We deliberately didn't take lunch with is as we know that's not allowed! Went to cafe which was all open, signs out, etc decided what to have and then was, quite rudely, told kitchen was shut! At 2.30pm??!! No explanation, no alternative. Very poor!! Would not recommend or return!!

A bit conflicted on this place - don’t get me wrong it’s lovely with a nice variety of kid friendly activities and shops. It’s just that I’d far prefer the butchers and deli to be on the High Street. As it is they are both decent places to get good meat, local beer and spirits and for a more quality orientated shop. Butcher’s can get you most things with notice - personally I’d like a bit more variety as a walk-up customer but understand their constraints.

My Husband and I visited on 17.04.25. What an excellent place to visit. The farm animals were all so friendly. We had lunch in the cafe. I can honestly say the food was amazing especially the steak pie. We also brought steaks from the butchers shop. Admitted we thought they we a bit expensive, but I have to say the were amazing. Definitely we will visited again Well Done Glebe Farm

It was a fabulous place to visit, and our granddaughter loved it. It's free entry and everything was reasonably priced inside. We bought feed bags, which were only £1 each, with which to feed the various farm animals. There's a little playground for children, we took a tractor ride around the farm(only £1 each again)and there's plenty of little shops there too. It's incredibly good value and a lovely trip out for children.

Animals are cute, the animal food is reasonable price the livestock at the front of the farm are well groomed and clean ones in the back paddocks might as well be roaming free for all the attention they appear to have. shop is a bit of a mixed bag some products reasonably priced even more are very expensive usually the local companies who think they have a premium product. Love the small independent stores Cafe your met with a wait here sign and staff will seat you unfortunately no staff available to do that the café is very expensive with poor customer service the footfall was steady and the females behind the counter looked to be struggling you expect this at major attractions not so at the local farm shop especially when they encourage people to do fitness sessions on site. That said cafe was busy with families who where making regular return trips. It's popular place but not with me.

Gorgeous farm. Lovely and friendly staff especially the young girl working with the animals. Great organisation and I loved the independent shops and the little park. My only grunt would be the policies and or young staff member at the cafe who wouldn't let me eat my £10 oatcakes outside with a proper knife and fork who then became quite disturbed that I was busy with my toddler and didn't collect my hot drink in her precise time 😂.

Great place for all animal lovers especially kids, lots of animal feed available for £1 at the machine, i even had some to give away. It was a nice surprise to see 2 meerkat and 2 peacocks! The only improvements I would suggest is to give the animals more space or let them into other areas to roam in the day. Also it would be good to have a poultry feed machine so we can feed the geese, ducks and chickens etc.

I've been going to Glebe farm for a couple of years now with my young children and it improves every time we come. There is a good selection of animals that children will enjoy seeing and feeding (animal feed available for £1) as well as several shops and a newly updated park. The staff are friendly and welcoming in my experience. Definitely worth a visit. The only downside is general maintenance. On my most recent visit (Jan 23), the carpark was in a shocking state with huge potholes and muddy puddles everywhere. Also, one of the animal fences was damaged meaning that area was unused. Hopefully this is something that is looked at soon as they are clearly investing in the farm to make it nice for families.

We arranged a visit to Glebe Farm, having been there before, to meet family travelling from the Southport area for breakfast. The four of us went into the cafe and asked a member of staff if she had a table for 7 people. She pointed at the table in the far right corner and said “ You can have that one”. As we sat down another member of staff came over with the breakfast menu. I asked what time they served breakfast to be told 11:30. I said that we would probably want 7 large full English breakfasts but would call the three other family members to confirm. The time was 11:25 . A female waitress, who seemed to be in charge, walked over to the table, collected the breakfast menus and literally threw the lunch time menus, skimming them across the table. To say that she was extremely rude would be an understatement. She said “ You’re too late for breakfast, you will have to have something from the other menu” as she stormed back to the counter. And stare over at our table with a look of disgust It would appear that she is obviously on a one woman crusade to damage the reputation of what was once a fantastic cafe. We walked out of the cafe, waited for the remainder of our family to arrive and drove to the Bleeding Wolf whereby we ordered 7 fantastic main course meals that were served in a lovely atmosphere by welcoming staff. I will not be going to eat at Glebe Farm anytime soon.

Visited today as a group of 7 (3 adults, 3 young children and a baby) as a cheap couple of hours out for the kids at the end of a very expensive 6 weeks, planning to have a few coffees, ice creams, feed the animals and take a tractor ride along with letting the kids play on the park. Took picnic food with us to keep costs down and to feed the kids and sit at the benches that we have done many times before. However this time we were greeted by a lady (unsure if a busy body or an actual member of staff) pointing out a (new?) Sign stating that "only food purchased on the property can be consumed" there. After telling the lady that it's ridiculous and that it'd never been an issue before she walked away. We carried on eating regardless and then continued about our day with the kids. However we certainly won't return if in the midst of a cost of living crisis, they'd rather lose visitors completely than just allow people to have picnics in the name of greed. It'd have cost upwards of £50 for the 7 of us to purchase what is probably frozen processed mostly inedible food from the cafe! Probably explains why the place was dead!

Great that you can feed the animals and most of them looked well looked after. However, the meerkat and rabbit enclosures did not look suitable and made me concerned for their welfare. The meerkats didn’t have any fresh air and it was sooooo tiny. Idk why there are meerkats on a farm. The rabbit also looked lonely as they’re social creatures and it was alone. It didn’t have any toys or chew things which are so important for both enrichment and for their teeth. It looked bored. Obviously I’m not there all the time though and only saw a small glimpse into the animals’ lives, but I left with an uneasy feeling.

The farm itself is lovely, you can get a bucket of food for £1 and feed the animals. The enclosures are a little on the small side but the animals get lots of attention and are very friendly. The aviary is absolutely gorgeous. We paid to go in the sensory session which was run by a lovely welcoming lady who was so accommodating and really good with my son who has additional needs. We had lunch in the cafe. I hadn’t seen the sign that you should wait to be seated and there was nobody there to greet us so I chose a table for our group and sat down. After I’d sat down and moved the used pots to the end of the table a lady came over and very abruptly said “THERES A SIGN TO WAIT TO BE SEATED” I immediately apologised and said I hadn’t seen it and offered to move. She replied “How many is it for?” There were only 2 of us at the time but we were waiting for 3 more otherwise obviously I wouldn’t have sat on a big table. We ordered food and then my son’s meal wasn’t right. I explained at the counter that we had asked for fish fingers and were given nuggets instead. Only to be told I was wrong and I asked for nuggets. When I repeated again that I hadn’t she told me I had. No apology, no offer to change it so my son had the nuggets instead of what he had actually asked for. I’ve given 3 stars because of the rude, abrupt and to be quite honest unkind staff in the cafe. I wouldn’t eat there again but would visit the farm.

We come here throughout the year to feed the animals with the kids and generally it's good/ nice farm. We booked the Christmas train this year so the kids could see santa. It wasn't great, if anything it was quite poor value for money. Santa wasn't great, the train is very small and it's a working farm so unless your wearing the appropriate footwear you will have to buy new trainers on your way home. We won't book the Christmas event again, shame really as I'm not sure if they genuinely tried or it was just an opportunity to cash in on the season.

What's a better way to introduce children to a farm environment than through one that has free entry? Carrots and animal feed are available from the shop for £1 each and you can feed most of the animals here apart from the Shetland pony and pig. There's also highland cattle, alpacas, meerkats, goats and donkeys. More unexpectedly found are meerkats saved from a van. Tractor trailer rides are £1 per person (babies go free with prams and pushchairs welcome aboard) with contactless being accepted.

The quality of the food was outstanding, and I openly admit to being a food snob, but there was nothing I didn't love about it. I sampled the bosses oatcakes (professional standards, honest) and again was impressed. The quality of the raw materials was quite evident, but the price was reasonable, under 20 quid with a pot of tea each. I will go there again, it's a lovely setting with really pleasant staff. I even left a tip, which surprised me as normally I'm as tight as a ducks arse.

One of the best places for us in Nantwich. With a 20% discount for over 65's, also one of the best value places in Nantwich too. Garden is lovely, atmosphere is great and food is excellent.

It’s difficult to find a decent place to eat when working in unfamiliar surroundings however that wasn’t the case today. I opted for the mini mixed grill and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the steak was cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend Cranford Cafe and will definitely call again next time I’m working in the area. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
