It's a Cantonese food take away. The picture needs updating.

Food I cannot fault at all. But when I order at 6.48pm and then have to wait until 8.40pm for the food to be delivered I think that is unreasonable, and for the restaurant to say we ordered at 7.15pm which we blatantly did not is just not the best customer service. Will not use again because of the delay, lack of communication and being told they left at 8pm and then to take 40 minutes for a 15 to 20 minute journey at most. A shame because the food itself was actually very nice.

Ordered from here twice so far and hasn’t disappointed. Great tasting and quality food at a very reasonable price. Now our go to Chinese.

Have to be honest 1 star is only for delivery ordered on just eat told 6.45 well it arrived at 6.30, so we'll done on fast deliver and driver friendly so cannot fault Now the food. Chicken an sweet corn soup. Tastless and watery, ❌️ won't order that again Chicken chow main, literally noodles with a ton of onions like 2 different types , tiny bits of meat, no taste and just smelt of spring onions ❌️ Mixed batter balls not bad taste and crispy. Sweet an sour sauce watery Satay sauce that actually had a kick Spend £40+ could of atleast chucked in pawn crackers Won't be one I'll re order from. Think I'll go to my usual next time

Ordered take away which arrived after 1hr 15mins. The food was horrible. The chips were dry and not crisp, same with battered Chicken. The beef curry did not taste right. I rang to complain about the quality of food and was quite shocked by the rudeness of the person I spoke too. After explaining issues with the food his reply was "We'll what do you want me to do about it?". I explained that I expected a refund for 2 of the 4 items we ordered but was told that they don't issue refunds. I was also informed that no one else had complained and therefore didn't even receive an acceptable apology. The person I spoke too couldn't have cared less and didn't even offer to replace the food. I think once they have your money then nothing else matters. This is a shame, we have had previous take aways from them with no problem but we will not be using them again following this experience and their total lack of care for the customer and the food they serve.

Their salt and chilli chicken is the best I've found in Telford!

I had a home delivery. The timing was good and the food was absolutely delicious. The Singapore fried rice had just enough spice and the Cantonese chicken was amazing.

Was recommended to use by a friend, have used a few times now and food is always 10/10 staff very polite easy to order on their website

Waited 2 hrs for no food and a load of excuses down the phone to why its not been delivered will not be using this place again rude w@#&@

Top guys in there. Always have a laugh with their delivery drivers too. Food is great, and always makes me want to go back

When I arrived to collect my order earlier this evening I was criticised by the person behind the counter for "always being late" ... This is so ironic because when I arrived "late" 2 weeks ago, I had to wait 10 minutes because my order wasn't ready!!! Come on Fortune Cooking ... respect your customers :(

Waited hour longer than said won’t use again

Awful. My crispy aromatic duck arrived luke warm and looked like cat food. Rang the restaurant and they were rude and unhelpful.

Brilliant food, generous portion sizes and great customer service. Initially left our chips out the order, but got them swiftly to our door, hot.

So a rare and happy takeaway experience here in sunny Telford. I have been a loyal customer of Hong Kong City for the last 12 years but lately there standards have taken a tumble but the price has taken the a massive upwards journey, with this in mind on Friday 03/06/23 I thought I would give Fortune Cooking a try. So the verdict? Very good experience, ordered for collection, food ready and very hot on my collection, nice greeting and friendly guys on reception. The food was very tasty and they are not afraid to use spies, "SPICE APEARS TO BE THE ENIMY IN BLAND FOOD TELFORD" I should also mention only ordered 2 dishes but nearly £5 cheaper than my usual takeaway and much better quality. Please keep up these high standards and you will keep my and my Family's custom for many years.

Brilliant customer service, very polite and fast delivery. Food is amazing as always lots of meat, Price is reasonable .If you want a great meal and have plenty left over I'd recommend to anyone. Great great food!!!!

Absolutely rubbish placed an order at 7:50 on Uber eats and delivery was meant to be between 8:35-8:55 order never received and when tried to contact the line was busy from 9:10 until 9:50 and they close at 9:50 won’t be ordering again

Trying to get through to change my delivery address for the past 10 minutes and the line is constantly busy. Paid for my food online so don’t be happy if I’m not going to receive what I’ve paid for

Last 2 orders extremely late and cold . Such a shame as was possibly the best chinese since jimmy wok. 2 hours late tonight....come on guys get it sorted you have so much potential if you get the delivery side sorted.

Amazing! The best ribs I’ve EVER tasted! We had the mixed platter for two, 10 sweet and sour chicken balls and a bbq sauce. The platter was immensely delicious and great value for money! The ribs were massive and tasted like they came straight off a grill! Juicy as hell and the meat fell off the bone! Crispy sea weed is the best in Telford too! Sweet and sour balls have got to be the best quality chicken I’ve seen in batter balls in years and I’ve tried soooo many Chinese take outs in Telford. This place goes to the top of my list. Crispy seaweed in the sharing platter was also tasty and not many places do it in Telford. Plus all delivered in half an hour! Can’t wait till we get to order again! YOUVE GOT TO TRY THIS PLACE!

Warm up food said they would refund us but then don't order again how does that help?! Do not order from here

The only issue with this place is that it's too good that we end up collecting food several nights a week and we're devastated when we realise it's a Monday night. Perfect everytime.

Food was ok but shredded beef come was just small bits of batter covered in grease no meat in them just crumbles into dust only giving this review as when we phoned to tell them they got RUDE over the phone and refused to replace or refund the money back and hung up on me and kept hanging up NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE

Tasty from here but nearly £5 for salt n pepper chips!! At least put plenty of seasoning on them plzzz.... Rice is tiny small tray compared to every other Chinese...come on don't be tight hey... expensive delivery also

Ordered take-away recently and we loved the sweet and sour chicken -- crispy and flavored just right. We also ordered the vegetable chop suey, which was also great (could use a bit more seasoning though) and cooked just right.

Always great food and delivery is quick. Very easy to order and pay online. You can collect too.

Omg what can I say. The beef in the chowmein was amazing and so tender and my pancake roll was the best I have ever tasted. Very happy is a understatement

We always have a take away from here most weeks ! But last not dinner was not great ! From salted chicken to rice chips and curry sauce was cold and not great! We have never had a bad meal ! But last night was NOT great !! sorry to write a review but needs saying

Food is always fresh and hot. Staff who work there is friendly, kind, nice and helpful. Great communication from the restaurant.

Ordered a meal from this restaurant for a long time and they must of changed owners because they have left the most important bit of the meal out of the order phoned them up for the missing part of the order and all I got was we haven't the time to send the missing part in fact we not even going to order a thing from them again .So be aware that if you have the same problem as we did don't expect the missing part to be delivered and still waiting for the refund of the missing food don't order rip off

Ordered here as my local Chinese was closed and what a waste of 18 pound,the pancake roll was disgusting and tasted burnt and the prawn crackers were all like a dirty yellow colour and tasted vile.definately would NOT recommend and only gave 1 star because can't write a review other wise

Ordered food never arrived at alloted time. 7.40pm. Tried calling restaurant 60+ times no one answering. Then 2 hrs later 9.40pm the delivery man called asking if we still wanted the order. Saying they had made the driver call all those that had been made to wait with no correspondence. Totally disgusting behaviour from them. Will never use again

After 2.5 hours waiting for deliver drive down to find my order still not in kitchen had to drive down as they would not answer phone. Loads of others calling with the same complaint.

Sadly in the last couple of months this has gone downhill. Food is always late and arrives cold and portions are not as they said they would be.

2 hours to deliver cold food and missing chips. Called to complain and they said they were busy. Really? How is that my fault and don't lie when I call to find out where my delivery is to be told its on its way. 20 minutes later it arrived

Had meal 2 weeks ago and was really pleased, tonight ordered due to visitors, what a disgrace, food came 2 hours after ordering, freezing cold and half missing, call the place to be told sorry we are busy, so the tip of the day to u guys, stop being greedy and take much work on and deliver poor quality to customers,absolutely disgusting, they will give me a discount on next order, i dont think so wont be cominb back 😪😪

Ordered a duck curry and received a chicken curry. Chicken balls so crispy they couldn't be cut, and one had no chicken in! Didn't bother ringing to request a replacement as delivery took over an hour and I was hungry!

Food arrived late and the food was cold and the chips were soggy. The first time we had used them was ok, but was disappointed with the quailty of the food on this occassion.

Me and my family love our chinese take aways, we have tried alot in the telford area. Some have been good, some have been ok. BUT all 5 of us agree fortune is amazing. The food is amazing, my daughter is a little fussy yet they still dont mind. Great food

Understand how busy you are, especially given current circumstances, but answer the phone! I've tried to call 25 times in the 3 hours since ordered. Nothing more annoying than ringing for an update and no one answers then ringing again and the phone is engaged. Clearly ignoring incoming calls to avoid awkward conversations. Good food, but that service level is awful, and most people would be understanding.

The chicken fried rice barely had any chicken and it was over cooked. The chicken balls were better and the chips but the chicken fried rice let it down.

Order arrived an hour late. I accept they may have been busy but they shouldn’t have given an unrealistic delivery time! When it did eventually arrive the order was completely wrong. Pork and duck fried rice was pork and chicken and pork balls were also chicken. Unable to contact them and when messaged via just eat, I was ignored. Not the first time I’ve had problems with this place. Avoid!

Restaurant grade food as not only is it a takeaway but is actually a restaurant. Tasty.

Not good, perhaps we were just unlucky. We ordered a takeaway quite early on a Friday - 5:00pm (Beef with Mushroom, Roast Pork Fried Rice, Dry Ribs, Salt, Pepper and Chilli Chicken Wings, Chips the same. First, hardly any garnish (chilli's onions etc.) with the Chicken Wings or Chips. Chips were very soggy. Wings were battered and deep fried, ok I guess but greasy. Ribs were ok other than one which was almost pure fat. Rice was good. Beef with Mushroom - amongst the the worst I have ever had, some of the pieces of meat had a brown jelly round it - set gravy as it were, as if it was from yesterday. We will not be using this restaurant / takeaway again.

Well, once again I decided to visit this classic, illustrious Oakengates based Chinese takeaway and restaurant!! And once again I was overwhelmed by the experience The food, the staff, the service, all just excellent. But nothing more than I have come to expect. But whilst I was eating, I became very aware at the amount of people visiting the takeaway element of this impressive business But what became even more impressive, as I sat there eating, what was probably the largest portion of Fillet Steak Cantonese style I have ever had, was the subtle soft tone of the delivery machine, continually on the go. The delivery aspect of this establishment was clearly as successful as the takeaway, giving the wonderful restaurant a good run for its money. In essence, an all round wonderful Chinese Restaurant Well worth a visit!!

Authentic Chef and Owner from Hong Kong. Nice person, ambience and foods. Forgot to take picture of the foods but recommend the fired rice and noodles, also the Chicken Wings.

Went on Saturday with grandchildren The prices are so high we only had starter No main meal there was 4 adults 6 children under 7 the bill was 110 pounds always went when buffet very disappointed glad we never ordered anything else far to expensive Very disappointed

New restaurant (& takeaway) from the oldest Hong Kong Cantonese cooking family in Telford, simply cannot be beaten
