Excellent service... 🙌They got a bunch of hardworking staffs... Ordered Mix Box and came in within few mins... The lady on the shop floor is very hardworking... Food tasted very good and the atmosphere was better aa well... 👍

I decided to try the kebab from GDK in the St James district and I must say it was really good! The bread was crispy, the vegetables fresh and the meat tasty and a little spicy. Also price was fair . For two adult person £12.

As usual, poor meat content despite paying for extra meat.

Enjoyed my food, good portions for the money and the people working are very courteous. Overall enjoyed eating here

Worst döner, definitly worst German döner kebab I have ever tasted. they dont know what it means when you say German Döner. On top of that we waited 30 minuts to get to döner meals , and the restaurant was not even half full, and yet 7 workers "working" Save time and money in edinburgh, dont go to German döner kebab, you'll just end up dissapointed....

Very good fast food restaurant, good quality food seems to be made of fresh ingredients. Taste is very delicious, prices are OK, clean tables, toilets, quiet atmosphere at the time we visited.

So disappointing. Spent so much money, delivery took 30 mins longer than it said it would and the food was cold, and couldn’t even tell what half of it was. Do not order from here.

This GDK is very good. The only thing missing is the self-checkout machines. I always prefer to come here instead of going to the St James Quarter one. People in this one are more friendly and the food is more fresh.

Got a takeaway delivered from here. Really tasty and decently sized portions. Price was ok. Only issue I had was that it was pretty cold by the time it got to me and delivery was a bit late but otherwise really good.

I have been eating at GDK in Edinburgh for over a year now and I love the doner burger and spring roles. But be warned the spring roles are proper addictive! Enjoy :)

First time I'd tried German donner. I was actually really suprised I liked it. Flavours are really good in the chicken donner in flat bread.

The best choice when I am lazy to cook

I ordered many times with this take away but this time the meat was raw and I had to wait for the order 30 minutes in the rain because they asked me to wait outside a bit not serious wast 4 star before now i give 1 star !!! I love this place! (Especially on Lothian road!) The best kebab is made here, I don't even want salad in it or anything because by itself it's so good! I honestly ate a better kebab here, than in Germany or Turkey for real, sometimes they superate themselves! Very good staff, especially the manager, I think the guy is polish,and since more than 2 years he makes me always feel at home, is always kind and available with the customers, but also the rest of the staff, all of them are hard workers , the place is always clean, 5 stars and even more:) thank you guys always ♥️

This place was clean and staff was friendly & helpful. We had two boss boxes and one of them was missing spring rolls as we mentioned to a staff member the manager Kamil brought it over with an extra piece and sorted it out. Special kudos to Kamil!!

Food is fantastic and always at high standard. Friendly prices and good atmosphere. You can go on your own for a quick bite or with friends/familly. Not your typical kebab shop, very clean, staff very friendly and reasonable prices. Excellent choice considering its just kebabs, and fairly healthy compared to most kebabs which are dripping in grease. Different styles of bread/wraps/meat/salad/veggy options, various types of fries as well. Fast food style so atmosphere not important.

That was without doubt the best kebab ice ever had. And I've had lots of kebabs. It wasn't greasy and was packed full of flavour. I went with the OG Kebab meal with cheesy chips (it's that American runny cheese, but tasted great). Had some kebab spring rolls on the side just to try them out. They were very nice but I could only eat 2 of the 4 as the meal was so filling. I'd come here again!

The kebab took me back to living in Germany as a kid. My only critique is that the kebab itself lacked enough sauce and I had to go back and purchase more. Otherwise it was a great visit.

I'm a carnivorous person. GDK is my haven! Yum!! I had a box of mixed meat with chips, my daughter had a chicken wrap, my sister had a kebab. I got a mixed wrap and mixed kebabs to go! YUM!!!
