The food tasted funny. Chicken tasted rancid. Absolutely disgusting food.

The staff here are always polite, the food is prepared quickly and the price is fair. I would say folk leaving poor reviews probably also want the moon on a stick.

The fish and chips I ordered was bad. the fish tastes like cardboard which I think is the batter..the fish was not edible but the chips was the normal chips you get which was nice. The savaloy was probably deep fried in which it was also hard. overall the currys sauce and the chips was good but I would not order again.

Food, was great the everyone enjoyed, the Singapore fried rice was simply delicious 😋 Thank you I will be back!

Chips were cold when food arrived, portion sizes were much smaller than normal. Normally good but today was a disappointment.

I have to say the food was awful. We had fish and chips which was hard and oily, some chips were raw while others were dry ( all very oily too) The Chinese food there is also really awful... The staff are very friendly so it's a shame!

I have waited 100 minutes for chips rice and chicken. If I would have known it was going to take that long, I wouldn’t have bothered. Terrible service! Food arrived cold, should really have a full refund for this!

Again another great meal, always listen to the notes when I ask for bbq sauce instead of sweet n sour with chicken balls, great achievement tonight is that my teenage son who is only just liking Chinese food and normally has their fish and chips decided tonight he will trust me and have Chinese food and he loved it all! Beef in black beans with special rice he loved and prawn roast for the first time, chicken balls he loves anyways but now outta 10 ordered with bbq sauce to share he ate 9 🤣

Was delivered within 20 minutes which I was very surprised at, food was hot tho beef in black bean lacked a little taste than usual and the fish and chips were quite soggy but son still enjoyed it, I do like the fact this restaurant actually looks at the notes and always adheres to it, still a good meal all round 👌🏻

I've been ordering golden House since my son was born he is now 14 I am so disappointed and disgusted that the deliver driver ask for more payment condersing I ordered from UBER EATS and the food was cold and missing orders never again and just for public to be aware you do not have to give money when you have paided through a company

Amazing!!!! Only problem is the chicken fried rice should be dark like the chow mein!!! That’s how I like it!!!

The main food was nice as usual but the large pancake rolls I ordered were inedible I took a bite in the first one and it had a weird vinegar type taste, tried the second and was the same so went in the bin, shame as normally nice so not sure what happened this time

The food was gorgeous, however the delivery driver is extremely rude. He throws your food bag at you, and then proceeds to swear at me. Not once but 3 times twice being the last time I ordered

Special fried rice is on of the worst I’ve had. No taste and disgusting

1 hour 45 minutes later the delivery driver turned up and threw the food at me. Didn’t say a word and turned around. Never met anyone as ignorant in my life. Chips didn’t turn up and the food was freezing cold.

Amazing taste and still piping hot! Set meal is an amazing price especially getting actual proper prawn crackers free with it, I got extra pancake rolls and although not in thin crispy wrap but a batter was rather tasty and slightly sloppy but managed to eat both as was different to the norm but very nice 👍

Food was terrible I will never gonna order again from this restaurant. I ordered lemon chicken and I got some dryed chicken. Quality food also was terrible.

1st time I've ordered from this chinese.. everything was lovely ..portions were big and plenty of king prawns in the prawn curry.. spare ribs were cooked just right and really meaty.. I will definitely order again!

Ordered extra chips and didn’t receive them

The chow mein was oily and overly salty (I like salty food but this was almost uneatable) and the prawns were like little rubber bullets. I've definitely had a lot better and won't be ordering again.

Order was late…..App told me it had been delivered. It hadn’t been. The sweet and sour balls were ok. Very greasy. The chips tasted like the were next day. They were cold. Lacked salt (essential for salt and pepper chips right?). I won’t recommend this place….

Was expecting delivery delays due to the footie but was 10 mins earlier than estimated time, food was hot and very tasty, big portions in the set meals, I like the fact I can actually chew the beef in the black bean sauce as some places it’s chewy, the special fried rice has pieces of nice meat not was looks like leftover bits from chopping joints in preparation 👍

This is our go to place to order chinese from. The selection of food is great and everything we have tried has been of great quality! It is always delivered earlier than expected and always piping hot. Cannot recommend this place more and always such friendly staff when we have popped in to collect orders too!

Usually great, but yesterday was very sub par. The soup was amazing as alwas, but the ribs were dry and tasteless, sauces too congealed.. I expect better from you guys.

Food was nice. It would be better to have rice vermicelli noodles with the Singapore noodles or put the information on the menu so we know that egg noodles are what you use and not vermicelli. Other than that the food is worth the money.👍

I ordered the House Special Chow Mien and Prawn Toast. The prawn toast tasted strange - it was soggy but also had a citrusy mild lemon tang after every bite which was very off-putting. The prawn topping was also very hard and rubbery, like biting through a thin pencil rubber. The chow mien was okay, it had all the different meat types but was swimming in oyster sauce. If you’re the kind of person that likes a basic soy based chow mien, that’s not what you get with this. Not an amazing Chinese, 5/10,

Ordered crispy duck which wasn’t crispy clue is in the name. Satay chicken was very poor tasted watered down and fresh chillies cur into it, who does that. Unfortunately food was poor tonight when usually a lot better.

Swift delivery, the food was piping hot and delicious as always.

Delicious food, from a variety of menus! Delivered on time and courteous staff. Fave restaurant!

2nd time ordering from here, had an issue where we got rice instead of noodles but a quick call and they swiftly resolved it and sent us out a replacement. Only small gripe is the first time the crispy chilli beef was nice and crispy and this time it was rather on the soft side but hey it happens, will order again.

We’ve ordered here before and we weren’t bowled over by the food, however we decided to give them another go, given that they have good reviews. Well, we won’t be trying again. The food was late. It was supposed to come at home 18:05 and came closer to 18:20. This is after phoning the restaurant as the tracker was telling me that the food was already delivered. I was told that this was because of the machine and the order would be another 10-15 mins. The food itself was okay, the highlight was the mixed sweet and sour. The salt and pepper was soggy and not that enjoyable. We won’t be using this restaurant again.
