leave a review however tonight I feel very inclined to do so. We ordered around £50 worth of food and had some new bits to try off the menu, the sweetcorn ribs, and some chilli cheese bites. However these were missed out from our order when we collected we rang up promptly and spoke on the phone with the store manager who was very polite and helpful he told us that they were very sorry and would come to our house to drop off the missing items, not only did they do this but they gave us some beverages to accompany the missing items. On arrival he was very kind and apologetic for their mistake. Although they made a mistake they was very quick to rectify and make up for it, we are very pleased that this was done and even more pleased with the courtesy drinks. Thank you to the staff and store manager who has gone above and beyond for us tonight, mistakes happen and when it’s busy it’s bound to happen yet the service was stellar and so was the food. We will be back very soon, thanks again everybody!

The manager Sakib is a true credit and asset to this place. He’s very good at his job - their food is spot on, the pulled beef sandwich was my favourite. Defo recommend the food and service and will be returning soon

Been to this place after hearing good reviews. I don’t know, but it was very disappointing to me. Ordered 15 wings and tried various sauces. To be honest I couldn’t literally taste oil which is been reused. Ordered chips and tots both tasted the same. The oil has been reused. It was disappointing.

Oh my gawd the cheese chicken one just get it flaming amazing 🤩 And what is wrong with peeps the tator tots are amazing on par with the burger -always swings me. No lie, this has to be the best burger spot I’ve been to in life. I ordered the Classic Phat Cheese Burger with an added fried egg, crinkle fries and a side of Mac & cheese. Everything went down nicelyyy. Very good quality and the man who served me was really personable and friendly. Massively disappointed with my classic cheese burger I was expecting so much more the burger looked like it had been run over by a steamroller literally flat as a pancake. And the sweet potato fries were stone cold but tasted more like carrots 🤔 definitely not going here again 👎👎 The only decent thing was the sour cream dip.

Very average to be honest, ordered quite a large order on Ubereats, on arrival it was cold and needed to be reheated in the microwave. Baring in mind the classic phat cheese burger with chips is £12 the burger that arrived was bite sized and nothing like the pictures on the site, like it wouldn’t harm them to increase the sizes so you at least feel like you’re getting your moneys worth. I ordered 8 wings and tator tots for £10.20, the portions were decent for the price and the wings were large, not keen on breaded wings though and the flavours were alright, not great, tator tots average. A couple friends of mine ordered the hotdog for £8.45, again tasted alright but very miniscule for the price. Overall, wouldn’t order from here again.

The place is very well set out. The food was good, especially the chicken wings, BUT, it's SO expensive. Even more so than places like Five Guys. The place was empty, even though it was a Friday lunch time. I expect that's because of the ridiculous cost.

Went in last night as a group of 17. The guy on the front counter was very hospitable and made us feel welcome, he explained the menu to us and gave recommendations. The food came out freshly cooked, well seasoned and delicious, the portions are very generous. All of us enjoyed our food, will definitely be visiting again. The chicken wings in particular are very good.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! I am so angry and disappointed, ordered online through uber eats and my burger and tots did not come. Also food was cold. I SPENT NEARLY £50 on what? Customer service was terrible several times, told to wait and give them a minute or two. They checked cameras (great but like the outcome would change) then came back saying they packed it. All we wanted to know is if they will deliver the meal. I had to wait for a reply that was “that's a mazza” when we told him the bag was not sealed closed. I was hungry had to order somewhere else. I will NEVER order here again. Mark my words. Never received bad service this BAD. He could have said we can't send a burger out. I would be cool with that because I could have ordered somewhere else sooner.

Can't complain about the service the lads were very polite. But the food......hhhhmmm? First of all the price for the size of the portion is too high. Those burgers look big in the pictures but in reality they are about same size as McDonald's fillet o'fish burger buns. £8- £12 just for the burger on its own is daylight robbery. Burger wasn't great either in honest fact it shouldn't be for the £5 for the size. The wife tried the pulled beef sandwich for £12 and it was not worth it. Atmosphere was really quite but I didn't mind that. Would I go there again....probably not. All in all I give it a 5/10

After a recommendation we decided to take a chance on Phat Buns Sheffield. Ordered through Uber Eats. Food came on time, nothing special in my opinion but the wife liked it. We was missing a burger so the wife called them to explain. They asked if the bags were sealed when we received them, which they were. They then blamed the Uber driver for taking the burger and there was nothing they could do. No offer of a refund or apology. Disgusting customer service, won’t be getting my money again. Phat buns, Crap buns. I wait for your reply.

Spent £46.00, missing burger, when I called, they blamed the Uber driver of having it. Both bags were sealed. They did apologise but said it’s out of there hands. 🤔😳

Fantastic welcoming server who took the time to explain how the menu works. Hands down the best burger I have had and I'm 44! Chicken wings are extra crispy and tender in the middle.

When the server knew it was our first time he took the time to explain how the menu works. He was lovely and polite. The best burgers we have ever had. The Phat bun bread itself was unreal, the wings were crispy on the outside and tender in the middle.

Really delicious food! Very busy place. Only downside is the menu can be a bit overwhelming as it’s basically a DIY burger place. They do have some pre-made options but they’re on the screens not on the menu. We ordered 2 burgers and 8 wings. Nice option they have is that they let you split the wings into 2 flavours. The bbq ones were amazing! The burger was tender and juicy. Would definitely go back again.

Hands down the worst takeaway I’ve ever had in Sheffield. Spent nearly £40 for a hotdog, burger and a few sides. Hotdog arrived completely messed up, burger tasted awful and cheap. Turns out you pay for the branding. Delivery driver passed over the food with a cigarette in his other hand. Food arrived cold. Thought they’d be better service with paying a premium price for poor food. I’ve had some bad takeaways in Sheffield, but this one tops it

First time I’ve tried phat buns and it’s honestly the best chicken I’ve tasted for a long while, ordered the chicken bao buns and Mac and cheese bites, very tasty, the chicken was soft and juicy and the flavour was amazing! They forgot my drink but a refund was issued straight away. Would highly recommend!!

Quite expensive but tastes really nice and really welcoming friendly service. I ordered the grilled chicken burger but I didn't know it would be so spicy, I struggled to eat it. However, has a taste of the fried chicken burger which was delicious.

No joke, the food was outstanding!!! Staff are friendly and helpful, we will be back soon and would 100% recommend giving a visit! The milkshakes are ridiculous we had 3, the peanut butter brownie, strawberry cheesecake and the s,mores.
