i went there and was served by the lovely female i think her name was sehran. she was very nice and helpful and i enjoyed her service. i can tell the shop was very busy but despite that she didnt fail to make my experience memorable. the food really did meet my expectations and blew my mind. the overall experience was amazing and i would recommend this shop for anyone looking for good desert and quality service. the girl serving me NEEDS A RAISE NOW!!!

Today, I had the pleasure of visiting Gioia, where we were warmly welcomed with exceptional hospitality. My family felt completely at ease in the friendly and inviting atmosphere. The customer service was outstanding, and the seating arrangements were very comfortable. We visited with my autistic brother upon special request, and the Manager went above and beyond to provide us with prompt and attentive service, which truly made our experience memorable. The desserts, especially the Brownie Bomb, brownie custard, and waffles, were absolutely delicious, and the Blue Hawai mojito is undoubtedly one of their standout offerings. Overall, I would rate both the food and service a perfect 10/10!🤩

Gioia Parlour is a dessert lover’s paradise! I tried the Ferrero Classica and the Biscoff Cheesecake, and both were absolutely incredible. The Ferrero Classica was rich, creamy, and full of hazelnut flavor—pure indulgence. The Biscoff Cheesecake was a perfect balance of sweetness and spice, with a smooth, velvety texture that melted in my mouth. The presentation was stunning, and the atmosphere of the parlour is cozy and inviting. If you’re looking for a place that serves desserts as delicious as they are beautiful, Gioia Parlour is the spot!

One of the worst place to have a milkshake went there today with some friends for the first time ordered a milkshake and the milkshake had a very sour milk taste, took one sip and gave it back after leaving they still had the guts to charge me for the milkshake even though they made it with bad milk, then staff argued by saying she tasted it and saying it taste fine, this place is only good for the decoration. If you want a quality milkshake and service go to shake house it is much cheaper they are so good that the have a franchise even in Dubai. Will definitely won’t be coming back here again

Good selection of desserts and tasty flavours and and composition along with a nice aesthetic dining area. The good food is unfortunately ruined by terrible order taking/following. I have ordered/collected from here over 10 times and 5-6 times something has been wrong with the order. That is an awful record to have. I'm not usually one to complain myself but when there are family members who are lactose intolerant or only like 1 particular flavour, this is not acceptable and especially not again and again and again and again and again and... I don't understand why it is so hard to just follow simple instructions the customer has asked for. I think I will have to stop ordering here because a free ice cream for repeatedly wrong orders is not going to make up for the disappointment multiple times when you end up with something you didn't want :( Sad as it is otherwise one of the better dessert parlours in Alum Rock.

The first thing that strikes you is the Instagram-worthy decor. The pink and blue dominated interior, complete with flower walls and neon signs. Nice seating outdoor as well with decking. The ice cream selection was a hit with the kids. Served in charming flower-shaped glass bowls, it's clear that presentation is as important as taste here. I opted for a mango milkshake, which was refreshing and flavorful. One small suggestion for improvement: a digital menu or a large, visible menu on the wall would be helpful for customers trying to decide on their orders. This would make the selection process smoother, especially during busy times. Just came in for cookie dough biscoff and oreo milkshake. Service was terrible took forever and served others before me. And I come home and see a hair In the icecream? I waited so long for the icecream and the girl wasn't wearing a hairnet either. Owners sitting at the front of the shop drinking tea and gossiping. Really un-professional. I will not be coming here again unfortunately. Cookie dough wasn't nice unfortunately. Milkshake was OK though. But very disappointed with my icecream. It's put me off completely

The staff are very nice and on their toes. They are ready for whatever you ask for and this is real customer service. Many dessert shops fake their pictures but the food tasted nicer than they displayed. The brownie explosion waffle was delicious I definitely recommend it for 2 people as it’s a special as well

Please don’t order from here. My sister when to the shop and ordered a Ferrero rocher waffle and two Ferrero milkshakes. Instead we got a kinder bueno waffle, and the shakes were horrible. I have had the milkshakes before and I am well aware of how disgusting they are, I don’t know why my sisters got their shakes when they knew they can’t make them properly. I phoned them to let them know they got my order wrong as I don’t eat kinder bueno and didn’t even like it when I tried it, instead the person who answered the phone was unhelpful and the manger was extremely rude, refusing to give me a refund for such horrible food that went in the bin, and informed me that they have a recipe that they follow like that would change the fact that it was disgusting. The manager refused to give me a refund and kept repeating that my sister should have been listening when the waitress took her order she apparently repeated it back to my sister. I’m not happy with this customer service, we spent £18 on food that went in the bin. please don’t order from here.

Best waffles croffles crepe and cookie dough to date eaten in birmingham 10/10 on quality n taste. Ice creams were also good. Never expected auvh high standard food on alum rock. Was reluctant to try but now after being there twice i know its the best

Very bad I would close it down nothing available on their menu came with my kids and everything we ordered which they wanted was not on their menu. They are kniw for the buffalo tea even that was not available.

Avoid! Ordered via Uber eats. Missed an item in my order, and when I called them up, they told me they put the waffle in 100% and it must have been the driver who took it. I checked the order with the driver and he definitely didn't know anything about the missing item. Poor customer service and after ordering from them several times over the last few weeks I will definitely not be ordering from them in the future!!! Very rude on the phone too!!

Delectable. Went for something basic for once, and did not regret it at all! Portion size is amazing, by far one of the best waffles I’ve had recently, very fresh and crispy. Loved it. Concrete cake and custard was scrumptious. Well priced, lovely ambience and good service. Very glad I visited, will be coming more often, really happy with the service.
