Golden House in Aberdeen City

If you’re a fan of Chinese food, then this is definitely the right place for you. It’s a full takeaway place, hence not for dining in. The dish I would recommend is garlic chilli chicken with egg fried rice.

Working away from home and wanted a Chinese. So glad I picked Golden House . Fresh . Tasty. Perfection 👌

Golden House in Aberdeen is so poor now. I have ordered duck, but mostly in the box was huge pieces of onion, carrots and green paper. The price is not adequate to food they serve. I will not recommend!

I know credit card companies charge fees, but come on, it’s the 21st century and pretty much everyone else takes credit cards. It’s a really poor customer experience to show up here and then be told can’t buy anything and you need to back out on to the road and find an ATM before you can give The Golden House any business. The menu looked good but after 10 minutes of try to find a working ATM I gave up and ordered a burger on my app at Wetherspoons instead. Think you need to reflect if saving yourself a few pennies on credit card fees is worth it for customers who just give up and go somewhere else.

I ordered food from Golden house via deliveroo because I pay for delivero plus so deliveries over £10 are free. My order from Golden house was over £20 was placed and after a few minutes golden house called me and said I had to pay for the delivery or they would not fulfill the order. This is a scam!!! That's why I pay for delivero plus so as not to pay for deliveries. Food was not delivered and no refund as of yet.

Ordered from Golden house, got called from them AFTER ordering and got told I had to pay the delivery driver money because they are driving a long distance, but I payed £3 for delivery online.. so they are trying to over charge and seem innocent about it and blame the driver ??? Ridiculous.

If you want spicy and flavored food Golden House is the go to place ! Amazing service to, Can't ask for a better takeaway! Well done Golden Hoouse!

Singapore fried rice is excellent 😋

Ordered a special curry and chips and cheese omelette tonight couldn't fault it husbands omelette must of been made with about 6 eggs large curry with lots of different meat and only had to wait 20 minutes from ordering it was at my door and food was hot we would order again

This take away is an absolute avoid,the delivery drivers dont even come to the door,didn't sit in my garden like one of the other reviews but claimed they had been at my door knocking and ringing the doorbell, I have a dog and if anyone had knocked on my door my dog would have been barking, so blatantly telling lies and using abusive language, phoned to complain and found that the management seemed to think that,that sort of service and treatment was perfectly acceptable, absolute joke of a take away and would never order from them again. Do not order from this take away, unless you enjoy getting treated like a proper mug

When your order is put on the counter 5 minutes after you've ordered it I think its safe to say its not been freshly cooked. Tasteless.

They do great salt and pepper chips. A good curry too.

ordered a munchie box for a friday night treat with the kids.. after a no show contacted the take away to be told that the driver had passed my front window and been sat in the garden waiting for an answer for half an hour half an hour like literally sat in garden waiting absolute joke then after requesting a re delivery was told the driver had gone home at 8.40 on a friday night very strange...then a heap of abuse and told its not their problem please avoid at all costs

Well what can i say.!!!! Staff at counter was so lovely and welcoming last week. I ordered chicken curry no onions,chips ,fried rice,bbq sauce and smoked corn chicken(was outa this world amazing) the curry was soooo delishious my little boy was stuck in.he said mummy this best curry ever.we hadnt had chinese since start lockdown.totally fab to everyone at golden house.we will def be back best chinese ive come accross in long time.A+++++ Kerry and little jack 😊

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. My partner and I both loved our dishes, Singapore style vermicelli noodles and sweet and sour king prawn and chow mein .Delivery fee is £2.50 and dishes are reasonably priced. No complaints at all.

Had a carry out meal for the first time from this restaurant. Was really happy with the food. Really tasty and the portions was great.The lady I spoke to was so nice and friendly. Food arrived promptly. Will definitely recommend this carry out to all my friends.

First time. Ordered salt and pepper ribs. They were on the side of cremation. Then beef chow main that was so dry. Never been so disappointed. Not a great birthday treat. Only ordered as got a menu through the door. 😡 03/12/2018

The food always looks bright and fresh and colourful. The pancake rolls have plenty beansprouts! (Very important in my opinion!) I usually order shredded chili beef which is always wonderfully crispy, not too spicy and not (as some places do) bulked out with excessive onions. I also like their chow mein, with which you get the option of thick or thin noodles.
