Amazing food, staff, service and atmosphere!!

Extremely tasty and not greasy at all, just perfect!! Good ambience and promt customer service. The owner was very friendly and chatty and took care of all our dietary requirements. Great place, would highly recommend

We love this place! Food is good and not greasy like other places. Everytime we go (and its alot) the food is perfect! Staff are very friendly and welcoming. I cant recomend this place highly enough. If you havent tried GKD then you dont know what your missing! Always an offer on and great value for money.

Came in for dinner for the first time and rhe food was so good. It was hard to finish it all (just the main by itself) and worth the money. Sent a photo to the other half and we both came back in again for on the night. Sorry to the staff or manager serving I was extremely tired but they were super friendly and recommended downloading the app for tons of offers. Will definitely be coming back in again. See you guys soon!

Bit different to a normal kebab but tasty

Never been there before. The food was really nice, the kebab wasn't greasy at all. The people that worked there seemed a bit miserable. The place was clean enough. Couldn't find anywhere to take my rubbish after the meal, didn't want to leave it on the table but there wasn't a bin to place it in

Great Service, Friendly staff and exceptional food as always.

I recently visited GDK and had a fantastic experience. The staff, particularly Christina and the owner Kamal, were incredibly helpful and attentive. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. I highly recommend GDK for anyone looking for great service and excellent food.

The only downside that I saw was the fact that they don’t offer a selection of just meat whether it be beef chicken or a mixture besides that excellent

My OH told me we needed to go here after having it previously with a friend. We went after day drinks at the Botanist which is ideal as it’s just round the corner. I had the junior meal, which is still a canny size. OH had a mixed box, he was nice and full after. Could do with some forks as there is so much meat in the sandwich, it falls out (first world problems) so you have to scoop with your hands. We were the only people in the shop, which is odd considering it’s super clean and good value. Good drink selection and would return.

Had this amazing experience there with my friends. Everything was so good. The food was awesome, the restaurant was clean and tidy. The atmospheres were nice as well. The staff was amazing, Parikshit, kamal and abhi were really nice. As a vegetarian I would highly recommend their food. They really make the best vegetarian wraps in the city.

I had a wonderful time dining at this establishment with my friends. The vegan wraps were particularly delicious, and everything we ordered was of exceptional quality. The staff, especially Kamal, Parikshit, and Abhi, were incredibly kind and welcoming, providing excellent service that deserves a perfect score of 10/10. My first time getting a beef (not lamb) doner, having been a loyal customer of kebab trucks in Oxford solely for years. The owner briefed me about the differences between the two kinds and swept away my hesitation for new cuisines. It all paid off eventually since it proved to be one of the best kebabs I ever enjoyed. Highly recommended for anyone!!!

Food was incredible (as always). Tastes so fresh and delicious and the delivery driver was lovely. The veggie kebab is my favourite thing as the veggie bites are divine.

I was really looking forward to this, however im rather disappointed. Someone from the shop did ring to say cheesy fries pit of the sharing box would be missing which i was fine with, however everything arrived cold eventhough it was on time and there was a bone in my wrap

Visited this outlet after a visit to the theatre and I was looking forward to it Paid £24 for a box and a wrap . Found the ordering experience at the tablet a struggle as it rocked back and forth like a barn door in the wind. After picking our food and rejecting multiple fillings we sat about waiting for the food to arrive It came quickly but with items missing (crispy rolls) Imagine my surprise when I opened the my wrap only to see it full of fillings I didn’t want to eat When I asked to swap it he told me I would have to pay for another one as he couldn’t sell the one he made me to anyone else???? Lunatics!!! He actually seemed to be enjoying the misfortune I was experiencing Food that I ate, mostly the wife’s, was pretty tasteless and for £24 the portions were very small. The packaging was huge and probably would have tasted better kebab had I chose to eat it. This has to go down as the worst company experience of my life as the manager seemed to have no idea how to treat a customer and was argumentative throughout My advice is do not bother visiting this outlet, there are much better alternatives in Sunderland and with a better attitude

Great food, good size portions, I didn't know how or what to order, but staff were great! explaining the menu without judgement and very patient. The beef and chicken mixed original was delicious and not greasy at all, tasted beautifully fresh, we couldn't finish the meal and received a box and bag to take the rest home with. I will definitely be returning.

Went through just eat. Didn’t get food so went to shop spoke to kamal what a guy sorted meal for me within 5min excellent service from him highly recommended

first time ordering after hearing some good reviews. the delivery time was spot on. opened the food to plate up and everything was stone cold. we ordered the sharing meal for two, so disappointed. I rang the shop for them to tell me unfortunately it's the drivers fault, apparently it's the way the pack the food in their bags, surely this must be a massive hit to the business if they know that customers are recieving food cold. won't be trying here again unfortunately.

I have been a couple of times before and was impressed with the quality and quantity of meat in the product . On this occasion i purchased the £5.99 PANINI. It had no meat at all in the first inch either end of the panini and the bread seemed to hard and stale, there was no more than 3-4 strips of meat in the middle. So little meat you could not taste it at all just the sauce and onion were the overall taste. It certainly looked nothing like the picture and was very disapointing

The staff are kind and lovely. Walked in to get a Quesadilla for my friend on her birthday and was given an extra one for my girl. Absolutely smashing! And the Quesadilla is delicious.

Popped into GDK in Sunderland with my little boy today, I had an amazing mixed kebab wrap, everything was just perfect, the service was impeccable and the lads were friendly and helpful.

Absolutely disgusting, freezing cold when delivered and completely un edible 2 bites and it went in the bin will never order from this place again after hearing so many good reviews 🤮🤮🤮 don’t waste your money people

Doner wrap meal deal was top notch

Mixed kabab was very dry with no sauces inside. Just bread, meat and salad, so dry could only eat half. I’m sure previously there was option to add sauces inside but this is no longer the case with the app at this current time. Also as part of the meal deal you could choose a side dip. This is no longer the case you have to add that separately now at additional cost. Will not order again there are better local options.

This was actually the first kebab I've ever had, and I must tell everyone out there that the kebab I had, the OG Beef Kebab Meal, was GREAT!! ....the kebab meat, the lettuce, the purple stuff (don't know what it's called) - It's great.... the onions, tomatoes, garlic sauce and was it yoghurt? ....it was great - 10 out of 10. Minor gripes - the male toilet was closed, and some more serviettes would have nice, but,....I'll certainly be back in the future. The staff were nice as well. They helped me get served at the till, and asked if I enjoyed the kebab, which I most certainly did. Recommended.

I'm a regular visitor here with my children before we go to the match and food is always top quality. Food portions are huge and always left feeling full and satisfied. Also the manager of the place is very friendly and helpful always going out of his way to ensure we're satisfied. Highly recommended

Food was different but nice. Would say it's worth trying. Sadly I think it's to expensive. I've edited my review as I tried it again. And this time it was stone cold. The first time I ordered it was just warm. But I thought it can happen. But when ordered for the second time same again. You pay big money for cold delivery

then half the order was missing the doner wrap was missing and the jalapeño bites and I was absolutely starving for the rest of the day didn't get any compensation for the missing items

Ordered a boss box, order arrived and the main part of my meal the beef quesadillas were missing, rang the shop and they were no help and told me to get onto just eat about it, ridiculous customer service

Great food you get loads in a bread they use

We order from here all of the time but made a mistake with our order tonight so I rang up and Qristy (probably spelt this wrong but I'm sure he is the manager) sorted the job straight out! He's always making sure the customers are seen to and the orders are going out quickly.

excellent food great spring rolls

First time I ordered from here on just eat the order was cancelled, was a new place so I was disappointed but took the hit. Next time I ordered a man from just eat arrived with a tub of garlic sauce the same size as service station milk. That was the whole order 69p for garlic sauce £4 for delivery. He looked embarrassed I looked starving and he told me to take it up with the store. Spoke to the rudest man who cut me off, spoke over me and did not want to hear me. I appreciate English was not his first language but if being a jobsworth was he would be fluent. I heard things so I tried one last time. The food was OK, the packaging was better. You must ask yourself am I really OK to pay this much money to fill up my wheely bit with over priced food in go fresh packing.

Ice cold drinks put in straight on top of open bags of chips. Chips now just as cold as coming out the freezer. Very pale and barely even cooked either. Second time we’ve had an issue think we will give it a miss from now on. Shame as tastes amazing wen there isn’t an issue

Was really disappointed- meat was cold and there was hardly any on the beef kebab - the bread was full of salad and the meat was only on top to make it look like it was full of meat. Chicken was tiny bits of chicken and grease dripped out of bottom of wrap leaving me with a really greasy hand. Was expensive for what it was. Would never go there again. Left hungry and annoyed.

Most expensive rubbish kebab I’ve had in a long while. Meat cold and hardly any. Avoid!!
