Golden Cake Shop 2 Granny's in Birmingham

They’ve increased their prices and when u want a specific selection, flavour, or toppings they try to deter u from it with some bad excuses like “oh it’ll melt.” Guess they don’t want to invest the time into doing extra. Customer service was terrible, they seemed illiterate, and poorly trained. Charged £5 extra for a specific colour as well. They will try to sell you pre-made cakes at all costs regardless of what you request. Honestly disappointed as the was for a special event, small sizes and extortionate prices. Avoid.

High prices for small cakes. Bad customer service will try to sell you ready made cakes regardless of requests. They try to excuse flavours or toppings you want.

Ordered a baby shark cake for my one year old and these guys delivered it no problem, it was better than I imagined and it tasted amazing. 10 out of 10 would use these guys again. See attached pic of the cake. Experience was stress free from start to finish and even some recommendations were given. Fantastic.

Been to this shop for birthday cakes many times and the shop manager is very good and open to ideas about designing cakes. I we t here for my wedding cake also and went with a 3 tier with a simple but elegant design. Best eggless cakes in Birmingham.

Amazing cake designed just for me. The owner Pawan listened to what I wanted and helped design a 3 layered cake that was perfect for a queen. He also gave advice on how to improve the design and flavour combinations. The cakes were loved by everyone. We had 3 tiers with different flavours, strawberry, chocolate and mango. The cakes were moist and delicious. Will definitely go back for our next function for another amazing cake which is reasonably priced.

Thank you Granny's Cake Shop, on Rookery Rd Handsworth. Next door to Rookery Rd Post Office. I ordered 2, 10" cakes. Both were decorated to perfection. We had no cake left over as they were that delicious. Shall definitely be buying again from here and would recommend others.

Awesome cake and such a friendly services. They heard what I wanted and suggested me their best options. They have lot more variety of cake designs than any other high street cake shop and tasted so good specially with “mango flavour “. Wasn’t sure about it when ordered but everyone loved it. I bought cake on christmas eve..it was very dry and not fresh. Although,Before ordering we called them and they said that shop is going to close in half an hour but you can pick up the cake in 20 mins. When we got it its sponge was so dry and felt like its 2 days old. When we made a complain they just said that no it was freshly made and if you will buy again then we will give you fresh.it costed me 25 pounds,obviously will never buy again. Wouldnt recommend this shop.All money wasted.
