Went to the Bar and was told that you had to scan the QR code on the table to order drinks. Scanned QR and was sent to a number of different sites which would not let you get off them, 1 min later received 2 text messages for adverts and stated I had been charged ÂŁ1.50 per message. Managed to cancel that. On checking bank the next day found out same company had taken ÂŁ46.75 out of my bank, when I contacted them they told me it was a subscription to a dating site I had signed up too previous day. All this was linked to the QR code I had scanned. Too make matter worse I could not even order drinks on the stupid app. I have contacted site to ask them to ensure QR codes on site have not been tampered with leading to this scam. Beware of table 20 !!!!!!!!

Lovely big garden around the church, my cat Nova loved playing in the bushes and chasing the little bugs. I had a hot chocolate with whipped cream which was delicious! The staff were all really lovely and one of them made a fuss over Nova (which we love) I’m pretty sure there was some faint music on too which was nice. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because you can’t pay at the bar itself, you have to order on an app, which means you can’t pay with cash and I really don’t like it when places don’t let you pay with cash (my partner is a tattoo artist so we have cash a lot and not being able to pay with cash is pretty marginalising.

Nice spot, good service but the toilets have no water to wash your hands which is very off putting and just one bin outside the loos, no sanitary bins

Sadly, we did not get one decent photo of this moving stop. The weather was miserable--which is not uncommon The church was bombed in WW 2 and is left to remind us all of how stupid wars are. The city was a industrial hub and a serious target. Much was destroyed, but some good ones remain. The architecture of the city is very diverse and interesting. Many nice buildings of interest and historic note. The city is large and has a lot more to it than the Beadles! However, you do get a big dose of them!

It's a nice place to be when the sun is out but these guys could do so much better. Toilets are portacabins and really disgusting. Drinks are expensive; gin and tonics are served with bottles of 'fever tree' tonic but they're not opened in front of you so could really be any value mixer. Our bottles looked 'second hand' and to be honest didn't taste like the real deal.

Reserved a table, ÂŁ5 non-refundable, and expected to have a few drinks and eat here. On arrival we were told there was no food, and that someone should have phoned that day to let us know, but unsurprisingly they hadn't. The next hour was spent having a couple of drinks whilst looking for somewhere else to eat. If we'd eaten here I wouldn't mind the ÂŁ5 non-refundable reservation charge, but as food service was off for the night I feel a little aggrieved having to pay it. If I were you, don't reserve a table anmd just turn up but be aware food may not be being served.

i travelled from chester last weekend with my father-in-law who wished to see the memorial on your front lawn we wasnt dissapointed, we were blown away with your church and your garden area being used as a bar for hot and cold drinks was a added bonus. we could not have asked for a more greater day and the young lad i believe his name was lee was security, but he could have been a host or tour guide was absolutly fantastic, the place was busy and he just seemed to find the time to welcome each and every person in a polite manner commonly unheard of from most security and the fact he served for i believe 10-12 years in the forces he and my father-in-law hit it off. we will definatly be returning in the near future we also would like to donate to the church and that will take place sometime this week. again thank you so much for what you have done to this remarkable building. 10/10

I booked a table yesterday for a few drinks and maybe some pizza, The weather was unpredictable and unfortunately as we arrived the rain was very heavy and even the chairs that had umbrellas over them where wet. We spoke to the bouncer/check in guy who stated that it may be best to come back their was literally nobody else in and the rain was pretty bad. We went to another bar and after an hour decided to return as the rain had stopped and we wanted some food. As we approached we where told that our table had been given away to somebody else and all other tables had been booked. So they where happy to take my deposit for a 2 hour time slot , i turned up at the correct time decided to come back when the rain had stopped so in the meantime gave my table away but no offer to refund my deposit. I can understand giving a table away for no shows but we turned up and said who we were and what our booking was, then was advised to come back and bang sorry we gave your table away, absolutely the worst customer service ever!!!

Pre booked and track and traced our visit to The Garden Bar ,St Luke's Church ( Bombed Out Church ) was super. Allocated a table on a beautiful Spring afternoon , we were shown a menu were we had our order delt with via our mobile app on our phones ,we opted to have an ipa each ,these beers were serves in exceptional condition, we just kicked back, chilled out and soaked up the sun while sipping our beers. I've been looking forward to visiting here for months, been a few times ,love it ,great pizza, great beers, our ipa's were excellent, well balanced, full bodied and bursting with taste, very easy to drink, a beer style both myself and my twin brother Stephen are particularly fond of, we really enjoyed our beers in here and the great vibe so much so that we ended up staying for another couple of ipa's each before moving on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Garden Bar ,St Luke's Church ( Bombed Out Church) is easy to locate along Leece Street, a great bar ,well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Walking around the wonderful Georgian Quarter there are so many great places to visit ,the architecture is superb and the pubs, bars and restaurants brilliant and combining both is Garden Bar Bombed Out Church, a wonderful building, a poignan war memorial and an open air bar . I've visited here several times since its opened, great craft beers and delicious pizza meals set in a great garden area with the stunning St Luke's Church ( Bombed Out Church ) as a beautiful backdrop, a new year brings new hope, the vaccine rollout is superb, 15 million people have had the jab ,its looking good ,the beginning of the end of this pandemic is in sight and bars such as Garden Bar Bombed Out Church will most definitely benefit when the 3rd and final national lockdown is lifted and I can look forward to revisiting this beautiful and popular bar again. Most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Just after the 1st coronavirus pandemic lockdown restrictions were lifted and pre tier three coronavirus pandemic restrictions that ultimately led to the 2nd lockdown my twin brother Stephen and I were pub hopping around this part of town when we decided to drop into this very cool bar located in the gardens of the Bombed Out Church ( St Luke's Church ) and what a great time we had. We gave our details of name and phone number to assist with the governments track and trace system and then sanitised our hands and ordered an ipa each over the mobile app ,these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back and took in the great bar we were in. My ipa was exceptional, a rich, hoppy and really tasty ipa bursting with taste, very easy to drink, a beer style both myself and my twin brother Stephen are particularly fond of,it was just so good being in such a lovely bar in such a great location enjoying a quality brew. This is a really cool open air bar ,its only opened this year ,hope it does really well ,the bar couldn't have got off to a worst start ,a world wide pandemic and two lockdowns but with a vaccine eminent in December 2020 things should really go this bars way as its such a great bar ,one I really enjoy visiting. We really enjoyed our ipa's in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Garden Bar Bombed Out Church is easy to locate along Leece Street in the grounds of the St Lukes Church, most definitely well worth a visit if you're in the area.

We were having a few drinks around the top end of Liverpool and although we have walked past " the bombed out church" many times, it's the first time we have been in the garden bar. Ideal at this time, with plenty of space, and on phone ordering. Being technophobes, we struggled with this, but a helpful member of staff took our order, and delivered in no time. Prices were good, and drinks excellent, and I even forgive the fact of plastic glasses, my personal pet hate. Friendly staff, excellent drinks, well wort a stop on a nice day
