Whatever you do - take sandwiches, eat your partner’s ear , starve but do not eat here .I am sure dog food tastes better than the ‘meat feast’ I was served as it was utterly foul.I was really hungry as was an early flight ,slept a little late , no breakfast so ordered here but could not eat more than 2 mouthfuls- utterly shocking!

Just had a yummy bowl of naked burrito and it was just right! Very clean and tidy, rapid food and pleasant staff. Would visit again. The bowls are just right for good lunch before flight. 2x lunches and two drinks for £24 very good value at airport.

Very expensive very small portions menu items not available AFTER paying and then a major Faff to get your money back. Food then delivered 30 minutes later (only a burger by the way) and it was stone cold. Manager either had serious trouble understanding me or was being deliberately difficult. Hard to tell which. Seriously disappointed with my worst ever giraffe experience. Avoid.

Had a drink and a snack at the you are having a Giraffe cafe at Southend airport before our flight. A reasonable selection of snacks at airport prices but the most off putting thing was seeing bacon and sausage baps waiting to be re-heated for consumption, most off putting. However the café was relaxed at the time(mid-morning) and there was no pressure to move you on.

Churchend, Rochford, EssexI have been here 3 times since it was reopened and the food never ceases to amaze me. A great chef, I must say. As for the staff, they were very friendly and welcoming. A lovely place for a drink and a chat but if you do go please try the food as you will not be disappointed. I have read other reviews and some people have said it's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

71 West StreetLow ceilings and beams. Not the most ebullient of welcomes and lots of mumbling. The menu is impressive, lots of choice. I ordered the Chicken, Ham and Leek pie and the wife ordered the Steak and Ale pie. The shortcrust pastry on both pies was dry. There was something odd tasting about the mash. Couldn't put my finger on it. It was lunch, it was ok for a pit stop but I wouldn't rush back.

93 Southend RoadReally sad this place has gone downhill! from tonights experience I will never return I have enjoyed this place over the years but tonight absolutely appalled from the quality of the food and the size of the portions were disappointing considering it was meant ti be the larger option. generally shocked at the state of the food the chicken was equivalent of tinned boiled chicken no flavour at all and when asked how our meals are and we responded that they was actually not very nice and small we was just quickly told sorry about that then the waiter just scurried off without saying anything more
