George & Dragon in Wirral

Just had a few drinks for my birthday. Staff are lovely and friendly. Cracking little pub.

No I didn’t have any food so cannot review the service and price of a drink however was exceptional

Proper old school boozer, wipe your feet on the way out type but it's full of character.

Started going to Birkenhead after about 12 years, been here twice last month, good pub and enjoyed using the free jukebox

Great pub back in the day when Pauline was the landlady but sadly like the surrounding area has gone downhill.

Good night out. Really liked it. People you meet are friendly. And the bouncer kindly asked me to leave when I was sick. 🙈😂 he could have been horrible but he wasn't.

Stopped off at this Pub on away football trip to Tranmere, George and Dragon is in Birkenhead the nearest Rail Station to the Ground, good old style Pub with number of regulars in there and a jukebox . Drink offers at good prices made the visit ideal,

One of the most unfriendly pubs I've ever been in

I've done the G&D in Dubai, but the G&D in Birkenhead cannot be compared, it's a class of its own! Comfy "workman's" pub, decently priced, and, most importantly, the bar staff are luvly! They don't do food, but there's plenty of takeaways nearby. I luv it, my local when I'm in Birkenhead!

Full of coke heads who just want to snarl at you all night purposely looking for a fight toilets are a disgrace staff don't care just want to take your money music ok DJ is obnoxious door staff are okay but that's all its got going for it avoid the place like the plague
