This is the best Chinese around. The food is cooked perfectly. Only thing that let's it down is the nasty delivery driver. Growling and shouting at female customers he delivers to. Would recommend getting a male to answer the door as driver is agressive

Food was dry no taste won't be using again . Could well have been reheated food from previous day

Been using for years but having a takeaway tonite was terrible,waste of £30!phoned up to be told ring Sunday when owner in 🙄

I am a regular customer and was absolutely shocked and disappointed with my order tonight. The woman got my order wrong and when I called up to try and resolve it she was extremely rude to me and started shouting at me in Chinese. I requested to speak to the Manager and after 10 minutes of the Woman arguing with me she eventually put me on the phone with the Manager. The delivery driver bought out the correct dish after waiting for an hour and when he did the food was freezing cold and badly cooked. I am very disappointed with the customer service, the quality of food and the disrespect that they showed a valuable loyal customer. Needless to say I will not be ordering from this place again!!!

Very poor service told them Chicken didn’t taste right very chewy smelled funny never ordering from this place every again women on the phone didn’t care hole pot of chicken is wasted! For her to treat a customer like this was disgusting

Went home from work. Got there about 10:30. Ordered a curry and rice, just to get home with hardly any curry sauce. Was like the tide had gone out… Won’t be using them again.

Have had many meals .they are excellent and always hot .

I ordered my menu for delivery. It was awfull i could not even chew the food it was tough and hard. I ràng the shop and the young girl just said i tried some all ok she would not listen never will order again

Food arrived after 1hr 10 minutes, the food was cold and was missing items. Phoned them up and took over 35minutes to send out the missing items. What a joke.

A great meal enjoyed by 6 of us . Everything freshly cooked and delivered quickly . Definitely using again

Another rubbish Chinese in Portsmouth. Food was tasteless and bland. I specifically asked for a dish without nuts (Kung po king prawn) and received extra nuts! I called to tell them what I had received and their answer was you can wait an hour for another or take credit on the account. The prawns were also soft and soggy probably frozen and defrosted. - expect a few days off after eating from here. Won't be returning for our credit! Luckily we didn't have a nut allergy!

Ordered a takeaway yesterday and when it turned up had items missing and the food quality was extremely poor will not use again

Quite simply the best Chinese in Hampshire. I have pretty much tried them all during lockdown. Definitely 5 star experience every time. Great staff, and nice freebies. They have all the usual dishes, but cooked to a higher standard than I've had elsewhere. And they also have a nice range of more unusual dishes, all well worth trying. Don't miss out and give them a go!!! I'm reading through the reviews in disbelief. Whatever problems they may have had in the past surely have been resolved. Have been using once a week since lockdown started, and never experienced anything other than pure joy!!!!!!!!

Great takeaway, will use again! Try the spicy chicken (number 60 on the menu!!). And if that's not the best thing you ever tasted, try the spicy king prawn (59) !!

Always a Great tasting takeaway with great service

Wow, that really was the WORST Chinese meal i have ever eaten in my entire life. we all had a mix of about 7 different dishes and every dish was absolutely dreadful. The chicken, was awful, the egg fried rice, was boiled mess, n everything tasted bland, and what was not bland tasted dreadful. what i have eaten is repeating on me and making me feel extremely sick. Stay away

I love it so much , there food is always hot when it’s delivered, it’s always taste amazing and I have never had another Chinese from anywhere else . I defo recommend it .

2 hours wait. Stone cold food. Rude service. Even got a customer to talk to me on phone who was so common and lairy trying to threaten me. Worst Chinese ever.

I’m the manager of Golden Boat, we just set up our Facebook page and posted pictures of our kitchen and 4 star food hygiene rates. I’m so sorry and sad letting our customers keep thinking our food is prepared under poor conditions.

Just read about this place on the news website about how it got shut down last year due to raw food above cooked and a dirty kitchen

Been using these for years but the last year poor service. Every other order wrong even forgotton on one occasion. Have given up complaining and now using a new takeaway. Shame as the food was good

So fussy about having a Chinese again after a bad experience,food was outstanding and cooked to perfection and I must say the portions were lovely and big like myself lol. Will definitely make sure I will never stop ordering from here until my doctor tells me so. Thankyou to you all. Brilliant x

Used these guys for years, always tidy chinese, may wait a bit for delivery but worth it

Called them tonight as I always use golden boat, me and a few mates having a few beers and decides to get a chinese I recommended golden boat cause they're usually spot on besides the delivery times can be long. Tonight I wish that was our only issue, I call them no answer multiple times assuming they're busy i leave it for 10 minutes, call them back again to someone answering the phone trying to be funny with some stupid remarks then hung up. Won't be using them again as their are plenty of other Chinese restaurants in the area. Sort your staff out.

not a bad Chinese bit of a wait for delivery

Food is always good but delivery can be a really long time......just drove past their restaurant and it was empty, phoned for a delivery and was told an hour to hour15 which is totally unacceptable so we cancelled and ordered from chip shop got it in 30 mins! They have kept us waiting before so be warned!
