German Doner Kebab in Sunderland

Food was cold on arrival. Fries and hash browns had no heat at all, requiring heat in the microwave. Kebab and donner wrap had a subtle warmth thanks to the foil wrapping but still by no means an acceptable temperature.

Prompt delivery and great service. Me and my mam thoroughly enjoyed our Kebab boxes. Lovely fresh salad and tasty beef/ chicken. Just the right amount for us. Will definitely buy from there again.

Menus are very misleading and a rip off with the prices You will get 1/3 portion for the box meal for £10 whereas other takeaways, you can get a much larger portion for smaller price at £6 Definitely not worth the price

I absolutely hate kebab but holy crap this place has the nicest kebab meals I've ever had I've never chose to have a kebab but i have with this place the food slaps and i Like how quiet it can be aswell

my food says it's delivered and I have not received it what is the point In havnt a code to give yo the delivery driver if orders can still go missing not happy at all as it's a 19 pound order

Came up on the delivery map that they were at the end of my street, stayed there for 10 mins and then marked my order as delivered. Just wanted to watch the new episode of invincible with some scran but apparently not smh

This was hands down the best kebab I’ve ever had. The wrap was packed with meat and had a perfect balance of salad and other fillings. Adding garlic for just 49p was definitely worth it. I went for the Boss Meal, which included a wrap, two sides, and spring rolls. I chose the hash brown bites and meat spring rolls—both were fresh and excellent quality. The meal also came with three small dips: garlic, yogurt, and spicy, all of which were delicious. You can place your order either on a touchscreen or at the counter with a staff member.

Love GDK, but the Sunderland store was one of the best. Great service from Kamal in particular. Will be back here

terrible service having delivery times consistently changed and yous try to deliver my food nearly 2 hrs late and cold! very disappointing and would expect nothing less than my money back in full.

Ordered food today having heard good reviews Ordered 2 meals for £36 this was to be delivered at 13.30 at at 14.45 food had not arrived rang the shop and was told to cancell order as a driver had not come to collect it and food was not edible and to cancel thrue just eat and we would be refunded.My wife did this and cancelled the order at 15.10 a driver turned up with the food which we refused and have now been informed that we will not be getting a refund so £36 down and a very annoyed wife,won't be ordering here again

The food is lenga pengas (amazing!) and our server Kamal was soooo nice. He gave us chips for free and he has the best customer service.

The OG Kebab is stacked full. Absolutely amazing Kebabs. Have ordered numerous times for takeaway. The flaming fries are tasty perfect for next day reheating too. Would definitely recommend.

First time I order and I got sent the wrong not happy

Food as good as always however delivery on cycle bikes in negative temperatures might be questionable. It was delivered on time , the lad was very nice and I genuinely thank couriers for working in these conditions but just eat could review their delivery boxes for winter season as food was barely warm.

I went in here for the first time today. The food was amazing. Everything I ordered had a real kick of flavour to it. The service was fast and friendly.The staff were very welcoming. This will be my go to in Sunderland town centre from now on.

Costs a little more than most but lovely food and perfect quality. Treat my kids to the kids meals and they loved it. The box designs are very cool.

Waited an hour an a half then when it came the chips were all over the bottom of the bag with a cold can of pop on top of them. Full meal was freezing

The GDK Donna Main is sooo lovely. That’s what I go for every time. But the GDK mixed meat of Donna/Chicken is the favourite of my two daughters. Both kebabs on delivery I have to reheat as the drivers have pedalled to my home. But reliable they are. The kebabs are worth it - every time. 15mins in a 170 Deg C seems to do the trick though.

Food is very nice only reason it keeps starts on quality but the portion size is a joke . We got a delux box for 2 ( share platter) and the wraps were small but the fries. Wow there were 12 fries in the bottom corner of the bag . Ment for 2 people

Having a beef or chicken German style kebab is a different experience to a lamb Turkish style kebab but it was absolutely amazing Served in a "hard" style shell instead of soft tortilla, you would think would make the meal seem heavy but it was actually the opposite. Felt completely full after the meal but but in a comfortable way. Highly recommend
