Been coming to Gandhi's Restaurant for a few years now. Incredible food, service and staff. Highly recommended.

Love it here! Had the banquet menu with a starter, main, side and dessert for £14.95 and it’s well worth the money! Always the best service and we will continue to spend many birthdays in Gandhi! Thank you

Can be hit and miss usually pretty good. I've always had free poppadoms and dips with takeaway. Never eaten in but it's always busy. Good service and usually have wait extra 5 or 10 minutes but most time worth it.

Love it at Gandi's. The food is excellent and the staff are lovely and caring. Remeber guests by name and dietary needs. Very good with dietary requirements too and let people know what they can and can't eat and will make substitutes for any dish.

Just been for Christmas lunch with family and friends what a lovely meal and service could not do enough food was delicious and they make you feel like part of the family well done to all the staff .

I've used Gandhi indian restaurant a few times now since moving to the area and iv got to say the place is fantastic. The food is top quality, I've enjoyed every dish iv tried and look forward to trying more. The restaurant is always busy but with a great atmosphere, the staff are always polite and very welcoming you can tell they always want you to have a good experience. I usually grab a drink from the Hunter pub next door and they bring my takeaway into me which is a nice touch.

We had a take away from here a few months ago after hearing great things - we've never eaten in (hence the 5 stars for atmosphere and service, it'd be unfair to mark down for a place I've never been). The food was okay, not bad and certainly not worth a complaint, but not good enough that I'd rush back. It was edible, but a bit on the tasteless side for me. Didn't complain, the food was eaten. Since then, I've had endless text messages and emails with offers. I've tried to unsubscribe, but the 'Unsubscribe' link in their emails, simply takes you to the menu. This is a breach of GDPR and could lead to a costly fine if reported. If by the new year I cannot unsubscribe from both your emails and text marketing, I'll make the complaint.

Have wanted to go here for a long time, finally got the chance today. What a fantastic place, the food was amazing and the Monday to Thursday offer of £14.95 for four courses not to be missed. We had so much delicious to eat that we skipped dessert, which is really unlike us. I can highly recommend this place what a gem!

Ordered takeaway last night Ate starters and on opening main the main meal had been sent wrong and was a dish we would not eat Rang restraunt who replaced whole meal with hot food in record time Food delicious and service was outstanding Not often you find a restaurant with this dedication to its customers Would highly recommend and will be a regular user in future Thank you to the staff for being so understanding

Unfortunately this will be the last time we order from this restaurant. We have had a couple of ok experiences in the past, but the last couple of occasions the waiting times for deliveries has been nothing short of farcical. We have been waiting 3 hours (as it stands) for a delivery which is absolutely unacceptable. We called 2 hours in which is bad enough, and the order was apparently “on the way” but we hit the 3 hour mark and nothing. After calling for a second time they were going to “get back to us” but they never bothered. Luckily the FoodHub lady worked her behind off to get in touch with them and we managed to get some money off. We got the food eventually.. 10.20pm, 3.5 HOURS after ordering. Don’t waste your time, it’s not even that good. Or if you do want to waste your time, put an order in a week before you want the food, you might get it one day! No guarantees though.

Came as a party of 6 last night, been meaning to try this place out for ages based on reviews and word of mouth, we were not dissapointed everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals, I had the garlic chicken which was amazing and the nicest peshwari naan I've ever had, one tip though the rice portions are massive so unless you've got a big appetite they are easily sharable between 2 people, you can see why this place has won awards its a step above your average curry house, would highly recommend Ghandis and we will definitely be returning

We had the 4 course deal it was great , starter, main curry was really good service fabulous will be going again . You definitely need to book as we went on Wednesday and from 7pm was packed . Definitely recommend

11 of us went for a last night and I would definitely recommend going, I couldn’t eat all my meal due to being too much for myself to eat however, loved every single mouthful. No rush to get rid of us and not pestering us for anything else and nothing too much trouble. Price worked out about £20 per person so great value . Looking forward to seeing them again (soon).

Lovely food. Been going here (and having delivery) for several years now and it is consistently excellent with very friendly and helpful service. Wins awards for quality on a regular basis and they are well deserved. I normally go for the spicy side of things (because that's what I like), but tonight I decided to step out of my normal zone, and had the Butter Chicken. Oh. My. Word. It is hard to come up with a word to describe what the folks at Gandhi do to this dish. But the best I can do is "sensuous". It is a dish that just demands descriptions bordering on the "Mills and Boon" level of romance. Almost obscenely good, it is a place for your taste buds to just wallow in a level of indulgence that should not be allowed. Worth coming out of your way to eat here.

First time visiting this gem this evening. Absolutely loved it. Staff were really pleasant and polite. Food and plates were hot. Stunning presentation of food. Food was amazing and flavoursome. Couldn't fault anything, would highly recommend. This is definitely my place to go now for an excellent curry. Wasn't sure if I should of tucked into the garnish, it was a work of art in itself but I did.

Visited for dine in by looking at award in their website on my wife birthday last month I don't know what was considered for giving this award the food is not proper Indian food the name Indian food was not justified it doesn't even taste the authentic flavor there is no portion of food instead of the salad was filled the service was good but no hygiene me and my wife was sick after having the meal and I also wonder how they got four star reviews on the top I visited few restaurants Indian restaurants which is best compared to here I also wonder all the reviews are genuine or not

Our second visit within two weeks. Fantastic service and the food was delicious. We are over on holiday from Australia and going home tomorrow otherwise there would be many more visits to this amazing restaurant. All the little extra touches make all the difference. I can see why they have won so many awards. Well deserved. The staff are very attentive and the Monday to Thursday special is great value. Do yourself a favour and try this restaurant.

I have been a regular at this restaurant for some time, but unfortunately finding it hard to justify going back. Have always enjoyed the £14.95 deal on the week nights but they have seriously cut down on the quality and quantity of the dishes. I must of gone there over 12 times and the last 4 really haven't been worth it. An example would be the Prawn Purie, it's half of the size it used to be. The mains contain little meat compared with before and padded with extra onions. The desert is also disappointing as it has always been Mango Rice Pudding, even though has been advertised as different. It's with great regret that I post this but the owners need to take stock. If you have to increase your prices to do the same standard of food that a customer has been accustomed to, then do it. Don't pretend your offering the same standard for the same price. Also if you research the 'curry awards' you will see they are not as impressive as being made out to be..

First visit - loved it! Staff very welcoming and friendly, service was a little disorganised, but in no way a problem. The food was just SUPERB! The 4 course midweek offer kept the bill pleasingly low too. We'll be back!

We visited here at peak time on a Friday night and they were more than accommodating, rushing aside to set up a table for 2. The staff are very polite and welcoming and have suggestions from the menu. Food was really nice and served in good portions. This resturant was mentioned to us as it has a rural location. The resturant car park only has a few spaces for parking and the walk in has you doubting your decision with the unkept shed outback and uneven gravel and patio but as soon as you walk through the door you are greeted with the aromatic indian cuisine and welcoming staff. I would definitely visit again.

Dined in tonight 4 adults 3 children 1 baby. First time eating here. Staff were lovely, very welcoming, helpful and great service. Food was delicious from starters to mains. We all ate well and enjoyed everything we ordered great attention to detail. Definitely be back.

Watch out when booking as they try and fit in more than the one booking without notification, so our courses were rushed and spoilt a lovely evening even with offering free drinks in the bar so that they could have the table could not make up for a relaxed and pleasant evening

Overall a great experience. Busy Saturday night, nice venue, fresh, tasty food and excellent service. Set behind the Hunter pub which is a locals pub for sure. The restaurant is quite different. Only dropped a star because the curries though rated 2 chillies were milder than our taste. You never know how high restaurants set the bar for hotness!! Would recommend.

I just fall in love with Their dishes and with lovely stuff specially i mention everyone to have one meal course in this restaurant. Environment are so lovely with delicious food. King prawn puri, chicken Tikka masala, And starter items are really fantastic.

Ordered three curries and biryani. Generally small portions. I get better curries in a supermarket. Lack of ingredients, sauce and meet, no vegetables. Cheese Naan with very little cheese. Very average quality. Also had to wait 15 extra minutes for collection.
