GoBong in Islington

Amazing local spot for when I fancy eating lunch out. Really fast service for delicious food. More of a casual dining experience than somewhere you would go for a meal out with friends. You can get food to go from here too.

This place is an absolute gem. It is by far the best Korean food in London. I have been to a few others, including the well known chain with nice interiors, and none of them compare to this. The food is always fresh, tasty and generous. It is more of a tiny lunch- place, so it's more a "sit, eat, and go" event, (unless you came later in the evening or afternoon), and unfortunately they aren't open during the weekend, so you will have to find a way to go and visit them during the week. If you go during lunch, you might need to either order to take away, or resign yourself to eating in close proximity to a crowd of hungry art students (as it is popular with the nearby Archway campus CSM students). All of which is worth the food, especially the bibimbap.

Fantastic little takeaway serving really great Korean food. I was on a course and needed a quick lunch and came across GoBong and I'm glad I did. The food is made fresh and served very quickly. Everything you need for lunch

Delicious fast food; great KFC and inferno wasn’t too hot! Enjoyed the Bimibap with crispy veg and fiery kimchi. Good portions and great value. Lovely service as well!
