Genevieve's Cafe in Northampton

Amazing food, Christmas specials are so tasty. I had the soup followed by Christmas Cake French Toast. My friend had the Jenson Vegan breakfast. The staff were so polite and friendly, we will return.

Lovely local cafe with some really tasty food and good prices. Only downside for us (but maybe an upside for others) was the number of loud children playing, but wouldn’t stop us coming again!

Absolutely love this place and have been many times. The food is incredible (have had nearly everything on the menu!) and menu gets updated frequently with new things to try. Staff are always welcoming and helpful and on the occasions we’ve visited as a big family group they’ve done all they can to accommodate us. Cannot say enough good things about Genevieve’s and can’t wait for our next visit!

I visit here at least once a week with friends or family and it’s our favourite place to eat. We lived in London until recently and always felt Northampton lacked somewhere like Genevieve’s. So we were ecstatic when we discovered it! It has great coffee and the food is just incredible - really high end but for decent prices. Service is excellent, atmosphere is relaxed and the soft play caters for the kids. The whole place just comes together really well and everything is spot on. Would 100% recommended, it’s fantastic.

I have been here a few times with friends and with my little girl, it’s a lovely little cafe. The play area is good for the little ones, staff are friendly and the food is good (I recently had the chicken burger for lunch which was delicious and my daughter loves the cakes). It’s a great find, it can get very busy though at peak times and you do sometimes get older children on the soft play which I don’t believe should be allowed as it ruins it for the little ones and it’s not built for older children

We visited Genevieve’s this morning for breakfast, I’m really rather impressed by this place. The staff are friendly, great menu, reasonably priced. The portion sizes are excellent and the food/coffee was extremely tasty. Having read the previous reviews, I can only assume those issues were down to the initial teething problems of starting a new business. Don’t let these reviews put you off, give Genevieve’s a try. I also suppose people are quick to write about an issue, but the same isn’t necessarily repeated when a good experience is received. Really important to support small businesses! Keep up the good work! Excellent!

First I visited with friends for coffee & cake. The food is lovely and the staff are friendly. I went back with my 4 year old grandson when I realised they had a small soft play area. Lovely place.

A really lovely spot which my little girl thoroughly enjoyed . Although the food was a little slow to come out the staff were very apologetic and the food was absolutely delicious . We will definitely be returning . All the staff were really lovely .

Awful! First got told it would be 30 mins wait for food which was fine…. 1 hour 30 mins later still waiting for food. 30 mins for coffee to come out which my friend ending up wearing. No apologies from the staff for the wait. I asked numerous times how long it would be and kept getting “soon” 30 mins later i would ask again “oh soon.” When the food finally it was mediocre not worth the price at all. won’t be going back!

Was taken here by friends as they have a small soft play area for kids. Was very busy. Ordered breakfast waited 25 mins for drinks. Chased up our food as we waited 50 mins. Was told it was going to be 5 more minutes. Eventually asked for our money back. Was told it was busy, they underestimated how they would cope etc. I worked in hospitality for 30 years, there was no enticement to return and the manner of how the issue was handled wasn’t convincing. We won’t return and won’t recommend it to others.

I visited here when they first opened and was a bit disappointed but decided to give them another try for lunch, as they were newly opened and clearly still getting things sorted. Really glad we did- the food was incredible. We had the hash stack and the steak sandwich. They were both beautifully presented and tasted amazing. We also grabbed some shortbread to go - also delicious! Service was friendly, quick and attentive, so perfect to pop out on our lunch break. We will definitely be coming for lunch regularly now. So happy to have you on Pineham 🙂
