Nice place, kind staff, Christian is very good......the pizza is so good, eaten very few times in my life...coming from a Calabrian...believe it!!!

Amazing pizza. Comparable to the best spots in NYC and Naples. Was pleasantly surprised at the craftsmanship and love.

Was needing a break from Scottish food, so we got the pizza and it was amazing, so we got the lasagna bolognese and it was amazing, then we got the sticky toffee pudding, and it was the best we had so far. The breakfast options were ok… needed hot sauce.

Excellent fresh pizza, tasty toppings and crust. We enjoyed the venison salami and black pudding. We asked for some Parmesan, and they brought us a small bowl of actual shavings of cheese. Very pleasant surprise. Staff were friendly but we had a little wait to be seated and our orders taken. We enjoyed beautiful views from the spacious and modern dining room. The scents from the diffusers and nearby candle store was a bit too strong, though. Overall great spot to stop by, away from the busyness of Portree town center.

We were on Skye for 2 days and went there for dinner twice. Pizza and lasagna. Top. Service top, ambience top

Really delicious pizza with a nice view if you can sit at the window. Vegan cheese available! Only downside was that the floor was so dirty - next to our table lay several napkins and leftovers, and the service did not take care of it. Otherwise I would have given five stars.

What a fabulous place just outside Portree! It’s big enough for group gatherings and enough space for weary travellers. Their pizza chef knows his craft!

The restaurant is in a beautiful area. The windows are huge and the view is absolutely beautiful. It is a big open plan place and as such it is quite airy and bright. The food is okay, they do sandwiches, pizzas and cakes mostly. The service is usually great as well and most of the staff is friendly, however, last time I was there a grumpy older waitress told me that my little dog can't sit on my lap. She said "the dog has to be on the ground". I found this outrageous for 3 reasons: - by this point we were in the restaurant for about an hour and no one complained about my dog on my lap - the dog was NOT on their furniture but on my lap. It is entirely up to me if I want to have my dog on me or not - she was quiet and polite the whole time ( she did not bother other guests and didn't try to eat from my plate) She is a 4 kg tiny poodle, and she is not used to sleeping on the cold ground, nor would I want her to do so. Therefore I quickly left and will probably not go back even though I loved this place on our previous holidays.

I walked in with no reservation at 6pm on a Sunday evening. The place was more than half empty. They turned me away, could not accommodate a single guest. Great business model 👍🏼

The pizzeria is located in the visitor center. We had pizza and lasagna. Both tasted very good. The service was also great. We also had a table with a water view. All around a very good location. Above all, the restaurant is open 7 days a week. Particularly handy on a Sunday when many restaurants on Skye are closed.

Stopped here while at the visitors center. Staff is quick and friendly. Food is delicious. They have a small menu but it is enough. Reasonably priced. The BLTC was delicious and fresh and the Salmon bagel my wife got was big chunks of salmon, not the normal thin slices she was expecting. She said it was delicious.

Had lunch here for the second time and the pizza with Cajun chicken and the garlic bread are extremely tasty, served piping hot, fresh and the dough is perfect. The only negative is that service has been slow both times visited (over 20 mins for pizza arrival to table) but it seems that takeaway orders are being fulfilled. It wouldn't put me off going again as the pizzas are that good - generously sized and topped and just as tasty when eaten cold later on! Worth a visit and we may go back again before our holiday is finished.

During our stay in Portree, we were searching for nearby restaurants and this one popped up. The pizzas looked nice on the pictures so we decided to give it a try. We were amazed at the ambience of the restaurant, it is within the premises of the Isle of Skye Candle Company. Very vibrant restaurant with some amazing views, it is like a fine dine. The menu is not too elaborate... basically there is pizza, garlic bread, couple of salads and a couple of desserts. We ordered the coig pizza (#5) and the garlic bread. There was just 1 vegan pizza option and 2 vegetarian pizza options. The pizza was thin crust and very crispy... i liked the fact that the pizza base did not get soggy with the toppings. I wish they had glutten free base as an option. Pro-tip - Ask them for some chilli oil and pour some on your pizza and garlic bread, will really enhance the flavors of the pizza.

You don't have to be in a hurry. Especially for drinks. Good pizza but small salad, served on a flat plate, not practical.

Amazing pizza, amazing view, great drinks! Super cool space too - it is in the same building as The Isle of Skye Candle Co. (excellent spot for souvenirs) and a local cinema. Outdoor seating is available as well. ♥️

Person in charge was very unpolite. Local was empty but, she didn't let sit down. We have to take the pizza.

The place is almost empty and they let us sit because it says there are reservations and it is 3 in the afternoon. We have waited 30 minutes and no one has arrived.

We asked for3 separate tables for 3 families, as there were a lot of free tables, some of them booked 3 hours later. But the receptionist said we could only buy pizza to go. At the end the families had to sit oitside with the kids, having the restaurant almost empty.

Horrible service. I think they didn't want to work. We arrived and asked if we could eat 15 even at separate tables and they told us no. We ordered takeout and were told we would have to wait a long time. And while we ordered there were a lot of empty tables, some were left empty and others had a reservation sign for 7:00 p.m. (and it was 3:00 p.m.!).

Horrible service from the manager. We have arrived to eat and they tell us that everything is busy and that they do not have free tables because customers are coming. After waiting 30 minutes, no one has arrived and the free tables are still free

Perfect place for a lunch stop on a rainy day. There was a waitlist but we were sat within 20 mins and shopped while we waited. The pizza was fantastic and we’re from Brooklyn so we know good pizza! Get the Ceithir pizza.

Rude woman at the front this evening. Wouldn't give us a table though we arrived 30mins before the advertised "last orders". No exceptions even though we had a small child with us. I will not be recommending this place!

Very good food. We arrived in the afternoon around 7:00 p.m. without a reservation, and they kindly let us sit even though our table was reserved for 8:45 p.m. We ordered 2 very good pizzas and we were able to take the leftovers at no additional cost.

Gasta has the best pizzas! We had a delicious meal at Gasta during our holiday on Skye. The food was delicious (we’d really recommend the venison salami and hot honey pizza), and the service was excellent. The view from the restaurant was also fantastic! We’ll visit again when next in Skye!

Totally worth the five min drive from Portree for lunch or dinner. Pizza’s and Bagels are amazing. Great example of a restaurant that has a small menu of things but does all of them really well…

Great food & excellent service! We visited Gasta Port Righ twice on a recent trip to Skye and highly recommend it. I’m vegan, but my partner is not, and we both found great options! I had a pizza with vegan cheese and a tasty side salad. It looks like they have more vegan options on the breakfast/lunch menu. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It also seemed like an easier spot to grab a meal than some of the other restaurants in Portree, especially for a large group. We were able to walk in without reservations and the building has ample parking.

Stopped in here today for the first time. Had a great coffee and as it was 11.30 we had brunch. Absolutely loved the bagels we had. The service was fast and friendly. We are going back tomorrow for lunch. We also ventured into the candle shop and it was absolutely beautiful. Brought a candle to take back with me to Australia. This is a really lovely gift shop and restaurant, be sure to visit when visiting Skye.

We visited this lovely restaurant 3 times whilst staying in Portree. The pizzas are lovely but the hot chocolate is heavenly.

The pizza is really good. It’s not just fast food grade good; it reaches the level of a top-tier Italian restaurant.

Pizza was interesting and also good (we ordered the OCHD). It was quite large. My wife had a begel BLTC and she seemed pleased. The sticky toffee pudding missed the sticky toffee, so it could have been better. The staff is very friendly. Plenty of parking spaces.

Extremely friendly staff. Pizza was very tasty. Requested an extra thin base and this was met without any problems. Fresh from a brick oven, which benefits the pizza.

The good news: They were open on Sunday night. They had room for a table for 5. Pizza was good. The bad news: Salad greens were gritty and obviously not washed. The service staff seemed quite disinterested and inattentive. The place was busy, but not so much that prevented them from an occasional visit to the table. Open Table asked me to review, but then led me to an endless login loop.

Fantastic Pizza options and drinks. Will be back again for the third time soon.

DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET FOOD POISIONING. I went on a 10 day trip to Scotland with my dad and ate the exact same things as him with the exception of a salad with salmon from this restaurant. 16 hours after eating there, my dad became incredibly sick with food poisoning. He was so sick I almost had to bring to the emergency department. He vomited so much, it completed ruined multiple days of our trip. I would never consider eating here after that and would not recommend this restaurant due to causing food poisoning.

Lots of vegan options. I had pizza which was YUMMY Seated quickly and food arrived promptly. Great atmosphere and staff were friendly.

Can’t really comment on the food, because my friend and I just got a drink to take away after visiting the candle shop. I will say the pizzas looked delicious. However, there were some ~~spicy coos~~ at the cafe. I overheard one of the staff members (seemed like a manager?) being extremely rude to a customer. She berated the customer for checking on her to-go order and argued with the customer about how long she had been waiting. She was appallingly disrespectful and I wouldn’t go back here.

Clean building that’s bright and airy. Menu has a good pizza selection. The pizza had a great crust but almost no taste which was disappointing. Staff is friendly and efficient. We were in and out in less than a half hour. It’s a good place to go just outside of town that isn’t as crowded.

Everything comes together just right! The scenery is fantastic! Every seat can easily have a good view. Food is wonderful. Coffee is great! Pizza is great! Salad is excellent! We love them all. Waitresses are really nice and friendly. It is overall a wonderful experience.

We really liked this restaurant. The location is just on the way into town and has great views out front with indoor and outdoor seating. We found the service to be good and enjoyed a great chat with our server Anna. Pizza was good but a little heavy on the cheese for our liking.

During our recent visit to the restaurant, we were impressed by the delicious pizza they offered. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. However, our dining experience was marred by the lack of helpfulness from most of the staff members. With the exception of one person, who was attentive and accommodating, the rest of the staff seemed disinterested and inattentive. We found ourselves waiting for extended periods to place our order and receive our food. Additionally, the ambient noise level in the restaurant was quite high, making it difficult to have conversations without raising our voices. Despite the tasty pizza, the overall dining experience was somewhat disappointing due to the lack of efficient service and the noisy atmosphere.

Enjoy your meal. The restaurant was busy in the evening, so make sure you make a reservation.

Excellent pizza and salad in a lively setting. Be sure to book ahead since it was packed on a Monday in late April. I can only imagine what the line would be like during the high season!

For being in Scotland, we had some really good pizza! Definitely superior to our standards outside Italy, cooked in a wood oven, good, I would eat it again!!! Slightly slow service but everyone was friendly! Reservation highly recommended

Both pizzas were totally excellent - chorizo / black pudding (though just a touch more topping would be appreciated!) , lovely setting and space, staff really great too 😊 Although more than I'd regularly choose to pay for pizza, these really were delicious & 100% worth the extra few ££s, especially as the company have such a wonderful ethos in retaining a large number of local staff all year round, and have invested a huge amount to save a great building from the edge of neglect when they took it over, doing a massive structural & interior refurb to bring it back to being a wonderful space again 👍🙂 thanks guys, you're all awesome! 😁

Pizza was delish and one was enough for our family of 3 including a kid! But a little costly which again I guess justifies based on its location!

I previously enjoyed visiting this place, but I've had to stop since they began permitting dogs inside, due to my allergies to dogs. The growing trend of allowing dogs in dining spaces raises concerns for me about hygiene.

We have arrived at 19.05 to the restaurant. The schedule in google say that they are open until 20.00. We haves asked for table for 5 and they said that the restaurant is closed. I have asked that in google the time is until 20.00, and the girl said to me that the kitchen last order is at 19.00…. So weird approach to the customer when the restaurant was almost empty!
