Get Stuffed in Calderdale

Returned here for the first time in years on my way back from a production, as it was one of the only places open that serves grilled food. Food was OK, chicken and lamb shish, was also reasonably priced for a town centre restaurant, but it is meant to be a takeaway but was full of very loud, very drunk people eating in and all the smashed windows don't really give a particularly nice "ambiance".

Since we moved a few months ago we were worried how long it was gunna take us to find a good take away, it took us a week honestly the best take away we’ve been to the food has always been spot on and the mixed kebab is to die for absolutely incredible! We won’t go anywhere else

Do not order of there website they take your money and don't accept the order

The food was terribly mid i got a ham pizza and it was okay but the garlic bread isnt even garlic bread its just a pizza with nothing on it

I ordered from there less than an hour ago my kebab I ordered was stone cold yet it was delivered 20 minutes after I’d placed my order long story short they gave me a refund for the kebab which the driver dropped off he then proceeded to ask for the rest of the order for him to then pass on to another customer down the road which is beyond unacceptable let alone unhygienic I proceeded to argue as that is disgusting yet I was only to get a refund for the kebab he then called the store and I explained to this supposed manager that the driver was asking for the full order back which if he wanted the full order back he is to give me my full refund which the driver said no only refund for the kebab but kept on insisting I give the full order back so he could then re sell it how is this place still open as your customer service is abysmal and so is your delivery service let alone your cooks can’t clearly cook

Vile. The chips and donner meat were so pale they looked like they’d not even been cooked. The food was soggy, the donner meat was slimey. The delivery driver was rude and didn’t say a word. Was probably embarrassed about what he was having to deliver.

A very bad restaurant and the food is not delicious. I have seen it more than once and I felt bad about the food. It is not clean and I advise not to eat here. There is a worker wearing a green T-shirt who talks to customers disrespectfully and does not know English. I ask the owner of the restaurant to change the staff.

Absolutely disgusting..ordered from here for 20 years .ordered chicken kebabs as takeaway..got home Donner kebabs which I don't eat..rang the shop attitude was well sorry no genuine apology or way to fix it .was more about well you got some food . Absolutely disgusting after 20 years

The food was hot and enjoyable This pizza was thin and crispy and the kebab had the real taste Their price are very decent 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 i give you one more star as you deserve it

Is this what you call donner meat one side cooked the other side not, aswell as paying £7.50 for it i will never be ordering from here again it doesn’t even deserve a 1 star rating I wouldn’t even feed my dog that anybody that orders from here don’t even waste your time save your money for a better takeaway

Finally found a loverly takeaway in Halifax I have an allergic reaction to onion so I called ahead to see if they was okay with a special order. The man on the phone sounded cheerful and really happy to take my order 😁 I called a few times to change my order and it was never an issue the food arrived boiling hot the cheese was melted and the cams of pop was cold these guys seem to know what there doing and I feel very satisfied my money went to the right place thankyou soo much and i really look forward to ordering again very soon

Order food from here and it was pink and under cooked , thank the lord we checked before eating it . I would never order from here again , im utterly disappointed and discussed by them and there under preference and how when we called and put a complaint in they tride and denied it but we have evidence and they didn't even apologise for it . Make sure you and your family don't order from there ever . Even write this I feel like I'm going to be sick. If I could I would put zero stars

I just had a mixed kebab from here and it was SERIOUSLY discussing, I wouldn't have given it to a dog. :-/ And it was expensive

What a terrible experience ordered 2 pizzas one got delivered and other turned up 1 hour later with a different delivery driver who then tried to charge us again. And pizza was just dough and pizza topping

Don’t get food from get stuffed Halifax as order online rang time after time for thm say 5 min be here thn said on just eat tht was delivered whn it want so STAY AWAY FROM THE TAKEAWAY SET OFF IDIOTS

Over 2 hours and 3 phone calls later still no delivery.

Absolutely shocking, waited nearly 3, yes 3 hours for a delivery that we were told would take 50 min, very poor service would not use these for anything not worthy of a single star review but I have to put 1

Get stuffed used to the the best takeaway in town. Tonight I ordered, it was an hour late so I rang and they apologised profusely saying they’d add a couple cans of pop in as a way of apology. Food came 2 hours late. 1 pizza was missing and no apology pop. The pizza and portion chips I did receive was cold Severely dissatisfied. You just lost a regular customer.

Bemused as I’ve just ordered a full kebab yet foods nice but one half of pitta bread that is very very poor

Feel a bit stupid after leaving a heated review on JustEat. We didn’t get our food due to my phone not ringing despite being on so our food didn’t get delivered, so I got a big hangry. Someone rang up and explained the driver had tried to get our food to us. The person who’s name I forgot to get then bought our food to us despite all this which was really appreciated and thoughtful. Couldn’t apologise more for being a hot head!! 10/10 food as always!

Was impressed it was fresh chicken breast cooked for the chicken kebab I ordered however it was very salty. Cheesy chips were decent.

Whether ordering in store or on Just Eat I've never eaten a bad meal from here, or even so much as an average meal. Features one of the absolute best kebabs in town, provided by a friendly and professional staff who truly care about the quality of food that they produce

Disgusting!!!! Ordered a melt down and to be fair it was living up to its name because the food did look like it had a MELTDOWN!!! Chips uncooked, salad looked like it was fresh in 1987 and a Halifax tramp could of used the donner meat as new shoes

Best pizza and kebab in Halifax

I used to frequent this place over 20 years ago when I used to go out round town. It's still a great place, great service, and the food was spot on.

Food is usually nice but wasn’t even cooked. I would post a picture but doesn’t let me.

Ordered a kebab. One hour later not arrived so rang them. It be 10 minutes they said. 20 minutes later. Not here. Rang em. Gonna be 10 minutes. No. Cancel it. Was a Tuesday night so not a busy night. Saved myself £20.

Took nearly 90 minutes to arrive food was cold and salad was missing

Very tasty and spicy chicken kebab . Only slight negative is that it could have been left on the griddle a couple more minutes .Also pickled red cabbage is an odd and unpleasant topping on a kebab. My partners burger and samosas were very nice aswell . Delivery could have been quicker as was over an hour but will definitely use again .

Beautiful meat and dressing but the bread was stale and the salad was just loads of onion red cabbage little lettuce

Ordered around 9pm food was supposed to come between 10:15 and 10:35 but it stayed on order confirmed until 10:35 and it said it had been delivered. I’ve tried calling the restaurant for ages but it keeps saying user busy or nobody picks up. I’ve asked for just eat to give my money back so hopefully something gets sorted. Don’t waste your time here.

Never recieved the delivery, they took the money and apparently are now closed, they are a rip-off and I will never be returning to them

💯 Delicious!! Fresh tomatoes on Pizzas Perfect amount of lamb in big chunks on Shish Kebab Perfect Flame Grilled Burger. Absolutely perfect. We’ll be ordering again, and again, and again! Only 1 snag, they shut too early.

Ordered food tonight and the Delivery man was rude, tried to tell me my phone number didn’t work yet Just eat texted my number when the food was on its way so it clearly works! Then was telling me that they don’t deliver to orders under £12 and he did me a favour my delivering it, if they don’t deliver under £12 then decline my order or don’t let it process. Wouldn’t mind I always get food from here but this will be changing now. Poor customer service

We normally order from here an the food is normally second to none however we ordered a big order last night and the food was vile! So disappointed as we ordered for Father’s Day treats spend almost £40 and when the food come half of it went in the bin! Will never order from here again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Half pound burger and fries. Really nice. Douuble patty with cheese crispy bacon chilli sauce! salad! fries! as the French say. Onion bhaji yoghurt sauce and cake ❤ equals heaven. Pure poetry on a plate plato Sokratis would love it

Since moving into Halifax I was looking for a quality kebab. After going through the top bananas without luck I thought I will not eat a decent one at home. Until I stumbled upon this place. Ordered couple of times since and the meat quality is pristine every time. The option to choose a tortilla is a must try. Looking forward to ordering it again. JZ

Shocking service ordered and was told will be delivered within half an hour. To be then told an hour and be hung up on then 2 hrs later still nothing please do not use this take away

I used to live in Stoke-On-Trent and they do some decent kebabs down that way. When I moved up to Halifax I thought I’d be into some even better kebabs but I was so wrong . I’ve been here seven years now and tried kebabs all around HX , HD and BD. Totally disappointed until I found this gem. Fresh charcoal cooked chicken nicely cooked Donner with a fantastic salad that includes red cabbage. This is a must for the kebab fan

Was under cooked and very rude staff..

I was illegally charged £1 by this establishment because I chose to pay by card, I subsequently rang the restaurant and asked for this charge to be refunded, the manager refused saying it cost them X amount for card payments. Since January 2018 it has not been allowable to charge customers to pay by card. This establishment has a blatent disregard for the law on this, who knows what other laws they chose to either abide by or break. I will be contacting trading standards and my card supplier with regard to this incident and expect action to be taken. This is criminal activity, who knows how many people have been ripped off in this way, it's only £1 to me but how much are they harvesting from other unsuspecting customers. The food was mediocre at best.

Very poor. Shish kebab lamb hadn't been marinaded so tasted of nothing and was so tough it was unbeatable. £13 of which 90% went in bin. Also no sauces added so ate salad and went to bed hungry. Not good. Shame I can't give no stars. I was starving

Very disappointed with our delivery today. We used to use you lot in the past bit after a couple of bad takeaways went somewhere else. Last week we give you another go and it was good. This week we ordered again £40 order and the following things where wrong. Pizza stone cold Half of the Donner meat was over cooked and looked like it had been sat around all day. Dark brown and curly. We asked for no salad apart from lettuce and you served it with just onions. (Which none of the kids like) and it was on the notes and someone had hand written it on the receipt but still got it wrong. We paid for sauces separate as we all like different and none arrived. On the odd occasion I understand everything can’t always be perfect. But 4 separate things wrong in one order puts me back to not using you again.

Ordered from the just eat app. So disappointed having ordered in the past and really enjoyed. Had on nights out (But that is the end of the night). Orderd special kebab and cheesy chips. Arrived 20 minutes early. Cold when it arrived had to microwave it. Quality was bad if you go in it is better. Rang up to complain was spoken to like c**p and told they did the best kebabs in town ???? Ant the 3.5 mile radius was the reason it was cold...... if you cant deliver it warm don't advertise that radius. Would I recommend now NO...would I go again DEFINITELY NOT

Ordered a large mixed special finished it in 6 bites and it was in a tray not wrapped in foil and paper never seen large ordered red onions and garlic mayo nowhere to be seen saz kebabs are kebabs

Lovely pizza last night vegetarian. Best I've had for years. Could done wiv some tomato in the side salad, garlic bread were nice as well. Will definitely order again. Ate the lot.

Kebab was like chewing soggy cardboard , garlic was flavourless and the chips were cheap basic takeaway chips . If you like E.coli then this place is for you .

Worst kebab I've ever had... Just a small bit of bread. Loads of meat. Tons of hot source. After hearing amazing things about this place, left hungry and disappointed. Avoid.

The food only seems to taste amazing after a night out on the drink haha. I have ordered from there for tea and was a little disappointed.

Poor food now, not like it was 2 years ago! Had a couple of bad 1's last summer so I didn't have another for 6 months ' when I received it , I looked at the size and it was a lot smaller than previous and cold reason being is that it was not cooked! Chilli sauce was like water aswell! My partner had a pizza and said it was horrible ! She had eaten half of it and was vomitting an hour later! Get stuffed have lost £520 a year of us! Chips were OK !!!
