G.A.S. Bar and Bites in Chesterfield

Live music. Was a lovely atmosphere. Drinks a little expensive, but, tis, wot it is... Lovely little venue. 1st time here and I'd definitely go back... (Watch out for the live feed Facebook camera, above the bar. I was spotted on there by my sister 😆)

We visited last night to enjoy a cheese board which was amazing. There is a selection of different cheeses and some is local. There is a great cocktail selection which is 2 for £10! The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. They had a lovely band on when we visited which was great too. The music they were playing prior to the band was also really enjoyable, atmosphere is just right for us! Will visit again as a treat!

Popped in for a drink with friends great atmosphere, we will be back.

Shocked at how filthy this place is ,especially outside..food on the floor and tables inside and the seats and tables were filthy outside..when ladies dress up to go out hey don't want to get their clothes dirty just from sitting down to have a drink...

You won't go hungry with the cheeseboard! Great service and food

Food and drinks were amazing. Good selection of cheeses and decent portion sizes. Service was brilliant, think our waiter was called Lewis.

This is a really great bar in a nice location.

Nice bar, I didn't stay long, they looked after us though reserving 2 tables for our party. Had a cheese board that was nice, might be able to score higher if I'd stopped longer

Great food we had the 5 cheese plus pork pie a great selection of meat plus olives. Pickle onions etc..and staff young but very friendly and helpful 👍 👌

Great place, good atmosphere and shows football. Cheese board is amazing and so is the large Prometti. Definitely recommend.

One of the best places to drink. As the staff are amazing and friendly even given covid times. As they're all professional and respect what do happening. Cant say more. 10/10

Ordered platter and cheese board. Beautiful range of cheeses and assorted pickles meats and salad etc. Ended up having a doggy bag which the staff were only too happy to supply. Love to go again.

Staff great just hate the new government guidelines in place

Rude manager Marvin was obnoxious and arrogant, referring to customers as “parasites” on a regular basis reading all these other reviews. Don’t expect any good customer service from this place. Also, the positive reviews you see here are from all the bar staff that work there so don’t believe any of the hype this place is awful and obviously don’t take complaints seriously.

A bit dead. Only had one Cider which was strawberry something. Music was on but definitely nothing special.

Having had a meal and three rounds of drinks, we were suddenly told we had to leave as they had booked our table to somebody else in ten minutes time. Very rude and terrible manors!

Trendy place, very clever sharing platers that make the place worth a visit and stand out. Not a great range of bear but...

What an excellent place. Fab service food, and conversation The owner and manager went above and beyond. I would recommend eating there to everyone.

Cheese boards are good value. Went on a Sunday though and very, very quiet, so no atmosphere.

Bouncers are terrible ! ! Not to be seen when trouble starts ! Leaving you feel very uncomfortable when you leave the bar as they are all outside gathering !!

Oh my god. Expensive drinks. The bites are ridiculous. The employees eat behind the bar in front of customers. The cheese boards are a joke. It is definetly a never again
