We arranged a visit to Glebe Farm, having been there before, to meet family travelling from the Southport area for breakfast. The four of us went into the cafe and asked a member of staff if she had a table for 7 people. She pointed at the table in the far right corner and said “ You can have that one”. As we sat down another member of staff came over with the breakfast menu. I asked what time they served breakfast to be told 11:30. I said that we would probably want 7 large full English breakfasts but would call the three other family members to confirm. The time was 11:25 . A female waitress, who seemed to be in charge, walked over to the table, collected the breakfast menus and literally threw the lunch time menus, skimming them across the table. To say that she was extremely rude would be an understatement. She said “ You’re too late for breakfast, you will have to have something from the other menu” as she stormed back to the counter. And stare over at our table with a look of disgust It would appear that she is obviously on a one woman crusade to damage the reputation of what was once a fantastic cafe. We walked out of the cafe, waited for the remainder of our family to arrive and drove to the Bleeding Wolf whereby we ordered 7 fantastic main course meals that were served in a lovely atmosphere by welcoming staff. I will not be going to eat at Glebe Farm anytime soon.

Visited today as a group of 7 (3 adults, 3 young children and a baby) as a cheap couple of hours out for the kids at the end of a very expensive 6 weeks, planning to have a few coffees, ice creams, feed the animals and take a tractor ride along with letting the kids play on the park. Took picnic food with us to keep costs down and to feed the kids and sit at the benches that we have done many times before. However this time we were greeted by a lady (unsure if a busy body or an actual member of staff) pointing out a (new?) Sign stating that "only food purchased on the property can be consumed" there. After telling the lady that it's ridiculous and that it'd never been an issue before she walked away. We carried on eating regardless and then continued about our day with the kids. However we certainly won't return if in the midst of a cost of living crisis, they'd rather lose visitors completely than just allow people to have picnics in the name of greed. It'd have cost upwards of £50 for the 7 of us to purchase what is probably frozen processed mostly inedible food from the cafe! Probably explains why the place was dead!

Great that you can feed the animals and most of them looked well looked after. However, the meerkat and rabbit enclosures did not look suitable and made me concerned for their welfare. The meerkats didn’t have any fresh air and it was sooooo tiny. Idk why there are meerkats on a farm. The rabbit also looked lonely as they’re social creatures and it was alone. It didn’t have any toys or chew things which are so important for both enrichment and for their teeth. It looked bored. Obviously I’m not there all the time though and only saw a small glimpse into the animals’ lives, but I left with an uneasy feeling.

We love coming to Glebe farm with our toddlers, feeding the animals with their own little buckets of food, and playing on the playground. Today however we were enjoying your Cart d'Or ice cream when my little boy fell off the bench and dropped the whole cone which went splat onto the floor! Great little place. Free entry and £1 (coin) for tub of feed to feed the animals. Enjoyed feeding goats, ponies, etc. Lovely display by the peacock. And saw meerkats, birds, and the cutest pig. Take care - some animals are labelled not to feed, but you can feed most of them. Good little farm shop with meat and veg to buy. Also selections of jars and beer, though less than last time we came. Then there are all the little quirky shops, my favourite being the crystal/rock shop - bought a beautiful owl necklace there today for only a tenner. There is a café too, though we didn't try that. And ice cream, including vegan options which is important. Definitely worth a visit to Glebe Farm. Highly recommended 💜

The butchers at this farm seem to be a miserable lot and are really put out if you go there to buy more than a few items for your freezer. They will actually complain to your face that you didn't phone in advance with your order! The farm itself is lovely, you can get a bucket of food for £1 and feed the animals. The enclosures are a little on the small side but the animals get lots of attention and are very friendly. The aviary is absolutely gorgeous. We paid to go in the sensory session which was run by a lovely welcoming lady who was so accommodating and really good with my son who has additional needs. We had lunch in the cafe. I hadn’t seen the sign that you should wait to be seated and there was nobody there to greet us so I chose a table for our group and sat down. After I’d sat down and moved the used pots to the end of the table a lady came over and very abruptly said “THERES A SIGN TO WAIT TO BE SEATED” I immediately apologised and said I hadn’t seen it and offered to move. She replied “How many is it for?” There were only 2 of us at the time but we were waiting for 3 more otherwise obviously I wouldn’t have sat on a big table. We ordered food and then my son’s meal wasn’t right. I explained at the counter that we had asked for fish fingers and were given nuggets instead. Only to be told I was wrong and I asked for nuggets. When I repeated again that I hadn’t she told me I had. No apology, no offer to change it so my son had the nuggets instead of what he had actually asked for. I’ve given 3 stars because of the rude, abrupt and to be quite honest unkind staff in the cafe. I wouldn’t eat there again but would visit the farm.

We come here throughout the year to feed the animals with the kids and generally it's good/ nice farm. We booked the Christmas train this year so the kids could see santa. It wasn't great, if anything it was quite poor value for money. Santa wasn't great, the train is very small and it's a working farm so unless your wearing the appropriate footwear you will have to buy new trainers on your way home. We won't book the Christmas event again, shame really as I'm not sure if they genuinely tried or it was just an opportunity to cash in on the season.

What's a better way to introduce children to a farm environment than through one that has free entry? Carrots and animal feed are available from the shop for £1 each and you can feed most of the animals here apart from the Shetland pony and pig. There's also highland cattle, alpacas, meerkats, goats and donkeys. More unexpectedly found are meerkats saved from a van. Tractor trailer rides are £1 per person (babies go free with prams and pushchairs welcome aboard) with contactless being accepted.

The track is soooo short it’s literally a small hill!! Not even round a field, or the farm couple of minutes uo a hill sit at the top of the hill for 5 minutes and come back down! Absolutely disgusting and seriously overpriced.. robbery and taking advantage of children. Very wrong for the length of time.. even the children are disappointed and can’t believe how short it is… but the money is outrageous! Spoils the whole day tbh!!

Went for brunch on our way back home, I chose the full English, and the better half chose the pair of staffordshire oatcakes. The quality of the food was outstanding, and I openly admit to being a food snob, but there was nothing I didn't love about it. I sampled the bosses oatcakes (professional standards, honest) and again was impressed. The quality of the raw materials was quite evident, but the price was reasonable, under 20 quid with a pot of tea each. I will go there again, it's a lovely setting with really pleasant staff. I even left a tip, which surprised me as normally I'm as tight as a ducks arse.

Firstly it's important to remember that Glebe Farm costs nothing to enter. We visited mid week during the Easter Holidays, so the place was really busy. There was plenty of parking but whilst the road around the carpark was hard standing, some parts were very muddy. Nothing to complain about as it's a working farm, but a consideration in terms of footwear. Our 6 year old loved the animals, there was a good selection of goats, sheep, birds and alpacas to feed and you can purchase food for only £1. There is a good selection of animals that children will enjoy seeing and feeding (animal feed available for £1) as well as several shops and a newly updated park. The staff are friendly and welcoming in my experience. Definitely worth a visit. The only downside is general maintenance. On my most recent visit (Jan 23), the carpark was in a shocking state with huge potholes and muddy puddles everywhere. Also, one of the animal fences was damaged meaning that area was unused. Hopefully this is something that is looked at soon as they are clearly investing in the farm to make it nice for families.

Small number of animals and a play area suitable for under fives. We bought some meat from the butcher's and it was amazing.

What a fabulous place this is for all ages to visit and enjoy something. They have farm animals that you can feed, donkeys in the paddock. Farm shops selling fresh meat & fish, hairdressers, car detailing shop, ladies dress shop, gift shop and many more. There is also a superb cafe there where you can sit and enjoy the views of everything around you & it has lots of choice. Highly recommended

First time visiting, it's a great family day out, my daughter was happy to see some farm animals and to feed them. There is a cafe, and an ice-cream stall, so delicious.

The animals were lovely, tents were there selling items, little go carts and tractor rides were available. Really enjoyed ourselves.

My review is based solely on going to Glebe farm to let the children play on the park, say hello to the farm animals and nip into the shop for some biscuits or cake. People complain that the shop is expensive, yet are happy to let their children play and pet for free.. these places have to make a living some how! So I have no idea how they have the cheek to complain 🙂 we love visiting this little farm because it is a small - not overly large and complicated place that is easy access and perfect to just nip to on any day we are free or even when just driving past! We come during the weekdays when it is quieter mostly. We have purchased from the butchers once - just a stir fry pack of which could have been a little bit more spicy but overall lovely and the servers were very happy, all with smiles on their faces and happy to chat. Our most recent visit was today, which my girls really enjoyed thanks to a lovely lady who brought a lamb out and knelt down to their level so that they could stroke her. Thank you, you really made my girls day! The only worry I have for this place is the amount of people that I see feeding the shetland pony that clearly has a written sign across his gate stating 'DO NOT FEED' due to him having lami.. yet people (adults amazingly) continue to feed and allow their children to feed him. I've seen him have apples, carrots, grass nuts etc. This will make him so poorly, yet people continue to be ignorant. Hopefully you could maybe put him a little more out of reach, so that people cannot continue to feed him.

Finally revisited after a long time & ordered my usual meatballs & my friend had a halloumi baguette. They take card payments now, which they didn't use to pre-pandemic & the waiter was a tad snarky when we asked if they did. Food was served quickly & freshly-made. The meatballs could do with more seasoning & the side salad wasn't the best, but the chips were nice, hot & crisp. Overall, Konak hasn't changed much. It's still a popular place for lunch.

Good selection on menu, food very tasty and plenty of it and reasonably priced, service was just right not rushed. All the waiters very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Restaurant isn't huge so it got very busy, it would be a good idea to book a table so as not to be disappointed.
