Venimos aquí para un regalo de cumpleaños. Hicimos la orden de camino al restaurante para que pudiéramos recoger. Primero nos dijeron que no había opción de carne de res, luego nos dijeron que no tenían bocados de queso de chile en nuestro pedido también, así que después de volver a hacer nuestro pedido tuvimos que esperar de todos modos a que se hiciera, el personal muy educado, la comida muy promedio, volvería... ... no.

Buena comida. Grandes porciones, buen precio para lo que se obtiene. Puede estar ocupado, sin embargo, no esperamos mucho tiempo para la comida. Ridiculous service salaad had a hair in the person who served me was very rude arrogant. I will be reporting them to environment health edinburgh. Will never use this establishment again. Shame on them it's a disgrace. I will be reporting them to my uncle surwar who's this German donor kebab boss. Shane on the management.

Food was amazing and good service

Awful service from Rashid. Very rude. Painfully slow service in one of the worst GDK branches. The lady serving was also slow and rude. The branch is dirty and I would not recommend.

I had to change my opinion as I went there again recently, and I must say quality of food and service had declined a lot, firstly when I was trying to order I had to repeat my order 5 times and despite me repeating few times to the person serving, he wasn't able to take the order correctly, and once realised that requested to amend the order to correct item at this moment the person without any word just went out back to the kitchen and I had to wait for next waiter to come to confirm order and take payment. Secondly they did not have chicken as it was not to long to closing time so this is understandable that it has finished, so I had to order beef kebab with cheese fries and I must say it was one of the worst food I ever had, after eating half of the kebab I felt sick on my stomach, my partner ordered vegetarian option and also had to leave half of the food, definitely I do not recommend this venue to grab a food on the go. Unless you wish to spend evening in the loo.

The worst kebab I’ve ever had. In the box, the meat was dry with literally just a few thin slices, plus nearly raw fries. I’ll never eat anything from this place again. For that price, you can get much better food elsewhere.

Ordering from the table was a bit of an issue as the numbers didn't go high enough on the app. Fokd was amazing and literally the best Kebab I've had !! Garlic sauce was amazing !

Lower rating as I was a bit dissapoited with service (but what expect from chain restaurant...) and kebab wrap by itself. Its definitely not my taste. It was more like fitness kebab with fresh vegs and dry chicken and donner meet. I like more meety kebab, rich in spicy and garlic souse. This one is perfect for a lunch or brunch on your office brake. Not too heavy for stomach. Our test you can find soon on our chanel ChippyKings on YT.

DO NOT GET DELIVERY. Every single takeout order they fulfill is undercooked, half the portion size, and will ignore any dietary requirements! Hands down the worst installment of GDK in Edinburgh.

The food could have been good, but it was spoiled by the fact that I had to wait 20 minutes for my lunch, which in itself is not much if everyone else was not served in the meantime, but they forgot my order and I didn't even get an apology.

After loved the taste of German Doner Kebab in London, we tried the wrap in this branch in our Edinburgh trip. But the result was horrible. We had dyspepsia after eating here, an I even had a diarrhea. At the end I couldn't sleep the following night. I definitely don't recommend at all!

First GDK trial ever, and the overall performance was sub-par. I walked in on a dispute between chef and waitress. This escalated quickly into an argument (2 people arguing turned into 3 getting quite loud). I ignored this confrontation, ordered a meal on the digital screen, and still no acknowledgement of my existence. Food was prepared pretty fast, it was the £13.99 gym box. I was presented with a closed box. No confirmation, no thank you, no ‘would you like to confirm the selection’. So I asked to check the contents. I had ordered the famous chilli fries, it seems someone had neglected to sprinkle the ‘special spice’. I asked this item to be replaced. Instead, it was then OVERLY seasoned (exaggeratedly) rendering untouchable. I sat down to eat my meal and the spring rolls were too cold. So I disposed of them immediately and proceeded to the og beef kebab. This was colder than the spring rolls, smothered unnecessarily with excess sauce which I assume assisted, if not caused, the rapid temperature decline. Two bites in, and that was also thrown away as it was inedible. The only thing I enjoyed from the whole experience was the can of 7-up. Won’t be returning to any location anytime soon, won’t be recommending it to friends or family either. A BIG thumbs down from me.

No complaints, tasty and filling fast food. Very polite and efficient staff. I usually go to the Glasgow location, I was pleased that the consistency and quality was the same in the Edinburgh branch, as this can't always be guaranteed with chain restaurants. I would recommend the OG kebab, the waffle bread is unreal and the spicy and garlic dips are brilliant.

Located inside wavery station in Edinburgh. Takeaway and eat in is available. Ordered a vegan option meal. Price reasonable with portion. Tastes nice.

Portions got smaller recently, dissapointing

Poorer quality than it was first introduced. I remember ordering food from gdk years ago and my favourite thing about it was the great quality kebab meat they had far better than any other kebabs in Edinburgh. Well it's not the case anymore... The order that I placed today arrived late and was cold, the fries in my mixed meat box was soggy, the donner meat smelled weird and the chicken meat was full of big pieces of fat. I work in a restaurant myself and I know that restaurants to coope with increasing costs of goods offen replace their supplies with the poorer quality ones to save and I think that's happened here as well. It's a shame because it was a great kebab restaurant.

We ordered mix wrap and kcal meals, at 9.15 pm today but had to wait for more than 40 min. The meals were not well prepared, and do not taste as nice as the GDK prepared by the branch in St James Square where the meat is fresher and the wraps are nicely done.

I used to love ordering from this place, but my recent experience was a major letdown. I placed an order at 6:30 pm and was told it would arrive by 9:45 pm. After waiting far too long, I called at 8:10 pm to check on the status and was given a completely different story. The staff claimed they had just received my order, which was clearly untrue. I requested a refund, but they told me my food was already ready and the delay was due to a lack of drivers. That means my food would’ve been sitting for over an hour before it even left the restaurant. Eventually, I had to cancel the order. What used to be a reliable and well-run establishment has really gone downhill. The staff were unhelpful and disorganized, and it seems like the place is under new management. Sadly, I won’t be ordering from here again.

I ordered many times with this take away but this time the meat was raw and I had to wait for the order 30 minutes in the rain because they asked me to wait outside a bit not serious wast 4 star before now i give 1 star !!! These guys wasted my time, i was on justeat to order for collection, whilst processing the order they put themselves closed on the just eat app, I called to make a collection and the fella advised they dont take orders over the phone and advised he will reopen on the justeat app,wasted another 5 mins waiting and checking, then gave up, I end up ordering pepes instead, wouldve just ordered at pepes earlier had I known these guys are not consistent in their timing and equally their stock, either they have ran out of beef or they have ran out of spring rolls, once or twice maybe but consistently reoccurring, the manager of this place may need to get training on how to manage the stock levels, this restaurant could work very well but the staff are very incompetent and inconsistent

Worse kebab ever, I ordered beef kebab and received something what not even looks like beef, meat was white and taste awful. After first 2 bites I returned and asked for refund which I received. Food came cold, very slow service, we waited about 45 minutes to received our order. We ordered 3 kebabs and they served as separately so each kebab came in different time. Tables was not cleaned after guests so we cleaned ourself as table top was sticky and dirty.

Después de eso me envían información de que la cena fue entregada. No lo era. No hay oportunidad de preguntarles dónde se entregó ese restaurante y cuándo Así que pagué, no tenía nada, sólo estrés, y no había oportunidad de recuperar dinero. Por supuesto, eso será otro estrés y perderá tiempo para llevarlos ante la justicia.

An absolute unorganised place with staff that is just busy doing nothing it seems like. The girl on reception very well knew about my order but she didn’t have any courtesy to announce despite me standing there for over 5 mins, although she was happy chatting with her colleagues and joking around. Zero for customer services.

Food never arrived and was checked as delivered, delivery drivers need to phone us if they cant find the house not just press delivered and carry on with their day. Also if we get a refund we dont get the delivery fee back which means we pay it twice

If you don’t have drivers to deliver the food, then don’t accept the order. The order was almost 2 hours late. The driver was friendly though, not his fault. Food probably prepared when I order was obviously cold

Wraps were tasty but were delivered cold !! Experience would be better with fresh and hot food.

I ordered the jr donner meal with large fries and a vegetarian donner. The jr donner meal had a generous portion size. I wish they had a vegetarian option for the junior meal. The bread had the perfect amount of crispness and softness. The fries were not the best but I would like to try their flaming fries next time. The staff were nice and friendly. I would recommend this place! They have vegan options as well.

we all enjoyed this so much well worth money best I ever had. will definitely be buying again. my kids are fussy eaters even they loved it thank you and comes all wrapped up posh boxes napkins folks 😊 lobed the yourgut sauce and garlic to si much for price we will be back thanks so much would definitely recommend

Took my payment but order didn’t go through. Absolute shambles of a place. Whenever I’ve been there the service is incredibly slow but the food itself is decent. This franchise is the worst I’ve been in and gives the brand a a bad name.

There was next to no meat on the Kabab. I ordered extra salad it didn't mean take out all the meat. Disappointing as I love the food. Not sent a replacement but instead a 15% discount if I enter the restaurant. Not good enough, money doesn't grow on trees just provide a good food order please.

If theres order for plant based kebab amongs another with chicken, there should be marked somewhere that its vegan not just throw it there and let the person guess if they have chicken in it or if its plantbased!!! Im sorry this is quite big mistake and I hope this wont happen again!

Ordered a delivery from here tonight. Once the order arrived i was disgusted at the amount of donar meat that was on our items. 1 donar wrap that was all salad expet 1 strand of meat and i am not over exaggerating. 2 quesadillas ( on my daughters it was sliced into 4 and bad 2 small squares of donar meat on hers) and hers was plain so that was all she had Certainly wont order from here again. I called the shop to complain about it and was told theres notbing they can do about it because it was ordered through Uber eats but yet they are the ones who prepare and package the food so its everything to do with them. £40 down the drain and i am currently making my child something to eat Wouldnt recommend at all

My delivery and just eat experience was terrible. I waited 1,5 longer than expected. When my food order arrived the driver knocked the door twice, rang the bell and left it at the door.

Very good roll - fresh and crispy and i think there was a butter on it. Meat was cold. Not so mamy vegetables. Same with sauces.

Fraudsters!! Their 2 for 1 Tuesday deal is a complete scam. Was told I had to order on the app to claim this deal but the app wouldn't let me place an order. Tried on different devices from different locations and accounts. Thanks for wasting my time, don't fall into the trap, and don't buy from here their prices are ridiculous for this kind of food. Very very disappointing!

Not the best GDK I’ve been to. If you’re looking to have GDK I recommend heading over to the St James’ branch as the quality there is better. The kebab was good however the chips were really soggy so that was a bit disappointing. The kebab box was very oily.

Shocking, delivery driver clearly picked up more than one order and delivered to the other side of the city before delivering my food. We know because we followed them on the map!! Food was freezing when it arrived.

They are very stingy with the meet and the sauces I just don't taste any I have to put my own ketchup and Mayonnaise also I pay for feta cheese and they just put “ 3 small balls of feta!!!!! Are very expensive for what you get!! disappointment.

Two hours to get a delivery! Missing part of the order. Called the restaurant and they never pick up. Had said they were preparing my order and the driver was at the rest for an hour and a half. Time kept changing. Asked delivery guy how long he’d been waiting and he said 15mins and they only started my order when he got there. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

We love the German Doners having lived in Berlin for 4 years. It's the closest we've come to our favourite Berlin Doner!

It's not too bad of a replica, but not too close to the real doner kebabs from Germany. In this instance, our meat was under cooked.

Firstly i would like to say what I was trying to order… 1x plain fries 1x Kebab 4x spring rolls I only got 1x kebab COLD and without the meat! Plus it looks like someone actually bite it I would show you the photo but they don’t have an opinion to upload one! Seriously the worst experience I’ve had - I will not mention about the delivery experience…

The gym boxes they do with extra meat are great. Always check they give you extra meat as a couple of times I ordered one and it was full of extra salad not meat.

Food was mid , went too order and the member of staff taking my order sat like a spare prick and stared at me like I had 3 heads not saying a word. And the worker stunk like cheese and onion 🤢🤢
