Benjamin was a delight and made our evening very enjoyable. We were easily one of the noisiest tables, and he was a very attentive member of staff. He is also a very accomplished photographer! 😄 Thank you to the manager of G&D for keeping the kitchen open so that we could order our food! Friendly staff and a happy environment to enjoy a wonderful evening with friends!

Went for lunch with a friend a lovely young man called Daniel was working, very considerate and friendly he gave us outstanding service delievred our foid with a smile ...which doesn't happen often enough in pubs...will definitely return such a friendly and really genuinely lovely young man.

Arrived shortly after 20:00 due to public transport's delay. Saddly kitchen closes already at 20:00. (Which seems really early from a tourists perspective.) Pub itself is really beautiful and clean. Also functional room is quite large and looks really nice.

Me and my friends visited Bedford from London and we had such a great time at the George and Dragon. The highlight of our trip was the bartender Daniel who met all our needs. Give him a raise!

Come here most weekends always have a good time bar staff are always so friendly, barman named Daniel always sticks out to me when I’m being served during busy weekends he seemed to get the que down quickly and his service was very welcoming. Lovely atmosphere during the week with great food :)

Amazing trip with the kids out to the George and Dragon in Bedford, and I have to say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The pub itself has a charming, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. But what truly stood out was Fin. What a man. Looked after us from start to finish. He was friendly, attractive - ehem i mean attentive - and incredibly patient with the kids. I would defo go again, if not for Fin then for the pub and the great food and drink that we were served. Give this man a raise.

Just a flying visit. Barman kind and attentive. Great choice of tipples. Rounded off with coffee and a muffin. Today 2nd Sept 24 had a steak sandwich. V tasty. Highly recommended.

It was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly balanced modern chic with a touch of rustic charm. The dim lighting and comfortable seating created an intimate setting, ideal for both casual hangouts and special occasions. The drink menu was impressive, featuring a wide array of craft beers, unique cocktails, and an extensive wine list. I particularly enjoyed their signature cocktail.

What an amazing place! Friendly staff who looks after you all night long, good music with delicious cocktails! Shout out to Benjamin outstanding service!

All round top class…The pie is everything they say it is. Max & cheese is awesome and the fish and chips great. Value for money, great ambiance, stylish and fresh decor. And to top it, staff are friendly.

They do not care about their customers. Booked a table a week and a half ago for the final, went on time to find out someone it deleted our booking, gave it to somewhere else and didn’t care at all. No apologies or sorting out, just ‘tough’. If you want to have a pint in a pub who only cares about themselves, knock yourself out. Our group won’t be going back there again. Thanks for ruining a very important evening!

Really like this pub, big, garden and generally nice. Would have eaten here but we already ate 20mins earlier. Definitely will go there again.
