Giraffe in Crawley

Lovely place with a great variety of breakfasts. We found the staff were attentive and extremely hard working. Ellie served us and we found her to be efficient and friendly.

We had a great lunch today and DENISA looked after us she was so amazing! They seemed busy and short staffed but regardless she took care of us 100% ! Very polite and professional lady ! Food great too ! Second time we ate here always good ! Thanks

Not too good now, food bland and cold just like air fryer food from Iceland. Very small menu and service slow even on an empty night

A very friendly waitress called Dasha greeted us, seated us and took our order. We chose fish and chips and were impressed by the quality of the batter and freshness of the fish, as well as the mushy peas and tartare sauce served alongside. For a meal cooked and served so promptly it was really well presented and delicious. Our waitress checked at intervals that we had everything we needed and were happy with the food and stressed that we had only to ask her if we needed anything. Full marks for service and food alike

I travel through Gatwick often and I love to have breakfast or dinner at Giraffe. The menu items are interesting, the service is quick and the staff are usually very attentive. I want to keep coming here however for the last couple of years the menu has been the same. Please refresh your items and perhaps consider specials.

Wasn’t looking for a big meal it just appealed to me . From the gentleman out front who led you to a table then was seated me at a table where a friendly young lady helped me choose a meal to my liking! Meal was brought out very quickly & once again the same young lass was so very polite & helpful. Watched other tables being served & once again watched them give same attention ! Very impressed with staff& I enjoyed my meal I can remember.

Not the best service in the world, however the food came quite quickly. I ordered ribs, the ribs are probably the largest portion size I have ever encountered, easily enough for two and they were tasty as well. No room left for desert. In summary service was slow but the food was tasty.

Food was well prepared and tasted great, exalted turn around for each course is 10 mins. Cocktails available although limited dessert options. Would eat here again.

Terrible service from the manager. Ordered the Christmas Cuban, came limp, undercooked with 1 slice of turkey, no gravy Mayo and no gherkins. Went ask for gherkins to be told they were on the bottom of the sandwich, even trying to point them out but nope definitely no gherkins under this pile of crap you call a sandwich!

Dined here as 2 couples. Seated easily even though looked quite busy. Had classic burger on a brioche bun, caesar salad ( which has an Argentinian rib on top as friend decided had too much on plare) . Argentinian ribs and an all day breakfast. Washed down with 2 peronis 1 gin and tonic and a white wine and lemonade splitzer. Meals were filling and well presented. Served quickly by friendly servers Will be back on our next stop at Gatwick. Thank you.

Food and ambience were pretty good and reasonably priced. Staff were pretty helpful as well. Can get crowded during peak hours but regardless, I still got my food very quickly.

I ate here with the family while passing through Gatwick recently. I try to avoid eating in airports wherever I can but it was necessary this time. I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of food on offer and the speed of service.

The food was sensational , only surpassed by the service We had the pancakes with bacon and maple and the breakfast sandwich. Both were fabulous and served really quickly. We had a luggage trolley and were readily accommodated by the friendly staff. We stayed for over 4 hours due to flight delays. The staff were so friendly Highly recommend

Food and service have declined since our last visit 8 months ago, The waiter seemed drugged and was dancing all over the place, and of course got our simple order wrong and missed one person's order completely. The food was smaller portions and not as fresh as we have had in the past

First visit to Giraffe, staff so welcoming and friendly. Very quick service, good selection of dishes at slightly high prices. Food beautifully prepared and presented but very small portions even if you don’t have a big appetite. I was still hungry after my main course. Nice experience but not good value for money sally.

Always a favourite place when stopping off at Gatwick. Really nice food and super friendly staff. We love it!

Ordered steak with measly fries and something described as a salad garnish, followed by apple crumble. 18 hours later I was diving to the WC. Despite imodium, lower eruptions continued for 2 days. Not properly recovered until day 4. A ghastly start to a week's break on the sun. Luckily the holiday hotel was a mini paradise, so life could have been worse. It was the only meal in which my wife and I had chosen different options in the 24 hours prior to the first eruption. I will never, repeat never, eat in a Giraffe resturant again. Had I remained in the UK I would have sent a sample to Public Health England for analysis.

I visited here a year or more ago and the waiter paid little attention to my food intolerances and delivered food that had to be sent back and replaced - by which time the rest of my colleagues at the table had finished eating. Terrible experience and embarrassing. HOWEVER, on this visit, Paulo was the total opposite. Listened, communicated and delivered. All with a smile and a friendly attitude. Made me feel comfortable and at ease. Fabulous service. He is a credit to the brand. Thank you, Paulo!
