The food is excellent! Staff are very friendly and highly recommended and very clean, including the toilets! It's always a good sign! The steaks highly recommend and the breakfast to! Lovely small pool area, again very clean! Think owned by a brit family who obviously have it running like clockwork for guests and punters like ourselves who call by for food! Highly recommend!

I popped in for a pint with a friend before going to a BBQ in the area. I came here on the tram and the pub is situated right next to the tram stop. It's a good location, the beers are nice and the prices were reasonable.

Really friendly barmaid, wasn't serving food, but they were expecting sandwiches being delivered. Good atmosphere and will certainly visit in the future..😊

Nice bar staff, but vile abusive drunken landlady will not be returning whist she is there. Such a shame as it’s a decent pub spoilt by a nasty old trout

Normally a 5+ star. Tonight I asked for Dizzy Blonde cask. Please make sure you pull off the first couple of pints so it doesn't taste vinegary. Phew!

A place for a pint,nothing more nothing less

Just moved to the area, we went for a quiet drink / to check it out with some friends last night (Friday), we only planned on having one drink, but it turned out they had a live singer on, he was great, we all ended up singing along, I’m not usually into Sam Smith songs, but he had the perfect voice for them, even better than Sam Smith himself to be fair to the guy. We ended up having several pints and stayed to the end of the set. Bar staff were nice and got served fast, over all a very good night.

A fabulous proper community pub, Sheila is an absolutely wonderful hostess for her customers and looks after everyone right. Great beer and a fantastic atmosphere I cannot recommend The Gardeners too highly.

Great find. We were going to watch a show at Wythenshawe Park & gmheard people talk about this pub on the coach so decided to give it a try and glad we did as the prices in the park were extortionate(we always expect to pay more but this was more than usual) . Anyway, lovely pub with great selection of drinks, lovely decor. Great size beer garden and they were also selling burgers/hotdogs. Great music & atmosphere. Highly recommended. If we go to Wythenshawe park again, we'll be staying in this pub until the start of the show

We popped in here after getting off the tram on the way to see Noel Gallagher at wythenshawe park. It was absolutely heaving with people going to the gig. The staff did a great job serving everyone in there and it was a great atmosphere.

Beer choice very good well kept bitter and lager. Lots of gins to choose from ,Staff quick to serve and pleasant. Music in the evenings at weekend, and bingo and quiz on midweek. They have thier own facebook page to advertise upcoming events. Check out gardeners arms social club on facebook.

Good pub but only ever have 1 robbys beer on, karaoke is a bit loud and isn't my thing but the quiz nights are good

Visit this pub once a month when in the area well kept ales,but there is one regular who always spoils it ,drunk and foul mouthed .stops me giving 5 stars

Strong stench of pee eminates from the gents, been like that for months, doesn't appear to be any attempt to sort it, disgusting.

If you are going to have a lock in: 1) Don't leave the doors open, not unlocked, open 2) Don't leave all the curtains open 3) Be polite to people who may frequent on a regular basis Not the usual standard from a usually great pub, and customer service only. Shame.

Nice pub with friendly bar staff and good entertainment

Always enjoy this venue on our way home as the live entertainment is simple but just that entertaining. The crowd are literally all the locals but this adds to it's vibe. We enjoy it, it's our local for sure...pity they serve no food

No hot water no way to dry your hands in the toilets

My favourite place to eat, I love it, the staff are always friendly, the food is very nice, and and inexpensive 💯

I used to love this pub, but now John has left,and "you know who " is running the pub,I wouldn't go in there if she was giving the drinks away for nothing .

Recommended by my son and his mates,came from Sale on Saturday afternoon. Really nice pub and friendly bar lady,then joined by my son. Only had soft drinks but i would definitely go back.

This is my local so I come here about once a week. Good beer and nice atmosphere. I usually pop in on Friday after work so it's not hard to get a table. They do a quiz and live music. All in all a really nice little pub.

Lovely local pub with good outside area. Its a shame the staff aren't better. Been a few times always wait ages to get served and get ignored . Been left waiting when bar staff chose to serve people they know even though you have waited longer. Surely it makes sense to be nice to new customers to grow the business

Social distance is a problem small outside garden and just really uncomfortable to be in would not visit again didnt see staff clean once people walking to other tables all the time avoid this place

Mediocre pub, mainly for seniors. There is bingo on Tuesdays however the owners can be disrespectful and highly rude. Some beverages are quite expensive to other places.

Brilliant pub, even more enhanced with it's recent refurbishment! I come from Cambridgeshire, and always try to call in whenever I am visiting my son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter, who live a short walk away! It combines everything.. A comfortable traditional, 'local'....entertainment... and a lovely Beer Garden at the back for families and more...! 😁 I wish it wasn't 170 miles away! 😔

Had a great night. The entertainment was fantastic a good musician and a reasonable singer got every one up rocking. Clean comfortable put with great friendly staff. My wife and I have never been in the pub before and was visiting my brother and his wife. Will visit again :-D

Broke up with my ex here so was happy well happy to be able to have a few drinks and meet someone else that same night.

One bar staff was very rude the woman with light brown hair she needs to learn customer service 😡😡
