This takeaway was amazing. I ordered a chicken chow mein , chips and a curry sauce. The food was hot and delicious. I would DEFINITELY recommend coming. The staff were very nice and friendly. Delivery was on time. If your to tired to make food, this is your best option.

Just tried it for first time . Nice and hot food . Noodles with shrimps was really good. In portion was enough shrimps , that’s really nice . BBQ ribs was also tasty . Definitely will buy again.

We thought we'd try yhe Golden boat as the reviews were good I placed a phone order for delivery was told an hour after an hour 25 minutes I rang up I was told straight away its on it way with in 5 mins it did arrive it looked really nice but it was cold

They say they don't deliver to SO postcodes despite not specifying that on online copy of brochure (we're literally a mile down the road). Won't be giving them my custom now even when I'm able to come in and collect.

I ordered a mushroom omelette with chips and satay sauce last night ,which all ended up in the bin .The chips were so hard the mushrooms were spongey and the sauce was so sweet . I have been using this Chinese for over 25 yes now and have never had any complaints but this was totally disgusting, it will be a long time before I order again, hope to hear from you soon

What has happened to their food? We usually love this place, but our last takeaway was awful. Food tasted, shall we say, strange. I am not blaming the restaurant for the fact that my wife exhibited all the symptoms of food poisoning during the next 24 hours. Simply because I have no evidence Did I complain later? No - absolutely no time on my busiest month. Writing this purely because it was requested.

We have been going there for some time and always very nice,, but tonight it was horrible the mushroom fried rice was tasteless and the pancake roll was just full of bean sprouts such a disappointment tonight......

Best chinese I've eaten In years we have never found a chinese that could compete with our old local but this tops it! Sweet and sour Hong Kong is beautiful, wasn't so keen on the chicken curry. I'd recommend anyone to give them a go :-)

Just been delivered honestly the worst Chinese meal ever, Hong Kong sweet and sour chicken, h had four pieces of chicken the rest was raw veg ,House special rice, stodgy and unedible the chip were missing I rang and was told the delivery driver would bring me £2.40 back for the missing chips, An absolute joke. I just read your reply and at no point during the conversation was I offered a replacement meal , I also am not in the habit of complaining without good reason

I work at BMJV Site M27 Junction 11 and they always deliver a great meal that tastes great as well, no matter what options I pick from their menu. I would also add it is excellent customer service as well as value for money. Recommend this place to everyone.

Favourite Chinese ever without fail

The worst chinese I've ever had, I got 2 king prawns and 3 wafer thin slices of pork in a house special fried rice and no chicken and the bbq spare ribs were tough as leather, I'm a chef and it was far from value for money. The fried rice I expect cost less than a pound to make so I would imagine there making 90% gp

Chicken was dry and cooked in a dirty pan had bits on it. Duck in blackbean sauce was horrible. Prawn balls were doughy and the sweet and sour sauce was just sweet.

Entered shop at 10.45pm and ordered vegetable Singapore noodles and and Chicken fried rice got home to find my order was incorrect and found to my horror they had given me a prawn one instead.

First time to try this place and it is absolutely great. Very well cooked and quick service and One of the best Chinese takeway we had.

The worst take away meal ever. I ordered lemon chicken, however there wasn’t a hint of lemon flavour to it just sweet sickly pineapple. I wouldn’t buy from there again.

Takes a while to get through on the phone (called several times) at one point phone was answered but nobody at the other end. Food was good and hot. Haven't used here in a long time but will be back in future.

The food here is very nice; but sometimes you have to wait awhile for it to be delivered, the new menu is out and the prices have gone up quite abit, also now you have to order more than £18 for free delivery,(with in 3 miles) it was £15

Had waited over 2hrs for food to be delivered, called up the shop who said it had been dispatched. Only for them to call back 15 mins later admitting they lied and they had lost the ticket! So over 2hr 30 mins wait and no food! Will continue to use Cantoon express instead!

Havnt used this take-away for some time as it had gone downhill. As we understand it is now under new management, we thought we would give it another try. Food was delicious, piping hot and very fresh. Very friendly service so we shall certainly use it again.
