Godfather's Pizza in East Staffordshire

Crap food. crap customer service. Shocking that they didn’t care I was allergic to tomato and rude and racist

So, how to start. Food ordered 2 x pizzas. 70 min delivery time (that’s long!), time rolls past and no pizza….pizza arrives and fries missing…..ask delivery driver “where’s the fries?”, delivery driver gets cross! Both pizzas warm not hot. Call driver back who gets cross, call pizza place that say we’re getting refund. Put pizza in the oven. Two mins later knock on door, cash refund for fries. Take pizza out the oven and it’s….absolutely the bollocks! It’s genuinely the best pizza I’ve had in the Burton area. I’ve had pizza from every pizza place from etwall to derby and these guys do it better than all in the area. Will definitely be ordering again, will put oven on before they arrive and not bother about sides!

Ordered piza’s from here based on passed experience…. We were staying at a local Hotel and asked if they deliver…. No problem they said… So they deliver and don’t take card so I pay with cash and immediately the driver/ delivery man says I’m giving him fake notes. Well I’m obviously not … fake notes … really???. It was the way the man says it , without skipping a heartbeat… fake notes they are… I goes inside , sees the receptionist, she rolls her eyes at him , she marks them with her pen and surprise surprise , there real… Cheeky scammer doesn’t give me my change though. Sorry Godfather, your driver just lost you a customer that buys a family order once a month … lll tell the next man too… hey ho …

Mouldy cheesecake! As a regular loyal customer, I was very disappointed to receive our delivery order. The order was correct and delivered before the scheduled time, however on closer inspection to our food, the individual cheesecake was covered in blue mould all over the cream! It was visible without even opening the wrapping. The best before sticker on the back was still in date but I wonder if it had been stored correctly especially with the recent warm temperatures. I called Godfathers Pizza and they apologised.. I’ve insisted on a full refund, which was delivered by the manager along with a full apology, assurance that the batch of cheesecakes had been disposed of and a free dessert.

Just had this delivered and it has to be the worst I have ever had, next to nothing on the top and what was there was burnt, it was late and they blamed Ramadan

I phoned to put my order in last night at the Burton on Trent branch and it was all going fine I gave him my card details and he told me it had declined twice ( I explained this keeps happening) so I offered to give him my other card details, he then told me we don't deliver to your village, even though we order from there frequently. I asked to speak to the manager for him to then tell me he is the manager, he certainly in my eyes was know manager he was to unprofessional, rude and didn't have any clue as to what he was even doing inches job roll. He refused to give me his name or a place for me to complain to. if anybody can advise me on whom I can complain to it will be much appreciated as I was treated with absolute know respect and was all dealt with unprofessionally!

Pizza had very low amount of toppings, and despite 3 pizzas paid for 2 of the free ones (as per buy one get one free offer) were not delivered. Contact them to explain, was fobbed off with lies - when we have already ordered before with no issues! Don't take your regular customers as idiots and rip them off.

I use godfathers all the time and they’re always great. Sometimes wait time can be long if busy but still good food and great value for money.

We ordered take away from here via Just-Eat. It didn't arrive for 3 hours after chasing several times and when it did arrive the pizza was cold, the cheese had congealed on top and the base was soggy. We only ate one slice each and the rest went in the bin. When we phoned to complain we were hung up on.

Nice big black hair in it cost me 20 pounds had 2 slices had 2 go in bin rank not happy I shall not be using them again

Paid by carded they lied about it being delivered and refused to sort it out so robbed my money and 2 hours later no food

I have been going here for years there pizzas are tasty and they have always turned them round quickly for me. I have never had a problem with them being in friendly and they usual round down to the closest £ for me on top of it being 2 for 1. What’s not to like?

Godfather I found was a brilliant place to go and get quick pizza! We order an original cheese pizza and it was beautiful! The portions size was massive for the price so we got our money’s worth! Will definitely go again.

Wrong pizza given, when called they said they would bring another within the hour still not here after 2 hours so called again who told us it was our fault and we couldn't get the right pizza or our money back!! Gone down hill.

Zero customer service skills. We ordered over the phone volunteered to collect due to the lengthy delivery time reconfirmed our order in the store before leaving get home to find the pizza is incorrect in fact both were. Call up to state this to be told we are liars on the phone and that the pizzas are correct. We have someone who has an allergy so could not have a tomato pizza base meaning we have paid for pizzas we could not eat! And instead say we can have £8 off next time but of course we are lying. Well that’s no use as we will not ever return to a disgusting establishment with the pizzas look like they’ve been made by a child and inedible anyway. I will be passing this on to all I know in the area and through my business to ensure these go out of business. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I would give them a minus figure out of 5 if this was an option.

Nice amount of spit on both of the pizzas I ordered. They didn't even try and hide it. I think this was because I had to phone up twice because I was waiting hours for my pizza. I have been warned about them spitting on food many times before

Ordered 2 pizzas to be told it would be an hour! An hour and half later still no pizza! When it finally turned up it was the wrong pizza! After calling back they said they would send another out but would take 45 mins I accepted this as my kids had been fed so I could wait abit longer! But no this wasn’t the case I had a missed call and a voice message saying I wouldn’t be recieving another pizza as they believed they had delivered the right one! Absolutely disgraceful service and also you need to get staff that actually work for you not just a random guy you have called up to deliver the pizza! Your customer service is shocking! We won’t be ordering from you again

So basically me and the galssss ordered food & when it finally came the Pepsi’s were mouldy so we called up n he tried telling us it was frozen when it clearly wasn’t because it was like jelly !!!The garlic bread was DRY and burnt and the pizza didn’t taste nice I’m Sure most of the ingredients were out of date WE WILL NOT BE ORDERING HERE AGAIN

Waited 3 hours for pizza got through 4 times each time said it was on its way when it never even left the depo so basically lied don’t tell you the reason why was late then make you pay for it and are rude

Had a takeaway delivered and spent over £25 when arrived the ingredients were off they refused to refund and refused to replace . Very rude and unhelpful staff and extremely poor customer service

Ordered a couple of pizzas which were delicious- best I’ve tasted compared to other local takeaways. Always a bit dubious about ordering chicken from takeaway places as I find it’s usually greasy or tough/dry, however we ordered the chicken wings from godfathers and they were very tasty, lots of meat on them and not at all greasy. Fast delivery! Will definitely use again soon.

Having not eaten from here for a couple of years thought I'd give it a go again. Pizza, garlic bread, chicken dippers and chips were all great. They were not shy with the pizza toppings and as a result they tasted great. Dont understand why this place has the rating it does because I know many people who order from here

Am quite surprised to read such poor reviews about Godfather Pizza. We order from here at least once a month. We like the pizzas from this takeaway because unlike some of the other takeaways in the area, these pizzas aren’t overly greasy and the pizzas toppings are very generous. The deals are good value and when we have had the food delivered, although sometimes it is a little late, the food is always hot. Will continue to order from here in the future, surprised about the other scathing reviews!

Llamó, mi orden, dije que iba a ser hora. Había pasado una hora, así que les llamé y me dijeron que en 10 minutos. Sólo me preguntó por qué había un retraso en la entrega y poner el teléfono abajo en mí. 20 minutos más tarde, todavía no ha llegado. Así que me llamó otra vez, dijo que tiene a la izquierda. Finalmente conseguir entregado, nos preguntamos por qué era tan tarde la respuesta conductor el chico en el teléfono estaba mintiendo. Gracias por esa información que no se esté utilizando.

NEVER HAVE I EVER RECEIVED SUCH A LOW/POOR/DISGUSTING LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND QUALITY OF FOOD. We waited 2 and half hours for 2 medium pizzas that were chosen off of the menu with no irregular requests and were told it would take 30 minutes. An hour after ordering I phoned to see where the food was as it haven't arrived, they said it was on its way. Another 30 minutes passed and the food still hadn't arrived so I called back and they told me they had forgotten about our order and that they would make it straight away and it would be with us in 20 minutes. So after another hour had passed the food finally arrived, both pizzas cold and stale, I asked the delivery man to take them back and I wanted my money back, yet he laughed and smiled and so I asked what was funny and if he thought this was acceptable service only for him to laugh and walk away. NEVER USING THIS TAKE AWAY AGAIN! PIZZA AND SERVICE WERE BOTH DISGUSTING!!!!!

Orden tardó 1 horas en llegar. El topping en la pizza eran un poco quemado en medio de ella. Parte de la orden que faltaba, así que tuve que ser redelivered. La peor parte es el hombre entrega se rompió nuestro timbre pulsando repetidamente a pesar de lo difícil de ver nos viene a la puerta. Traté de quejarme, pero "el propietario" no se ha molestado en ponerse en contacto y el director dice que no puedo hacer nada. No utilice!!

BOGOF - what can you expect? Not eaten a pizza from here since I turned 30, grew up and valued my inner organs! Tasty when intoxicated - regretful the next day. Hence mine and my ex room mates nickname for this pizza!
