If you're around King's Cross and St. Pancras Station and looking for a quiet retreat, I highly recommend visiting this charming café. Despite being in the heart of one of the busiest areas in London, the ambiance is surprisingly calm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax or to work. The café serves a delightful selection of coffee and Mediterranean mint tea , and their date-made sweets are simply exceptional. The stuffed dates, in particular, are a must-try—they're deliciously unique and complement the coffee and tea perfectly. The service is excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who make the experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're looking for a peaceful place to unwind or a quick, tasty treat, this café is a fantastic choice. Don't miss out on their specialty sweets!

This is such a lovely little Café. The coffee was perfect, breakfast absolutely delicious but what really makes this place is just how homely it feels. You can tell by all the friendly smiles and banter that this is a real community hub. It was almost like visiting an old friends house for a coffee and that's such a rarity in such a big city. The almond biscuits were lovely too

I was waiting for a friend, at St.Pancras, and decided to explore the area. Found Gazelle Dates down a side street. Nice little cafe, nice coffee and free WiFi.

A stones throw from Euston station and so much nicer than the impersonal chains around the station. Well worth the short walk to escape the crowds. Great coffee, a warm welcome and it was warm enough to enjoy this al fresco.

This is an excellent small coffee shop serving illy espresso coffee, attached to a small gallery and apparently a date business (the type you eat...). Website says it is only open Mon_Fri. I went in twice this week and both times was quite quiet. There are some sockets to charge devices. Small cushioned stools as well as a few tables and chairs - the seating could be improved. However the coffee and friendly efficient service makes this a welcome find.

Your order will be brought to you whether inside or outside. The coffee is good and there is a selection of savouries and pastries. The Portuguese Custard Tart was enjoyable but not memorable. This is a safe place to stop for a break.

Gazelle dates is everything you expect from a family-held establishment. The staff is friendly, welcoming and the food is great (especially the chicken Moroccan wrap!). This lovely little shop near Euston & Kings Cross is perfect for a snack or a coffee stop. Smiles are guaranteed and the almond dates are to die for! ❤️ Do yourself a favor and become a regular of Gazelle Dates - you won’t regret it.

It’s places like this that make London what it is. This is a delightful place where there is warmth and welcome, delicious dates and I can’t wait to go back when they are able to open for sit down customers when lockdown ends (my last visit was when only takeaway was allowed). This is an independently owned and managed place which is well worth seeking out - 5 minutes walk from King’s Cross.

Very happy to find this today. They threw a few vegetable in a ciabatta and it was the tastiest snack I've had in ages. The date snack was divine. Very friendly too. Worth a short walk to find this and escape the multiple Prets etc.

Convenient to St Pancras, King's Cross, and the British Library, just a few steps off the beaten path so you're in an actual neighbourhood instead of on noisy Euston. I tried a pecan pastry and custard with a cup of tea and liked them very much. Next time, I'll come back for the dates, which are the house specialty.

A step or two off the beaten track, this cafe is run by people on a first- name basis with the neighbours. Modern decor, outdoor seating, fresh food with real variety. I feel a little bad that I didn't get to try the dates, but the French-style pastry and English-style custard were just right with my cup of tea. Very convenient to the British Library, St. Pancras, and King's Cross.

We loved our lunch at Carrots and Daikon yesterday. I had the garlic tofu Banh mi and my husband had the tofu lunch box. The baguette forming my Banh mi was the perfect combination of crunch with a soft centre and the tofu was nicely garlicky. What really made our day were the ice creams! The chrysanthemum and mango ice cream was such a fantastic combination and the matcha and pistachio was delicious too. We then bought one of each of the other flavours and I must admit that the combinations are creative genius! Who would’ve thought that mint choc chip would go with coffee and raspberry and jasmine tea with its floral notes would hit the spot?! I thought that the coconut and lemongrass was super refreshing too. Thank you to the friendly folk at C & D.

Friendly neighbourhood pub - good selection of beers and have started doing good food again! Outside area is great on a warm day - generally tends to be a good atmosphere.

Opened last year or early this year..very pleasant and airy bar / cafe, which if you're arriving early for a meeting or finishing early, is a nice place to chew over the errors in your recent ritual meeting! As usual in London all a bit pricey but very convenient after a meeting in the Temples. Very bright and tastefully decorated with the usual good staff.
