Ginos in Edinburgh, City of

Siempre ha sido mejor chippy de lejos. Freidora y el personal son increíbles Pero destripados ante la terrible noticia de que la dirección ha decidido , no más embutidos de ternera (3 pequeños) ¡Ahora las salchichas pequeñas son de cerdo igual que las salchichas gigantes! Seguramente hay un mercado para ambos, ya que sé que no me gustan las salchichas de cerdo gigantes o pequeñas.

Solía ser un buen chippy no tan impresionado en estos días El servicio se ha deslizado colina abajo pescado insípido o pescado viejo de la entrega tardía única razón por la que puede ir de bien demasiado mal falta de respeto por los clientes no se volverá a pedir

I ordered an oven baked steak pie but was instead given a deep fried steak pie which was re-heated in the oven for 2 minutes. Despite the 2 minute re-heat the pastry was soggy and saturated in cold grease whilst the filling consisted of 2 small bits of gristle and a lot of gravy, it went straight into the bucket. I won't be back!!!!

I ordered a calzone from Gino's -Longstone. I simply asked for cheese and a little bit of pepperoni. What I received was a ham, mushroom and pepperoni with a hint of cheese. The ham was disgusting, cubed ham that was like jelly with a sickly sweet taste when cooked in the calzone. So if your order starts with 5 stars available for a review, for a calzone that basically should have 3 ingredients, pizza dough, cheese and pepperoni they managed to lose all 5 stars. I rate the calzone as a 0 (zero) Star rating. They lost a star for getting the order wrong, they lost a star for the addition of cheap cubed spam; lost another star for adding tinned mushroom; another star goes for the lack of cheese and finally, the last star goes since they say this calzone is freshly made and it was clearly out of a pack and they added 6 bits of pepperoni. My advice is don't ever buy calzone from Gino's -Longstone. I will move my business elsewhere in the future.

Absolutely horrid found a maggot in my fish and then my chips were not cooked properly and the meat in the fish was chewy and I ordered a spicy chicken pizza and the dough was raw!

Nunca tuve un problema con ellos. La comida es excelente, nunca he tenido que esperar mucho y no escatiman en porciones.

The staff are miserable people and the food is horrid - I ordered fish supper, single fried pizza, hamburger supper and it was mainly 90% batter, their was barely any meet, it looks and smells nice but what an absolute disappointment, but its the area I suppose

Good range with something for everyone. Friendly staff and order service is easy to use. Not to well known but worth trying

Decent little chip shop with nice and mostly kind staff members inside, and usual fast when you order for delivery

Has always been good. Reasonably prompt service and good portions. Quite a jump in price just recently though.... portions still the same though

Best fish and chips in Edinburgh in my opinion. Everything always freshly cooked and great value too.

This chippy makes fantastic pizza I can highly recommend this place and they have a loyalty card that gets a stamp every visit then you get £5 off your order

I've used Ginos for many years. Would recommend the chicken kebab! Friendly staff and quick service. Delivery times aren't too long either

I have used Ginos a good few times now when I have friends visiting for the weekend and cant be bothered cooking all the weekend. Coming from the West coast I honestly thought that Glasgow/Paisley had the best chippys there is, also stayed in Canterbury for 10 years ( they don't know what a chippy is savloy boak). Ginos is by far the best chippy ive ever had, even there kebabs are amazing, how does an Itia know how to cook a kebab lol. fish and chips, large portions and fab. Even when I order a battered smoke sausage supper I still get funny looks lol. Would you like salt and sauce wi that eh. Naw hen salt, vinegar and tomata sauce lol. Best chippy in Edinburgh by far.

Got a Ginos again as we do enjoy one. However the fish was extremely bland and tasteless. Quite cheap and flat tbh...not impressed at all and seems the standard is slipping :(

If wer ever getting a chippy tea we use Ginos. It's the cleanest and best chippy around. Reasonably priced and pretty good food and service too. The chicken wrap is particularly good ;)
