I see it is popular but I didn’t think the staff were friendly and the biggest let down was they refuse cash. I’m really sorry but spending cash should be an absolute right enshrined in law. The coffee was adequate but nothing special.

Great atmosphere & nice menu but our toasties took ages to come. I wouldn’t mind if they’d been made from scratch but they came out of a tub in the fridge 🤣 They were delicious and it wouldn’t stop me coming back again but it would stop me visiting if I was in a hurry! 😊

This coffee house serves fantastic coffee and certainly isn’t just for cyclists as other reviews have stated. It would compare favourably to Australian style coffee shops which have totally transformed the market away from the usual chains. My only gripe would be it seems the staff are unable to smile - shame. But doesn’t ruin the experience!

What a wonderful cycle cafe catering to the cycling and non-cycling community alike! Unusual in its desire to create a community rather than focus on shifting tonnes of coffee, mass produced cakes, and ciabattas! There are even regular coffee tasting evenings, cocktail evenings with a DJ and interesting talks held at the cafe in the evenings! They have even opened up a lovely new outside space, and garden for people to enjoy the sunshine! This must have taken years to get permissions and approval - testament to the owners unrelenting desire to create a community. Jordan and his wonderful team are passionate, knowledgeable and caring. What more could you ask for in a cafe! The coffee is sublime! You will come here for the coffee, you will return again and again for the people. It's truly a magical place.

The location cannot be faulted and a great concept for passing cyclists. Not being one myself though. Not a busy morning with more than 3 people serving. Limited menu. I opted for a sourdough toast with avocado, espresso and a juice. Headed outside and waited. Friendly other customers but the staff just seemed annoyed. After a good 15 mins I enquired as to where my toast was and was told tercly that it would come out when it was ready... no apology... then I noticed the juice glass had a huge crack in it. I returned this inside for a replacement. Again no apology.

Visited this Saturday for a late lunch, although the food took a while to come, it was fresh, tasty and delicious. Sadly despite not having that many customers, the noise level marred our visit. The sport channel on the TV was blaring, as was the separate music system. We asked for one of them to be turned down or off, but the staff were unable or unwilling to do anything. (It wasn't easy to hear what their excuse was.) We moved to the back upper level of this cafe, so that we could at least hear each other. Our server was clearly glad to see us leave. Its a great place for deaf cyclists, but I wouldn't return.

Looking for an early morning coffee in Esher I decided against the many coffee shop chains in the High Street and tried out Giro. An excellent flat white and a very well cooked bacon+brioche bun was the perfect pit stop on a journey from Sussex into London. The restaurant is on the LH side of the main street going North towards Sandown, and at the northern end of the street. You will recognise it by the cycle racks outside, and it seems to be popular with cyclists as the back of the café area has a range of cyclist clothing. The main café area has a mix of tables, armchairs and sofas, and felt warm and friendly as I opened the door. The two owners reinforced that feeling. Coffees, wines and refreshments are elegantly written up at the back of the serving area. The array of cakes looked excellent. Can't think why you would want to try anywhere else!

The space is well designed and layer out with a mix of seating with a cycle clothing shop in the back. The photographs on the wall are gallery standard - I am not kidding! Ironically, I don't drink coffee but they have a lovely selection of herbal tea and my nephews love their hot chocolate (milk, white or dark). This is a well-positioned coffee shop on the High St in Esher which, as its name suggests, is somewhat oriented towards cyclists and the cycling community. It's a meeting point and moreover a coffee stop for such. The coffee was good enough and the place has a pretty decent ambience with a few seats outside for those guarding their precious carbon. For two not particularly large coffees I thought north of £5 was a bit strong, particularly as cyclists don't really like carrying shrapnel around.

Husband recommended this place so I thought I would check it out when walking past.Had an amazingly smooth cold drip coffee with gorgeous cake - can't believe it took me 3 months to try out. I will be back very soon!

Great coffee shop / cafe in Esher. I have become a coffee snob over the years and Giro does it right. Great vibe with cyclists, friends and families using this as a place to relax and hang out. Staff has always been a treat too.

Great coffee, atmosphere and food - a cafe of choice for cyclists (and non-cyclists) in the area, and quite possibly the best cycling cafe in and around London.

Coffee is just THE best, wraps are delicious and the cakes are utterly mouthwatering. Complimentary water on the tables is a nice touch.

Just moved to the UK from Chicago... Great place any time of day. Cappuccino is excellent and the food is a pleasant surprise for a small coffee house. Have turned my morning favorite into an any time of the day favorite. Indoor parking for bikes is just an added benefit!

Popped in on a busy Saturday afternoon. Nice atmosphere and coffee. Only minor niggle was with the paninis we ordered - we were asked if we wanted accompanying salad, which I assumed was complimentary. It turned out to be just a handful of rocket leaves and balsamic vinegar. Only £1.50 extra but on top of a £4 panini, it felt a bit stingy.

We returned here for coffee this morning with our friends who live in Esher and the flat white coffee is just as good as first time round - indeed we enjoyed it so much that we broke our normal rule and had a second one! This place is as much heaven for coffee enthusiasts as it clearly is for cyclists.

Have been coming here since it opened. Fantastic location and place to have a great cup of coffee. Not too expensive in comparison to the 'chains' and has a very loyal following of cyclists and others. It caters for all. Food is great and so is the service. Highly recommended

I had a bit late breakfast I don't mind to pay £10-15 but the eggs was under cooked.. maybe they was in rush, but customers pay for , toast still soft no crispy at all, so I don't recommend this for breakfast just for coffees.
