I had a burger and chips, which was actually very good, the chips were exceptional! Very reasonably priced too! My wife had the New York Panini, she also said it was excellent.

The place was amazing! No doubt about it. The man had very good service and was very attentive and friendly. Their food was delicious, I couldn’t put down the fork! The workers made me and my daughter feel very welcome while providing the best food we’ve had so far on our trip here. I definitely recommend eating here!!

This place is absolutely amazing. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and the food is even better. I visit London for work most weeks and it’s my go to for breakfast and lunch AND they sell irn bru which warms my Scottish heart. Give it a visit, you won’t be disappointed!

Needed a quick lunch and came across this place by chance. Sit down table service cafe for a very reasonable sum. No airs and graces just honest food. A big menu with lunch specials. A far better option than going in to a pub or standing in the street eating a sandwich. I will certainly add this to m regular eateries. I would imagine it could be busy at peak times.

I had a breakfast sandwich, bacon and egg. The sandwich was so good the bread was absolutely amazing, so soft. My friend had an English breakfast which I regret not getting because it was SO GOOD!! Little off the beaten path, but I cannot stress enough how amazing this place was went for breakfast, i ordered the English breakfast. It was a very generous portion and very DELICIOUS!!, the staff was super nice, had abreast selection of English and Italian foods for eat in it take away. I will go out of my way to come back here to eat again!

Gianni's is a little gem of a sandwich bar / café as a regular customer I have found that the food is always great quality and very tasty the staff have always been polite and accommodating as well .

We were looking for a good lunch spot, saw their sign and decided to give it a shot. Glad we did! I got a baked ham and cheese paninis, and my wife had the chicken. Both were great tasting. They are so large! We wished we had split one! Fast, friendly service. Judging from conversations, they have a lot of regulars. Great value as well.

Best lunch in SW1. Chicken, mozzarella, pancetta and sweet chilli sauce panini for £5.50 is my favourite, so tasty and such good value. Fast and friendly service. Legendary

The team pop in here most weeks for a lovely breakfast, when it comes to our orders nothing is straight from the menu “a little bit of this, a little bit of that and no ****”, nothing seems to phase the team and you get what you ordered all together at the same time. I will miss the place when I move on - I highly recommend this place but be patient it is getting popular for its breakfast which are without doubt wholesome and another very expensive.

I went to ginnis italian cafe on monday and i order a sandwish and look beautifull but the guy behind the counter his name is ricardos was vwry rude to the girl with the glasses ( pink ) i fell sorry for her the way he was talking to my wife is portugues and she tell me how rude he was im not gonna go there no more just because of him because he dont have any respect when i was there i could see the feelli g bad the way he talk

This is a small family run cafe and in my opinion is the best I have ever come across in London (I have worked all over London for over 20 years) the food is excellent the prices are very good the staff are wonderful. As I say I describe the place to friends as the best cafe in London.

I was looking at a large display and menu above .The guy behind the counter would not leave me to decide what I wanted .it was not busy .I was the only person waiting to order so I was not causing a que. Sarcastic comments from him while I was looking so in the end I just left and went into one of the other Italian cafes and got a very nice sandwich there.Shame as his food looked nice .he needs to lean to be patient and not get a laugh at other people's expense

Came a week back for sandwiches, now here for a sit down. Wouldn’t have come bss as bl if the sandwiches weren’t any good! Obviously they were, and the sit down didn’t let us down.Friendly quick service, lovely food, good value, will definitely make this my go to when nearby.

Nice independent cafe. Had a couple of hot drinks whilst waiting to meet my partner. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Could see that they had a lot of regular customers, which is always a positive.

This place was busy with locals so I assumed it would be good. We both had paninis mine with pastrami as the chicken escalope came with bacon, and my friend did have the chicken version. They were good. The cappuccinos were ok rather than great.

Entré en Giannis para tomar un café rápido, pero me atrajo el menú del desayuno y tuve un fabuloso plato de tocino, huevos, salchichas, frijoles, tomate, 2 rebanadas de tostadas de granero y una taza de té fuerte y encantadora. El ambiente era relajado y podía tomarme mi tiempo para leer el periódico. Tanto es así que me tomé un café y una rebanada de pan dulce que era encantador. Todo esto por poco más de 10. El restaurante estaba impecablemente limpio y el personal muy acogedor y amable. Muy recomendable.

Gianni's food is good and their lunchtime specials cater for meat eaters and vegetarians, beef pie to mushroom risotto. Breakfasts from 4.50 GBP but the charge was 6.50, the Astral Cafe is better value at 5.00 and the Regency Cafe again charges 6.50. Egg, sausage, toms, beans, hash brown, mushrooms, toast and tea. Each establishment is very good, fairly priced and has good service.

Visitamos hoy para el desayuno a 10 minutos a pie de nuestro hotel. Éramos seis, y el propietario armó mesas para acomodarnos. El servicio era perfecto, el personal era muy atento. El café fue excelente y los desayunos fueron disfrutados por todo nuestro grupo, incluidos 4 de los EE. UU. Buenos precios también. Muy recomendable.

Great little place just off of Lambeth Bridge on Horseferry Rd. Hot and cold items and a nice salad bar. Big tv on the wall. Quick service, large portions, and reasonable prices. A good place to go if you are tired of pubs.

Excellent breakfast. I have been going for breakfast on Saturday mornings here for a few months, and I have to say that the quality of the food and the service are both excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Un pequeño y agradable café con el que tropezamos como turistas hambrientos que buscaban el desayuno más allá de las cadenas tipo pastelería. Usted sabe que está en busca de buena comida si la policía local está comiendo allí. Teníamos el desayuno inglés ligero, que no es nada ligero y solo cuesta 4. 5 libras. Me gustó tanto que volvimos una segunda mañana. Ojalá hubiéramos estado en la zona a la hora del almuerzo ya que las ofertas italianas sonaban fantásticas.

We had decided on Saporo nearly next door, but it was rammed, so we tried Gianni. Only a few hot options, but very well prepared and served and quite authentic - so a good choice. Not desserts to speak of

Popped in here late on Friday afternoon and had excellent lasagne and a pasta dish. Good selection of sandwich fillings and a good variety of mains. Freindly staff so if it's quiet you get to have a good chat as well.

Really incredible sandwich’s! You definitely get more than what you pay for and the quality is brilliant. The owner and the staff are really funny and you can see they enjoy what they do!

I eat lunch at Gianni's at least three times each week. The food here is amazing - the hot food is in a self-serve unit off to the side, and the cold food is at the back counter. The presentation of both hot and cold food is fantastic - especially the sandwiches - you will be hard-pushed to choose the best looking sandwich - they all look delicious. The staff are also really slick (they have to be, given how busy they are at lunch-times) - but they still have time for a joke and a cheerful word. I really recommend this place for lunch if you work nearby.

Popped prior to a meeting. Ordered the full English breakfast with OJ. Order came very quickly and along with the toast was a sizeable portion of sausage, egg, bacon, beans, mushrooms, hash brown and tomato. Was extremely impressed with the quality and the taste. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely return. The place is very clean and the staff are extremely friendly. A highly recommended visit to any one.

Popped in on a Monday at 8.30am. Not busy served very quickly ordered the medium breakfast. Received a great plate of food, toast and a big mug of coffee. Will definitely return when in the area next. Great service and great food.

Called in on the spur of the moment. We enjoyed a freshly prepared lunch served promptly. Variations on the menu are no problem. Gianni very easy to talk to without being pressing.

Llegamos aquí para almorzar, a 4 de nosotros nos sirvieron muy rápidamente con una muy buena relación calidad-precio. La "Anfitriona" fue excelente, nos hizo reír y nos sentimos cómodos. La relación con su pareja tan presionada durante 20 años impares, que se dieron "pena", fue realmente buena. Desafortunadamente, solo tuvimos tiempo para un sándwich rápido, ¡pero mi tocino y huevo eran mejores que los de mi casa! Todos los demás dijeron que los suyos eran sabrosos, abundantes y que valían la pena. Realmente lo disfruté y sin duda volveremos de nuevo. Gianni estaba constantemente ocupada, así que demuestra cuánto la gente lo aprecia.

Had a lovely tasting Penne Arrabiata served by very friendly & welcoming team. The owner is always very nice and helpful. Eaten there many times over the last 3-4 years. Superb.

I ate breakfast and lunch here on the same day as the breakfast was such good value and well cooked. Had a pizza bread piri piri chicken sandwich for lunch which was delicious. Friendly staff who were engaging and extremely well drilled in dealing with the lunchtime rush. See you next time I am in town.

We came here because we were hungry and had nowhere else to eat. I had a tuna melt, which was ok. One of my companies had a breakfast which was very good value and also quite tasty. Another had the chicken escalope panini, which was very nice. The chicken escalope panini was a very good standard, much better than i was expecting.

Great service and friendly staff considering the busy lunch crowd. Food was hearty and plenty of it. I had the New York melt, which consisted of a Pennini style sandwich and Cole slaw type salad. Would definitely recommend this for lunch.

Yo vengo aquí cada Viernes sin falta cobrar la mitad de sandwich mañana y es delicioso cada vez. La tendencia comenzó conmigo, pero ahora me recogerá para la oficina, ya que no podían resistir! He probado muchos artículos del menú y todos son muy sabrosos y de precio razonable. El personal siempre dispuesto y siempre tienen una buena charla.

Quería un adecuado de Fry inglés en mi primer día en Londres, y Gianni era el único lugar abierto temprano en la mañana. No me decepcionó con el plato generoso de delicias. Normalmente tienen una regla de vacaciones pero me comida volvimos de nuevo unos días más tarde para tomar un panino y otras delicias al día siguiente.

We came upon this little cafe while wandering around and had lunch. We all thought the food was delicious and freshly cooked.

Lovely home cooked food - and a wide choice. Incredibly quick service too. Great, friendly atmosphere and just tucked away from the crowds of tourists around Westminster.

We were a group of 6 staying in a nearby hotel. We refused to pay the steep prices for breakfast there and luckily stumbled across this little gem just down the road. The staff were all extremely friendly and we had a fantastic breakfast for a fraction of the cost at the hotel. The sandwiches looked great too. Honest and unpretentious

The title says it all - the staff were funny, but no-nonsense, and definitely weren't trying to 'wait' on you like it's a Michelin star place - the atmosphere is that of a quiet, real, genuine local Cafe with good food, and it doesn't pretend to be anything but that. Excellent place!

Acogedor poco lugar alejado. Paramos para tomar café y desayuno. El personal es muy amable y la comida era excelente! Yo tenía un sandwich de salchicha y huevo, que era enorme y delicioso. Mi marido tenía un desayuno inglés completo, que era increíble. El café llegó en una taza grande y fue la mejor taza que he tenido toda la semana. Los precios son muy razonables, especialmente para una ciudad muy cara. Me encantó.

Como un Australiano en Londres mi viaje y descubrí wifer littke esta joya de una cafetería por accidente (Horseferry Road Westminster). Buena comida, y el personal es increíble. Altamente recomendado.

Mangiato due volte panini caldi con vero affettato buoni e a buon prezzo. Certo una rinfrescata al locale la darei...... L importante è che si mangia bene.

While visiting London I had breakfast here, very pleasant staff and the food was freshly cooked and a decent size for a growing lad... the toast was doorstep size and lovely bread. An excellent place for breakfast if your visiting Westminster.

We normally get a take out of Bacon Sarnies (which are really nice) but this morning we had a sit down Full E B’Fast. As always the staff are quick and very friendly - The B’Fast wasn’t rushed to the table which is nice - it was hot, filling and worth the sit down. It’s a little off the beaten path but worth the finding.

Visited Gianni's for breakfast. What a treat. Prompt friendly service and wonderful value. Our hotel wanted £21.50 for breakfast. We ate a delicious breakfast here for £8.50 for 2 people.

We came across this place as we were walking around London.They have really good pasta dishes as well as freshly made sanwiches to order.The pices were very reasonable especially if your on a budget.Portions were good.Very freindly service.

Get a good sized English breakfast of beans, sausage, bacon, eggs, toast and coffee/tea for around 4 pounds! So happy we found this spot as our hotel that was just down the road wanted 30 pounds for breakfast (I think not). This was way better than a hotel buffet breakfast! And around 9am on a Saturday morning it was still empty.Stayed full all day while we took the hop-on, hop-off around London. :) Would have loved to have gotten breakfast here again the next day, but just about everything is closed on a Sunday morning.

Thats the first time when we r completely disappointed with tripadvisor rating. Why would ppl give 4+ for this place. I wonder. Mixed grill plate inedible, similarly burger and even jacket potatoes not exactly tasty, maybe pasta is the right choice, i donot know and will not know as not planning to visit ever. Lastly- cafe is ugly, in italian place awful cafe, can u believe?!

Ci hanno accolto bene e con grande disponibilità mi hanno preparato un piatto appositamente (quasi una english breakfast). Servizio veloce e cibo discreto.Prezzo giusto per quanto mangiato.La location ed i particolari potrebbero essere più curati... Ma per una tavola calda va più che bene.

Gianni's is one of those slightly chaotic but busy little Italian places which serves great food at very reasonable prices and very quickly. There is also a great self-service takeaway counter for both salads and hot food. If you are on the way to an event at St John's, Smith Square (just off Millbank) or visiting nearby Tate Britain, this place is definitely recommended for a quick tasty and good value lunch

we found this Little gem by our hotel on 1 of the 1st days in London and we went there every day for our breakfast while we were in London for along weekend, we were a party of 7 ( 4adults & 3 kids from Mallorca) and it was lovely that the staff spoke spanish.the place isn´t that big but the food and the service and everything else was huge !!!! enjoyed every minute and every mouthful.

We were at a conference in Marsham St and wandered around and found Gianni's. it was saturday. Horseferry Road was quiet but Gianni's was full. Although very small and the tables close together we were surprised at the quality of the food. I had real chicken soup which was a meal within itself. My husband had a lovley omellete, again a good size portion. With a hot drimk each it was less than £12. Lovely place, frindly staff and a good place to meet people.

It's rare to be so shocked by the total indifference of someone working in a cafe. If we hadn't been so hungry and tired (6pm on a Friday) we would have walked out and gone somewhere more friendly. Food OK but I've never felt less welcome.

We weren't willing to pay 25£ each for breakfast at our hotel and as this lovely small place was just around the corner we popped in as we saw it was really busy with customers grabbing coffee and sandwiches on their way to work. A light English breakfast starts at 4£ and that includes a really good coffee, but there's also a variety of breakfast offers like sandwiches or rolls, eggs on toast with extras to add etc. Quick and friendly service, good food, great coffee.One night we also had a burger and chips there which was also very tasty.

Eu e meu namorado estávamos hospedados próximo a essa lanchonete e o cheiro de comida boa além do lugar parecendo aconchegante chamou nossa atenção. Pedimos um panini de frango e bacon e English Breakfast completo. A comida veio em grande quantidade e deliciosa! Com uma funcionária brasileira e outra portuguesa muito simpáticas, conversamos um pouco em português enquanto comíamos. Nesse dia nem precisamos almoçar porque a comida era muito bem servida e com ótimos preços!

Today my family of four popped in early evening for dinner. In spite of the Visa/MC/Amex signs on the front window and on the till, when I went to pay the waitress said, "Oh, we don't take credit cards in the evening." Say what? When I pointed to the Visa symbol on the till, she shrugged. We are in London for just a few days and we only have limited pounds currency for local use. I specifically chose the restaurant on the basis of being able to use my card. If there was sign somewhere indicating the contrary I could not see it.

Stopped here for a quick lunch with friends after visiting Lambeth Palace. Terrific choice of freshly prepared snacks and meals at very reasonable prices with fast and friendly service. I had a generous mushroom omelette with crispy chips and salad. Would heartily recommend.
