Eagle May in Aberdeen City

Order food was told will take upto 1 hour. Thought ok fine over two hour later door bell rings. I phoned after hour and half and was told it's just leaving then took over 30 mins to come. Food was good and surprisingly still hot. Women on phone was nice just time it took was terrible

Orderd take away tonight, i live about ten minutes away but took an hour and half for delivery, the chicken in the meal is not proper chicken,its like a chunk of processed meat, it was awful, i will not be ordering from them again, money down the drain in my opinion, most of it wemt.in bin.

Customer service was excellent. Food was plentyful and great quality very full with happy bellies. Speed the food was made fast we were in and out and looking forward to next time! Highly recommend

Tried here as it’s our closest takeaway but sadly we won’t be back. Placed order online easy enough and great menu choice but they clearly don’t cook the food in line with the delivery as it all arrived by taxi no less 50mins later and all cold. Reheating Chinese food never really works well but it was that or eat it cold. The chips and spring rolls were very greasy and was soaked through the bags. I noticed a lot of other customers reporting this but they’re clearly not listening to feedback. The chicken balls were put In polystyrene so the batter was soggy. The curry sauce was nice, sweet and sour was bland and watery and the rice was nice but small portion. Eagle may used to be amazing so such a shame they haven’t kept the quality up.

Under cooked chicken was rubbery took an hour and a half to come was absolutely freezing really wasted my money I wish I hadn’t phoned really has to be the worst food iv tasted staff wasn’t helpful when I called and complained wanted me to take it back out of the bin they knew it would of been cold after a hour and 30minutes waiting this is not what you would expect from a take away place truly am disappointed

Food was cold and extremely oily. Delivery driver was incredibly rude and shouted for taking a minute to answer the door. Staff at the restaurant were understanding when we called, but it didn’t make up for the nasty driver or the disappointing food. Also few non-vegetarian dishes are marked vegetarian, oyster sauce isn’t vegetarian and neither is fish

Been going here for years and absolutely love thier thin noodles. However the last time I got satay skewers the chicken was inbetween rubbery and dry. The last chilli beef I got was very disappointing too. Sad times. The staff are always welcoming and happy and I'm fond of them. Just sort the meat out please.

Always pleased to see regular customers. Not much in the way of vegan options but we have always found the food to be great quality.

We stopped by the shop, soaking wet for a takeaway and were not at all disappointed! Wide selection on the menu and the food was served up quickly!! Piping hot and such a welcome treat on a cold, rainy day.

Good taste. The price is kept artificially low. The food is always without rice, which costs extra.

Absolutely delicious! We had Szechuan prawn, crispy beef and satay mushroom trio. Top notch quality, taste and quantity. Plus efficient service with a smile. Highly recommended.

Takeaway is able to provide some vegan options. Decent priced tasty food and quick service. The owner is the friendliest person - always happy!

The food was swimming in oil the vegetables were sour especially carrots which were black with age 2 items were missing off of the order .what happened eagle may you used to be amazing now the food is disgusting. Will be reporting to environmental health .

I used toget meals from here all the time this time food was 35 minutes late and items missing and the delivery driver was holding the food up as though she was disgusted with delivery and food was cold will defo not be ordering from here again

I’ve ordered from here many times before and I usually pick it up myself. Opted to have it delivered tonight but the Food was delivered late and cold. Not a nice experience . Will put me off from going again

If i could leave zero stars I would.. raging. Shocking customer service😡. I never even got the chance to order my food tonight. I called to place my order and stated over the phone i was ordering off the “wheat free menu” something that i have done dozens of times before. Only for the rude man on the other end of the phone to say.” Whatever. Tell me what u want i will tell you if its wheat free or not.” I stated that I’ve ordered multiple times before and being Coeliac i know what i can and cant order. His manner never changed and still spoke aggressively towards me questioning my choices before i even made them. Sort out your phone manner and customer service. Disgraceful way i was talked to tonight before i even ordered food. 😡

I Asked for 2 dishes from the wheat free menu on Friday, they were not wheat free because I have been I'll all week suffering and havent had a wheat poisoning for years as I have a strict diet. Appaling service and positive they gave me the wrong dish . They do not realise the importance of the gf wheat free options or how serious it is to give out the wrong things . I ordered in the shop and clearly stated from the wheat free menu . Avoid this place if you are gluten free . They dont care

Good food, good staff and good environment.

Have been going here for years but their service of late has been lacking. Tonight took the biscuit. Over charged and missing items and it's not the first time but I've let it go as it's normally not worth it. Today was a bit more than a couple of quid but was "unable" to refund me but i could have 20% off next time. No thanks, I'd just like my money back. I'm sad to say I won't be ordering here again.

My son ordered food from here the other night and was disappointed. Nothing in the won tons. And the chicken in the fried rice was frozen chicken thrown in. When he called to complain the man said very sorry and hung up. Wont ever be buying food again from eagle may

I think this is my favourite takeaway in Aberdeen. Always top notch, tasty food, with quick service and no hassle. The lemon chicken is delicious.

Incredibly quick delivery and friendly staff member. Food was delicious, I would definitely recommend.

The food is lovely but the last 3 times I've waited over an hour for a delivery then had to phone and chase them up. First time they'd mislaid the order, 2nd & 3rd it was just being prepared. When you order they just say it'll be with you as soon as possible- I'd rather they gave a timescale.

Waited an hour and half for it... Came cold and soggy from the condensation on the containers. Chips looked and were disgusting... Very very disappointed. Won't be back

My order House Special Chow Mein Honey Chilli Chicken The chowmeins cabbage was absolutely stinking like as in rotten the smell almost made me sick so just ate the noodles and left the rest. The chicken was also not great, battered chicken in a very very runny honey sauce it should be at least kind of thick in my experience They also missed bringing me my drinks which i am now waiting for. But i don't have much faith it has been 30mins almost. I now just remember why i don't order from here again How it has a high rating on justeat i will never know. I'm pretty sure i had a kind of bad experience last time also if my memory serves me right.

Google and their own website says open until 22:30. Just round the corner so called at 21:55 to place an order to collect soon, and to ask if they accept card payment. VERY abruptly told “We’re closed” and hung up before I could say sorry I thought you were open until 10:30 (pm). False advertising and attitude of woman on phone means I will never try this place again, despite having just moved in to the area.

The woman on the counter is very rude and unhelpful. If she doesn’t like dealing with people she should find another job. I also noticed her phone manner is appalling.

Pretty surprised about the good reviews here. I recently ordered a chow mein. the chicken was gelatinous and spongey. The pieces looked to big to be fully cooked. It tasted like dog food. Maybe I'm crazy because I constantly see cars pulling up and ordering food, like they made the point of coming here over anywhere else. Put it this way, If they can screw up a chow mein that badly to the point i loose my apetite mid meal, I don't want to taste anything else they have to offer

The Eagle May is one of the finest chinese takeaways on the south side of Aberdeen. Often after a tiring week a trip by this friendly establishment always hits the spot in taste and variation. Highly recommended
