We had a really nice meal. the service was tip top and the staff were very friendly. One of the best places to dine

Stayed one night in mid-May 2025, 3rd floor room. Entry is vague - enter through the pub. No reception desk. Expensive, but I chose this for the location. No elevator; steep, narrow stairs. Room and shared bath were both clean. Roof leak at east entry bay.

Great food,but the wine list is expensive

"Dry" is the word that comes to mind after the breakfast today. I ordered the milk bread French toast and it was really dry and I needed to dunk in the jams provided to make it easier to eat. The same with the sachertotre, dry and crumbly, nothing like the actual one; looked like it was from a couple of days ago. Came reading all the reviews, but was left disappointed
