Garden Court Restaurant in Wolverhampton

We had a wonderful stay. The staff are what makes this place amazing. From reception to bar staff to kitchen staff. They were all a delight and so friendly. Nothing was too much for them. There were games provided in the bar area for the children. We would definitely stay again. Rooms are a little small for a family but would definitely come back again.

Good parking. Warm welcome. At the race course. Excellent staff, good facilities and excellent food. Especially the homemade soup.

Convenient access, large parking lot, orderliness. A place not only for horse lovers, other hobbyists will also find interesting events here. Today, one of the regular photography fairs was held here

Stayed for one night on a Sunday before onward travel.. Warm friendly welcome at check in. Room needs TLC. Plaster missing from walls, flaking ceiling paint in bathroom, mouldy sealant. You cannot fault the staff, sorted TV issue out immediately. All friendly and helpful. Not sure it’s worth the £85 a night.

Nice Hotel, which i will great, then a 9/10. The one mark, i will keep for myself because of the technical fault they have in one of their toilet in room 107, that does not work perfectly but i hope it has to be fix now because i complained about it to the receptionist to further mail the technician or the responsible one. But all in all, that's the best hotel so far. All my visitation in Uk was spent in that hotel 🏨. Any Body planing to visit Birmingham should have this as their place lf stay. Thank you 😊

A lady named rose dealt with my sons ADHD/Autism and Anxiety with pure kindness thoughtfulness and sensitivity me and my son are really pleased to have met her and the hotel all together make sure to come here will we be back soon

The staff here are very welcoming and friendly, I was a little nervous as it was the first time I had travelled solo and I had just driven 4 hrs, I was put at ease by the lovely receptionist ( Rebecca?) and I felt very safe and looked after well during my stay. The room was modern and very clean, a nice little welcoming note from the cleaning staff too :). Easy parking, nice quiet room, late check out and great location for visiting the Theatre. I highly recommend this hotel, the best I have stayed in for years! :)

I had some issues with our stay, it was addressed promptly by the Staff. Its an ageing hotel, however the place has large ground to explore. On the breakfast buffet, their pork sausages was the best I had.

Would never stay there again trains at 3 o’clock in the morning good night it was up all night unbelievable when I reported it to the front desk she said she knows about it she stays local it’s a nightmare and then I’ll report it to the manager and she said that never had a problem before and that she works there since 1998 clearly a lie she’s been harassing me for videos my advice pass it on

Their rooms are very clean and organise, nice receptionist and also very polite on phone. Available on phone immediately when you call and price also very affordable. Attached is the picture of the Holiday Inn which I spend the night of breaking the 06.04.2024. I recommend this Hotel to any Tourist Planing to visit Birmingham for holiday. Nice location

Really enjoyed our stay we had for the Bank Holiday race meeting. Our room was good; clean and spacious and plenty of sockets and wardrobe space plus we were overlooking the parade ring! Every single member of staff we came in contact with were professional and very chirpy friendly. Food was good too, especially that fabulous breakfast 😋

Great friendly staff at this holiday inn at a racecourse. Seems out of town but doesn't take too long to get in. Bonus of a ev charger and it was quiet. Rooms are fine but can imagine hotel on race days very busy Breakfast is very good really enjoyed it after a concert in town and got back without a kebab in hand. One I'd return to.

Great night racing and a good nights sleep lovely breakfast as well. We will be back.

The food is OK and the Service is excellent.Very comfortable and enjoyable watching the racing from the restaurant.The quality of the food is average,our starter the ham hock tart had hard pastry ,the sea bass was good and the sweet OK. My wife's beef was a little tough not the best and our coffees were only luke warm. The food quality needs improvement.Otherwise an enjoyable day.I think the Hotel needs a make over .The actual racing facilities are excellent.

Great location for the races Rooms were a bit dated and stains on walls ceilings and doors No conditioner Hairdryer didn't work All this was reported to reception But they did an ok breakfast for the cost.

This place is absolutely terrible and the amount of disrespect we received is unacceptable. Although the receptionist was very helpful, the rest of the so called ‘hotel’ was a pure disgrace. We ordered some food and waited a good hour for it to arrive. The food arrived and not only was it cold, but even my dog wouldn’t eat this. It was absolutely disgusting and this was the first time in my life when I had to complain about it and ask for a refund as I refused to eat something so revolting. The rooms were filthy and cold, the bathrooms look like they haven’t been cleaned in years and the stench is unbearable. Avoid this place!!

For a budget hotel it offers a lot ... excellent position literally in the racecourse so plenty of green open space around you. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms serviced daily ...breakfast is plentiful and varied.

Been here a few times for the firework display. Great place to take kids and lots to do. I was really looking forward to the bonfire but for some reason this year they didn't have one.

My stay at the Holiday Inn was spot on, very friendly staff, and the food from the restaurant was brilliant. Will stay again if I am in the area.

Suitable for family stay. It’s better to drive to here, since inconvenient for public transportation. Free parking.

Went here for the Halloween tattoo bash...considering the amount of ppl attending and artists there was ample free parking

A good place for me to stop if I'm in town to watch Wolves play. Walkable distance to the Molineux, plenty of parking and if you get a room, a parade facing room is good on race day.

L'hôtel est isolé de la ville, nécessité d'avoir une voiture. La propreté de la chambre est bien mais la literie une horreur ! C'est lamentable dans un hotel d'avoir des matelas aussi pourris ! Le bruit chambre mal isolé entre enfants qui crient et incivilités ce n'est pas la bas que vous allez vous reposer. Le cadre est très beau par contre et le personnel aimable. Ne vous attendez pas à un hotel haut de gamme, bien dommage. Pas d'eau dans les chambres c'est la base !

Staff very accomodating especially Kye and reception staff whose name I forget. In terms of security the corridor doors needs some attention.

Descent hotel but quality service. Really lovely welcome from Megan at the front desk and we then was met by an amazing woman named Jackie Harpeep, in the bar area. Jackie was extremely helpful and amazing with children, she literally went above and above and beyond. Thank you so much.

Not the standard you expect from a Holiday Inn but friendly staff and a great location. If you are in to horse racing than this is the perfect spot......as long as there is a meeting on the day you are staying 😀

Stayed just the one night but all the staff, without exception, were brilliant. Very attentive. Even at night when I asked to move to another room (some noise coming from people sitting outside the bar at the back) they couldn't have helped more to get me to a quieter room at the front of the hotel. I've stayed at a number of Holiday Inns and, in terms of staff, none were better than Wolverhampton racecourse

I stayed here for work and it’s isolated from shops and local amenities, but fine if you drive. The room was relatively clean, but there was a faint whiff of pee by the loo, which on the one hand is where that smell should be, but on the other, indicates that a good deep clean in and around the toilet is needed. I had a hair dryer and iron at my disposal, as well as a kettle and complimentary teas, coffee etc. The best thing about this hotel was the lovely, polite and helpful staff. I was greeted every morning and evening with a really warm smile and a quick chat, which was most welcomed especially when you’re away from home and all that’s familiar to you. Surprisingly, the food was really good too! Although choice was a bit limited for non meat eaters, what was on offer was a good sized portion, fresh and well prepared. I’m not a huge fan of chips, but these where nice, crispy and how I imagine the ideal chip to be! I’d return to this Holiday Inn.

Really nice room. Very clean which is always what I look at most.Staff from the coffee and bar staff to the security were really friendly and very helpful. Obviously incredibly handy for the racecourse. First time I've been though my husbands visited before. I would definitely have no hesitation in coming again, and would recommend it.

Always get a nice welcome everytime we have stayed here. The room was lovely and the aircon ensured the room stayed at a nice temperature. The breakfast was great. They even went out of there way to make us some vegetarian sausages which were very tasty! I would highly recommend this place. I won't mention that I would be happy to pay more, just in case they read this!

Well if you want to go to the races, this the place. The hotel is part of the main buildings. An all weather course floodlit and they have up to 80 meets a year!

Good location for the racing with views over the parade ring. Plenty of parking on site The rooms are smaller and not as well equipped as those of Hilton and Marriott.

This hotel is well placed for travelling football fans - 20 min walk to Molineux. Really friendly helpful and professional staff throughout. We had an evening meal which was very good quality and value for money. An enjoyable stay.

We stayed here for the horse racing, we had a room overlooking the parade ring. Room was lovely, bed was super comfy. Breakfast in the morning was delicious aswell. Will definitely stay again.

My local Course. I live in Uttoxeter. Course is great although quite expensive to get in at times. £32 on New Years Day!! On the big race days the drunken yobo element seems to be prevelent. At getting on for £5a pint they must have money to burn!!! At times it's an uncomfortable atmosphere have seen many fights break out recently!!! Shame as love the Course!!
