I found Gino's online when I looked for a cafe near where I was staying. I had a full English breakfast and a mug of tea. Now, this is not fine dining by any stretch of the imagination but everyone in Gino's was efficient, speedy and friendly. My breakfast was tasty and well cooked. My mug of tea was pretty decent, too. Everywhere was lovely and clean. Thank you for starting my day in such a good way.

First time finding this little gem of a cafe. Was just hidden down one of the backstreets but glad I found it! The staff in there are lovely, so happy and I was having a stressful day but they cheered me up. Don’t get me started with the food, was lovely as expected, so much choice aswell as fresh pasta they’ve made and put together. It’s not the boring plain pastas you get everywhere, it’s real Italian! Prices are not bad considering the high quality. Will be visiting again thanks guys :)

Found this little café by accident. It was empty and therefore felt able to socially distance. We weren't disappointed. Three lovely full English breakfasts. Good quality ingredients and very friendly and helpful staff. Coffee was great too, total bill was £22, which is great for central London. I will be back.

Stopped in for cappuccino ,which was good, and asked nicely ( he looked like the owner) if there was anything gluten free I could have with my coffee. It was met with a blank expression,a shrug of the shoulders ,no comment and turned his back. I should have left then! Drank my coffee, said goodbye and thanks ..............and was ignored. Central London and GF ignorant is just very poor .

Stumbled across this cafe whilst we were looking for somewhere to have a coffee and a cake. Whilst the cakes choices were limited the 2 they did have were our faves so that was a bonus! The coffee and hot chocolate were really good and it was warm enough for us to sit outside and watch the world go by for 15 minutes. If you're in the area then pop in. The takeaway sandwich options looked great and really fresh and the couple of pasta dishes we saw go by also looked really good.

Under new management and all staff cheerful and friendly. Prices have gone up a little, hot dishes now costing between £6 and £6.50 (extra 30p if eating in) and served quickly. There are a few small tables inside and a constant queue of office workers buying sandwiches to take away. My favourite is the lasagne which unfortunately sometimes sells out before I can get there late lunchtime. The new management has added a small side salad and serves a slightly larger portion of the lasagne than before. The only minus is that the salad dressing is made with vinegar, which I hate. Order and pay at the counter and they will tell you to find a seat. I try to find a seat at a table before I order, which isn't usually easy at lunchtime as it's so popular. There seem to be quite a few regulars, mostly men. I always try to eat here when in the area.

A constant small queue of customers at lunchtime, mostly buying sandwiches, and about half a dozen small tables, most occupied by single men. I saw a very well filled jacket potato going by as I waited a very short time for my meal. I was served a great lasagne for £5.70 + 30p to eat in. Although the portion was on the small side it was still much better value than I've had elsewhere in this area, particularly given the excellent flavour. This would have earned 5/5. Unfortunately, I then bought a sandwich to take away and later discovered the bread was stale! In over 30 years of daily sandwich buying in central London, this is a first. Not a first any sandwich bar wants to have but they MUST have known they were passing off stale bread. This would have earned them 1/5, so the average is 3/5.

I stumbled upon this place, not far from my hotel. Had their Full English Breakfast, which included coffee. Very reasonable for central London. Enjoyed meeting the couple who operated it—very pleasant. Coffee and meal were delicious. I heartily recommend it.

Great food and a really good price for the middle of Mayfair. Popped in for coffee and stayed for lunch. A friend and I had a sandwich and a bottle of water, £10.60 is a good price for the area. Really lovely staff, order your food, go take your seat and the food will be brought to you. Recommended.

My wife and I were staying at a hotel in London last week and although we were happy with the hotel we found that the price they were charging for breakfast was scandalous. We therefore decided to look for somewhere away from the hotel to have breakfast. During our search we came across Gino's on Welbeck St (just off Oxford St) and decided to eat there. We ordered a full English Breakfast each, at £4.90, which was less than half price of the hotel breakfast. It was cooked to order and the quality of the items used was very good. We enjoyed it very much. It's only a small café with a few table and chairs but my wife and I will certainly be eating there again when we visit London.
