Golden Crown in Salford

T Bosomworh - Had the pleasure of eating from the Golden Crown for over 30 years and have obviously been treated, I have moved out of the area and realised there is no comparison to the taste and quality of the Crown. I recently visited and was treated with the same warm welcome, great service and fabulous food, best Foo Yung in the land! Irlam is lucky to have the Golden Crown in their area and I would like to thank the beautiful family that have been committed for years to providing the area with an authentic taste, remaining remarkably consistent for over 30 years and always providing an excellent warm and welcoming service.A taste of home. Their food is obviously prepared with much love and attention. I wish then much luck and prosperity for the future x

Don't usually like a Chinese takeaway but The Golden Crown is just great. Lots of flavour in the food and always tastes very fresh. The service is also very welcoming and polite. 5 stars all around

The chip's and gravy is fantastic

Great food here, only hang up is theh dint deliver. Loads to choose from and well priced. Owners and family are really friendly and helpful, service for collection is super fast.

Nice food.. but I did turn up at 20 past 1 and they were closed should close at 1.30. The woman behind the counter disappeared after I tried the door.

The people were lovely and the service was nice and the salt and pepper chicken balls were lovely hats off to the chef will definitely be going more often

Most certainly the worst chinese food I have ever had! Dull, tasteless and disgusting. I could have done better at home. This is so sad from a traditional chinese set out.

Our company used the Golden Crown for a Xmas buffet style dinner. I tried a variety of dishes and I really enjoyed all of them. The taste was truly outstanding. Thanks for such a lovely meal. Will def pop by for more food if I'm in the area.

Always been a good take away especially salt and pepper ribs.

At this moment in time it's easier to phone in your order then pick it up .Quite a varied menu and probably on par price wise with other Chinese chippies one thing to note it's cash only no cards accepted.

Tonight I had a rare treat and had mushroom and green pepper in black bean sauce it was delicious 😋 I have gone to golden crown pretty much since it opened and ,I always enjoy their food which is high quality.

Best Chinese takeaway I've ever been. Even when you struggle with the remembering names of the food you like those people will help you to find what was it, no matter how long it takes 😁

Very nice. First visit after moving home. Beautiful food and a very organised system that work's. Kids really enjoyed their meals and the Vermicelli was fantastic. Will be back soon 👍

Got food poisoning.. on a reheated sausage...not Happy...

Local Chinese shop, every time I go there the food is amazing and because it is so good I can't end up finishing my second helpings

The menu is varied and offers a good range, sometimes I can even get a scollop from here.

The food was absolutely revolting and horrible as it always is and the staff were very rude, ignorant and unhelpful, as they always are. They can't even understand very simple and basic requests. I will definitely not be going there ever again!

'Food fit for a King', the hint is in the name. I live in North Manchester and have been a returning customer for 15 years. The sweet and sour, satay, curry, black bean, noodle and vermicelli dishes are bang on the buck for texture, flavour and consistency. Put simply, DELICIOUS. You must try the 'Salt & Pepper Chips', it is out of this world. (Meaning, this is the only place I have never needed to say that there wasn't enough flavour to what the spuds say on the tin.

Really enjoyed my food, I had the beef in black bean sauce & it was gorgeous, think I will become a regular. I found staff to be really friendly and food ready quickly.

Worth travelling from Eccles on a weekly basis to go to one of the best chippies locally. Highly recommend the beef satay, a classic that is hard to get right! Also the salt and pepper chips are just perfect! Efficient service and friendly staff
