Gerrards Bakery in Flintshire

I would like to know why each time iv visit the staff are uninterested, unwelcoming, and treat you like an inconvenience to there conversation it's the same in the mold shop? I've stopped going in there as its starting to irritate me with there miserable what do you want attitude, almost robotic

Food is always hot where required and nice friendly staff. A good stop off for a snack either to sit in with a coffee or takeaway

Nice food but not friendly at all the way I was spoken to was disgusting after reading another review seems I’m not the only one to think this ! Won’t return !!

Unpleasant staff, need customer training!😖asked for cheese toastie, they had none(saturday lunch time!) Ok asked if they had chips? Stern reply Yep! But the manner was all wrong, so left! Wont return.

Great baguettes with fantastic choice of fillings! Customer service can be hit and miss on times, but they are always very busy so stress is expected. Always a lovely deli with so much choice, definitely worth a look :-)

Love love love the steak pies and Eccles cakes I’ve never sat in to eat as I’m always on the go they have quite a large choice of pies and pastries which always look well presented and fresh

Great place to have drinks and food very good selection. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food always served with pleasant staff. And always good value.

We stopped for a break, my 6 yr old son and myself. Brilliant friendly staff, lovely atmosphere. The young lady who served us spoke highly of Buckley and her learning of the Welsh language. Coffee was excellent and we loved the chocolate crispy cakes. My son wants to return for more. Kept our take away order warm (for hubby) and made the fresh tea for him on leaving. So a lovely experience. Thank you to the staff.

I have just witnessed a staff member dropping a teacake on the floor .she picked it up and put it on unit . She opened a new packet then when customer had gone I witnessed her putting the teacake she had dropped back in the packet .... supposedly to use for the next unsuspecting customer !!! Think there hygiene rating needs lowering ! Disgraceful !!! Will not eat here again !!

I was very disappointed with my visit this afternoon due to the woman that served me looking like she wanted to be somewhere else, Also when our food arrived she near enough threw my daughter's toasted sandwich at her I really think this person needs a lesson in customer service. Needless to say I won't be visiting again!

The best shop in Buckley! Great staff and food. Legendary yum yums :) steak pies are pretty good too!

One of my children and I had called in to Gerrards for some lunch to take away. The two woman behind the counter were more than happy having their own conversation. Simply asking me what I'd like and then the total cost.. No please or thank you!! Customer service really needs to be looked at. We ordered a small sausage roll and a cheese and onion pasty costing over £3 for the both of them, both were cold and were of no real quality. A place I will avoid in the future!
