Not good at all , ordered kebab and throw in bin , waste of money!!

Pizza's luck warm on arrival, chips are more like scraps, only thing I love is the garlic and chilli, won't be ordering again

First time here ! And won't be going back, Got to say the fish was o.k. But the chips were awful, They were more like scraps hard and fried until the interior was gone.

My mam had the fish then next day was sick took her to hospital found out she has food poisoning only thing she ate was the fish shocking from here

Got potion of chips to find chips just warm bordering on cold 2 mins after leaving shop won’t be back

Always have a good experience here and the food is very reasonably priced

Decent quality takeaway nice wraps friendly staff could do with a little more variety.

Went for a 12inch kebab wrap with salad what a waist of money hardly any meat at all all salad , not the first time this as happened they have cut back that much with there kabab meat in there wraps it’s waist of money. If I wanted a salad wrap I would have asked for one because that’s what it was . Don’t waist your money go somewhere else that’s my advise.

We got our food from here after it was recommended to us not for us I'm afraid service was slow and loud food when we got home it had been double wrapped yet the grease had soaked through it the portions were enormous which to some would be a good point if you feeding a family of 4 two bags of chips would do it and then some bit off put for us prices were good but then I think you maybe pay for what you get

A man came from out the back and his clothing and hair were filthy no hat on while cooking either Food was disgusting went straight in the bin Also selling dodgy stuff from behind the counter fags and vodka Dodgy owner obviously Never ever go here it's a dump

Use this chippy every couple of weeks when I'm in the area chip butty with kebab meat is a must came today got the 18"wrap what can I say lovely as usual amount of meat chicken and chips in the wrap was unreal well worth the money 2 of us shared it and struggled to finish it bargain for the money keep up the good work guys 👍can't recommend this place enough cheers

Will NEVER eat here again it was disgusting the pie was as dry as anything and when I called and complained and said no way had it only been heated once I was pretty much told I’m lying and there is nothing wrong with it the chips were oozing with grease this place needs shutting down if I could give it a zero I would

We go every week and they are the best take away by far

ordered my food and they sent me wrong pizzas with no garlic what i payed for. after she had a fight with man why on phone to me about my wrong order she than made excuses up saying they had no more pizza bases and was a wast of time them sending my garlic out. and fused to give me a refund

CASH ONLY, only went here cause it was near Tesco, chips were alright sausage was lovely 18" wrap could feed loads but got order wrong (they misheard me when I asked about it) apart from that was cheap as it should be!

Ordered on the Thursday for 15 pizzas for a surprise birthday party @7pm on the Saturday...they delivered spot on time and they were all very hot and very, very tasty , everyone asking where they came from. Thank you all at the golden fry for such great service and quality food 👌 😋 😀 👍 👏

The fish is absolutely beautiful but sadly the chips let them down. Plenty of them but mostly small hard sharp pieces but all in all probably the best chippie in the area.

Got cheesy chips and Bolognese sauce but it hardly any cheese on and the Bolognese was unapitising not nice at all . The cheese burgers are also a bit too greasy.

They do s fantastic deal for £7 for a pizza, a wrap and a drink

The food is nice but the service is slow. Annoying when you ring in an order, go to collect it & are still waiting another 20mins!

Lovely Pizza but said they don't deliver yet when I got down there the Driver said we do deliver to stanhope. But the web says No can do otherwise done was lovely

Quality really gone downhill got a dozen decent chips out of 2 large portions, really disappointing

Favourite takeaway now, we drive from out of town just to go as they dont deliver to us. Pizzas are beautiful and the cheesy chip wrap is gorgeous. Really good value for money and incredibly clean- highly recommend!

Food is good but telephone ordered same as other people but after coming in after the given time they were only starting peoples orders then. But tries to say it was because their were loads of orders first but I heard them talking about what they would tell the customers. If they didnt lie I wouldn't be bothered

I wouldn’t give 1 star for the customer service I received was absolutely disgraceful and to be called a liar due to my order not being taken correctly the whole order what did come went back to the shop which they took back then refused a refund so basically you stole my money!!!!!!!! As for the food the pizza was squashed to the box the chips fish bites and curry was absolutely disgraceful I will never order again from here and would advise this review as a no go!!!!!!!!!

Been here about 5 times now and has always been very nice. Great value for the quality of food.

They would have a zero if I could. Chips were awful, don't know how long they've been cooked and left then to top it off my husband is eating his mixed wrap which they wrap up and he pulls a huge long hair from out of the food in his mouth. If you've got hair wear a hair net, see the lasses regularly with long hair in just a pony tail. Waste of money, it's been thrown in the bin not even half ate

A walk along the beach ,then lovely fish n chips (eat outside obviously) what more do you want

Friendly staff. Always get kebab meat and chips. £3.50 and enough to overfill me with a bit spare for my dogs.
