Garam Masala in Sheffield

Been using cafe masala for over 15 years. Huge portions, always arrive fresh and very tasty. Tried a few Indian restaurants, but CM in our opinion can’t be beaten.

Cafe Masala is our favourite curry house and the food is always delicious. This evening when I ordered for my family I somehow managed to forget my 9 year old daughters meal. Phoned cafe masala and they went over and above and delivered within 20mins. So grateful and impressed, thanks again

If you don't mind waiting upwards of an hour for delivery, the food is great (especially the tandoori butter chicken), and well worth the money. Despite the delivery times, the food has always arrived hot, and I haven't had a complaint since I started ordering from here 2 years ago.

Always good food from here, I live in Walkley so arrives promptly, great value for money with the set meal. The tandoori starter is great too. Can’t understand the negative reviews, I’ve been ordering from here for years, it’s always been superb.

Had food from here a few times now. No complaints about quality or price. But! And a big but, the delivery service is very poor. The first time we ordered we were waiting nearly 2 hours. I ended up walking there to pick it up only to get a call from my wife saying it'd arrived whilst I was out. I'd rang to check where it was and couldn't get through. I've seen other reviews that seem to agree with this. They've also permenantly got an advert for delivery drivers in the window so I suspect this is part of the problem. Great curry house for collection as we're 5 mins away.

Our dinner came 10mins late but worth the wait and we did order nye!fab hot and really delicious. We would have no problem recommending such a lovely Indian takeaway

Meal Ordered via Uber Eats at 07:30pm Message received back from Cafe Masala order received and expected delivery time at 08:15 to 08:30 pm. At 10:00pm no meal and no explanation as to why no show. Meal Cancelled at 10:00pm.. How long does it take to cook a meal and deliver from Walkley to Wisewood on a Monday evening. For the future Cafe Masala I choose to take my custom elsewhere. And I would say to anybody else if your hungry and fancy a curry take away, avoid this place.

First Take Away From This Establishment : Arrived promptly and was very hot (the food) Meal was well spiced with generous portions Struggled to finish Local to me so will order again when I fancy a Ruby as we say Daaan Saaarf 😉

I got reccomended this through a friend and even if I have to cross to the other side of Sheffield I would haha. Decent place. Tasty curries. You get what you expect and leave feeling satisfied

Had a takeaway from here last night. The first one in a long time and it did not disappoint. I always get worried when u order a takeaway early that I’ll end up with yesterday’s leftovers but this clearly wasn’t the case. The good was so fresh and ingredients were great quality. I’d highly recommend the mixed tandoori grill. The king prawns were delicious. Won’t be leaving it so long before I order again.

Ordered from here a few times now; their meal for two is a great deal, and you get popadoms, two rice, two naan and two curries for £20. The best korma ever, and the rice is phenomenal!

Food dumped on doorstep didn't even wait to make sure it was the right house. We had a Doner Kebab and a Chicken tikka on Nann, It was cold and dryer than the Sahara Desert. Thought it was a great place for food but obviously mistake. First and last time we will be ordering from there.

Website poor doesn’t explain what each one is on set menus so my order was wrong, so ok can’t blame them for that, what I got was absolutely vile but then my husband said his was terrible anyway!! Thank god for the 2 popadoms Ended up throwing it in the bin, don’t waste your money

We ordered for delivery due to the lockdown. This is the first time we have ever eaten anything from here and we were really impressed. The food was piping hot when it arrived and all of it was very tasty and nicely spiced.

We ordered four different Dishes to be delivered, we were advised to wait 65 minutes, it came after 55. Wife had the £13 Meal Deal, she was full after her Starter and Nan so her Mains is Lunch for tomorrow, I had Tandoori Mix Grill with Rice and Bumbay Potatoes, I was full after half of it so, More leftovers for Lunch tomorrow. All very tasty and freshly prepared. Well worth a repeat visit.

Seen a few negative reviews for this place but went on a friend's recommendation. Did not disappoint! Really flavoursome and well cooked food with prompt delivery. Very nice place

I haven’t had a takeaway from here for a year or so and won’t be using again. I ordered via their website at 7 for a curry to be delivered at 8.15. It is now 9.45 and no sign of it. Family celebration ruined.

Over the past 6 months when working nights me and a work friend always order from cafe masala and has always been absolutely delicious and fresh the meat is truly scrumptious!! Recommend the tandoori platter starter and lamb methi main with special rice 🤤

Pity because the food is great, but I've had the same delivery driver every time I've ordered in the past few months who's never once said please, thank you or even hi. Possibly one of the rudest blokes I've ever had come to my house.

one of the worst indian meals i,ve had tastless stodgy naan bread, stale popadum, runny tastless chutney, oily veg curry and dry/overcooked biriani with dry chicken, went straight in the bin, how can they turn rubbish out like this.

So ordered from here last night was told 40 minutes for collection, went to collect it after 40 minutes to then have to wait another 45 minutes! Absolutely disgusting service, very rude and no apologies! Will not be ordering from here again!

Consistently good take away for both meat and veggie dishes. Chana chot potti and aubergine dishes plus bringal gosht particularly recommended!

Rang and ordered a takeaway for delivery at 10.00 pm, after waiting 2 hours I rang back at 12 oclock because it hadn't arrived and was told they hadn't received an order from me!!! Crap service, won't ever use them again.

What can I say but this has to be one of the best, if not the best Indian takeaways around. No wonder it has won curry awards. Restaurant quality food at takeaway prices. Well done & keep up the good work.

I always have the chicken korma, which is very creamy, but occasionally the chicken can be a bit chewy and then other times the chicken just falls apart. I do need to try other curries to try on their menu. The Aloo Chop is lovely...

Been here lots of times and had some great meals. Some very nice dishes. Tend to have same thing most of the time.

I eat indian food quit a lot and this is up there the staff is so friendly and helpful with all the different dishes the lamb furchie is wicked just add a spoon of naga for a extra kick can't wait for my next one....
