Ordered two meals and two hot drinks via a sullen faced female server. After a 20 minute wait on a quiet Tuesday asked for an update. A different sullen faced woman snapped that there was hot food ahead of us. One person ahead of us whose food came out after ours so who knows, everyone else was having cakes and drinks. Chicken BLT sandwich and chips looked good and was ok. My ‘gardeners Platter’ otherwise known as a Ploughman’s wasn’t so good. I slice of poor quality ham, 4 very thinly sliced pieces of almost flavourless cheese, one pickle cut in half, handful of salad,minus advertised watercress and a slice of white bread in place of the advertised chunk of bread. Don’t bother, choose something else. For almost £30 there is better by far in St Anne’s just up the road.

Food was amazing and great value and a nice environment I had the Bree and bacon burger, it was really nice and well presented It was served with solid coleslaw and chips The salad had a lovely dressing on and the coleslaw was home-made My son had a picnic sandwich bag he enjoyed this too. The bread and his sandwich was very fresh and the good quality.

Arrived at 11.15 sorry sir to late for breakfast and to early for dinner .Shop opens at 10 breakfast server between 10 and 11 afternoon meals between 11 30 and 4 . So no meals bewteen 11am and 11.30. Please bring back all day beeakfast Also sort the carpark out cant park due to sunday football taking up all the spots.

The food was expensive and very average . Our table was so very sticky. Add to this we never received a smile or a pleasant word from any member of staff . So as you can imagine , we won’t be returning .

Awful place staff rude expensive and not worth the money disgustingly dirty tables. Good is appalling. Save your money don’t go

Lady in til very pleasant. Food: after a long wait on a quiet day was average. Staff in kitchen area which opens on to the restaurant very noisy and seemed to be busy talking to each other rather than prepping food. Man who seemed to be in charge wandering about seemingly doing nothing. Half hour wait for two sandwiches and one portion chips when place was largely empty if poor. Can’t imagine what it would be like on a busy day. Won’t bother again.
