It’s a great location shame about the quality of the food and it’s luke warm temperature Visited on Friday evening and was expecting a little better to be honest

Firstly the owner and the staff are very nice and work with a smile the owner actually takes time to come and speak to you making sure everything is okay. The food is amazing and at a reasonable price the drinks are a reasonable price too. I live 30 to 45 minutes away but don’t mind the drive to eat here.

Very clean restaurant, parking is ok outside the restaurant if lucky. Lovely view of the seafront during daylight. Food is very nice and fresh. Some dishes are slightly salty. Service is good but room for improvement and table could be dress better as well for the extra service charge.

Cute little Chinese on eastern Esplanade. Offering a great variety of Chinese food. Their staff are extremely friendly, helpful and warm. Had a great meal here with friends very reasonably priced

Fell in love with this place. The ordering system is clear and helpful, the service is attentive, the whole place is super clean and the value is amazing. Food is the stuff of dreams; everything is just that little bit fresher, that little bit tastier than everywhere else. Like their satay sauce; rather than just the bland peanut butter stuff you get everywhere else this is beautifully smooth with just the right amount of heat to it. And everything is like that, just taking everything up to the next level. Can’t wait to go back.

Third visit! Valentines this time and they did not disappoint! Fantastic music as always and amazing food, always something new to try, even with a gluten allergy. Definitely more but so to come!

We have passed Gold Coast over the years and always fancied trying it out. Last night my wife and I finally booked a table which was the last one and were so happy that we did. The staff were friendly, the food was brought out quick and they made us feel very welcome. The food was very well presented it was hot, there was plenty and it tasted amazing!! I would highly recommend eating at Gold Coast and we will definitely be travelling up from Romford with family more often! Thanks to everyone at Gold Coast for a lovely welcome and evening.

After not visiting this restaurant for well over a year. Myself & my husband wanted a Chinese so revisited and were not disappointed. Really good food.

Been here loads but I’m afraid in my opinion it’s gone downhill. I found the food to all be of very poor quality, covered in sweet sauces not very hot and certainly not tasty. The meats were cheap, boiled, tasteless and chewy. Favour was minimal. The price has gone up and this meal is no way value for money for what you get. The restaurant was very cold. The staff were efficient and friendly and are always nice but I’m afraid I didn’t enjoy the experience at all and on this basis I don’t think we will be visiting again

Ordered a take away for dinner, have used this place for years, last few times have noticed a drastic decline in food quality, today was the worst yet, I ordered lamb & it was so chewy it was tasteless & inedible, under half a bag of chips which tasted stale, such a shame won’t be returning as it’s the most expensive in the area!

I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food is always excellent and great value for money. I feel really angry and disappointed. The price actually paid not the same as menu.The roast duck show in menu is £13, we think it’s acceptable, so we ordered it, but finally requested us to pay £16, we asked why it’s expensive than the menu, they said the duck is from Cantonese, so it’s more expensive. oh my god! !We just need the one from menu, we didn’t requested a duck from Cantonese! ! This behavior seriously deceived consumers.What’s even more outrageous, 2 bowl of rice costs £8.5, this is the most expensive rice I’ve even eaten. Service charges us 10%is kind of acceptable. So 3 dishes cost us nearly £80, It’s really expensive, I will never come here again and will also tell all my friends of the bad experience. The price in menu is not clear and it’s different from the actual price. We ordered “Roast duck in Cantonese style”, it shows £13 in menu, but when we paid the bill, it’s £16.
