TheMeal was a absolute Joke, The special chow mein came in Two Containers, these containers were half the size of normal containers and the containers were only half filled, the container with the so called Vegetable's and meat was a joke, There were two king prawns, two small pieces of beef, two small of pork, and one piece of small chicken, 4 half’s of mushrooms and one sweetcorn and the rest was mainly onions, these had clearly been counted into the half full container, the boiled Rice is the smallest container I have ever seen, this was certainly not value for money and I would never go here again,

Regular have a Chinese from here always have been nice, had one last night, the beef in both the beef curry and the beef and mushrooms was inedible. Reluctant to have another meal from here.

Just had the Crispy Beef with Egg Fried Rice (Paid extra because of the rise in the price of eggs!). The Beef was all gristle and inedible (it went in the bin) and I got plain Fried Rice NOT Egg Fried Rice that cost extra. Complete RIP OFF.

I returned after 29yrs and their food is still delicious! Only criticism is they don’t deliver. We’re in the 21st century for goodness sake I can’t understand why you don’t want people to enjoy your food.

Great little chinese, they dont deliver and they put marrowfat peas in the curry, easy fix collect it yourself and ask to have it without peas. Fantastic takeaway and has now become our Chinese, like alot of people when you find a good Chinese then that's the one always use, we found ours.

We have used this take away for years and wouldnt go anywhere else have tried other places but this is the best in Telford by far. Best chips amd salt and pepper chicken .

We've been here a few times for takeaway. It's really good. They put marrowfat peas in the curry! They don't deliver. This estate takeaway has been here for years and years, I think its the same owner! Really nice food, well priced and good portion size. Will return

We have used this takeaway for 40 years and never, I repeat, never have we had bad food; the food is cooked to perfection and plenty of it for a very reasonable price. This is a family run business, passed down through generations and the standard in all areas is as good now as it was 40 years ago. Excellent!!!

I've never really used this Chinese much but it's close by so I decided to go get something to eat, the special chow mein was awful, the noodles were greasy and tasteless, the actual chow mein was watery, flavourless, hardly any veg or meat, prawns looked uncooked..... just dreadful, only saving grace was the prawn toast but anything deep fried tastes nice and they are probably bought in anyway. Never go there again.

As a family we have had takeaway from here for several year's. The food has always been excellent, and at a competitive price. We generally phone to place an order and it's ready for collection in ten to fifteen minutes.

Out of all the Chinese take aways I have tried in Telford, this is by far the best, the food is cooked promptly and is always piping hot and prepared to the highest standard. This food is good value for money.

Have used Golden City for many years and always been our take away of choice. We noticed over the last year the food has not been the same and quite bland / undercooked chips. This seems to have been rectified and the food is once again tasty (particularly enjoy chicken curry and they do best chow mein I've tasted) it is always piping hot with quick and friendly service :)

This is the best take away we have every had, food deliousiious and with REAL meat and chicken. They cater for people who have allergies It is an amazing takeaway

Quick service and very nice food. I'm not a huge Chinese food fan, but I do love their chicken chow mien and prawn toast. I'd eat it every Friday night if I knew it wouldn't make me put on weight :)

Don't get many Chinese takeaways but this was one of the best I have ever had. Really tasty. Fast service and very hot food.

Phoned this place up gave them my order. they replied with a order number told them what time I would be there. Picked my food got home. Food was piping hot. Even though it's a take away food wasn't dripping in oil. The battered balls...

Ordered a takeaway recently from this place having heard good place to go. Ordered by phone and was told 10 minutes and was given a number.Food was ready on time which was promising. Food was ok but I was disappointed with the rice that came with the curry. It was a very small container and expected more quantity for the price.Plenty of other ingredients but would say an average meal on the whole.

Slumped a little over the last few years,but now appears on the up and up. Above average food with many choices reasonable prices good service friendly staff'Duck in a plum sauce is very good if not exceptional.All sweet and sour dishes with a good tasty sauce not like some of the wishy-washy sauces you get from some establishments. Now the minus points 1.shut on tuesdays,2shuts@23.15 most nights,3 no delivery service, this must surely change with the new competition opening in the surrounding area
