Game of cones is a short walk from the centre of Fowey. If you don’t fancy a walk there are 2 car parks minutes away. Offering a wide range of ice cream flavours, with something for all the family including sorbets and dog ice cream! £18 for 3 cones(honey comb, biscotti and lemon sorbet), 1 tub (2 scoops of mint ice cream) and a dog ice cream for under £18 great price!

Amazing. Simply. Fantastic. Great portion and flavours. Place was themed as game of thrones with dragons everywhere. Great selection of icecream with some really unique ones!

Amazing bubble waffles and crepes that tasted delicious! The owner was very friendly and helpful would definitely go again!

We live locally in Fowey, and fancied a walk into town (and an ice cream!). We decided to walk along to the Game of Cones, and boy, were we glad we did. The selection of flavours, cones and extras was huge! We placed our order, and we weren’t disappointed. Large scoops of soft, creamy ice cream on lovely, crunchy, fresh waffle cones with a chocolate flake …. Divine!! The ice creams were excellent value, and absolutely delicious, far exceeding any ice cream parlour we’ve ever been to before. The young man who served us, was friendly, polite and very smiley. Thank you for making our experience at the Game of Cones a brilliant one. We will 100% be back …. definitely trying the crepes next time!! Thank you 🤩

Nice lunch at Han[s Crab Shack opposite and dessert at Game of cones . High quality ices and waffles. Actually repeated the visit a few times as the ices are so good. What can be better than sitting on the riverbank with a double salted caramel cone watching the Bodnnick ferry and a host of sailing boats ass by. Owner is friendly and very entertaining. It is a must do!

Plenty of flavours to choose form. Lady behind the counter is so lovely. Had birthday cake with sprinkles and a flake, and rhubarb custard soso good. Just the best service. You must go

Birthday Cake Ice Cream is my all time favourite! So many to choose from but I always plump for one flavour and my partner had three! I'm not even the biggest ice cream fan and the flavour has now changed me with bits of cake all in it! Haha!

Not sure if you were still in business but the queue outside gave it away. Still a great choice of ice cream flavours. In these times felt very comfortable with the system in place for serving and found the staff very accommodating. Great ice cream.

Sadly, came across 2 girls working there- pretty dim but more worryingly they insisted that ice cream supplied was sorbet.Was not sorbet but was still charged for it.Shame as produces looked ok.

Always top drawer. First class service as ever (those people saying the staff are rude are on a different planet - they're lovely) and more importantly first class ice cream and (top tip) you'll get a bottle of smart water for a pound here, you'll pay twice that in town!We visited twice this year, once on our own and again with our teen son. He didn't stop talking about the ice cream all the way back to our rental. The shop is doing its very best to protect customers from the crappy covid whilst still making it a fun experience. Hats off to you. We will see you again next year

Have tasted many coffees in Fowey and I have to say that this is the best! Cappuccino is my thing and this one is lush! Ice Creams are out of this world , my daughter had the ‘Birthday Cake’ flavour (I didn’t know there was such a thing!) and absolutely loved it! Lovely, friendly, happy staff. Highly recommend x

A week travelling Cornwall, I have tried many Ice creamS in many places. This was by a thousand marathons the BEST ice cream I have ever had! With 33 flavours to choose from, they are all SO good!! The couple that run this place were so friendly and generous and made it a trip to remember! My advice, to go Fowey ... have an ice cream from 'Game of Cones' ... you'll never want to eat ice crewm from anywhere else again!! OUTSTANDINGLY DELICIOUS!!! Thank you so much!!

Our first lockdown easing trip has brought us to the area, to see friends, which we did last year. We visited this fabulous ice cream parlour last year and took a photo of our two boys enjoying a well earned ice cream outside the shop sign. This year we had to come back and get our fix of the great ice cream flavours! My youngest son wanted us to make the trip and yet again the ice cream cones were great, even our dog got a tub of ‘doggie ice cream’. Of course we got our updated photo! Everyone was so lovely and nice, we even spoke with the owner and his partner. We had a lovely conversation with them and look forward to seeing the parlour, their staff and them again next year! Of course the ice cream as well!!! 10 out of 10.

Very disappointing! Came here last year, lovely staff & delicious ice cream. Came here again today (2020) and staff non-engaging, unfriendly, very bland tasting ice cream & ice cream cone completely crumbled whilst eating. All round very disappointing

My partner and I stopped for a flying visit to fowey before going home to st austell, we both ordered and ice cream he had a rhubarb and custard and I had morello cherry which were superb! The person who served us was a lovely guy and quite charismatic

What a lot to choose from so many flavours in a cone finger licking good. Reasonable prices and topping as well.

In our two weeks in Fowey we’ve had three visits here and each one has seen us study the extensive menu and deliberate carefully! We love our ice creams and Game of Cones has some brilliantly named milkshakes available as well as many gorgeous ice cream flavors. The staff we’ve met have all been helpful and full of advice to help us make our choices. It is well worth the walk a little bit further around the harbour to get here, we wouldn’t go anywhere else for ice creams, milkshakes and great customer service!

We popped in this afternoon on our way home after visiting Fowey. Wide variety of flavours, great cones and dog biscuits on offer too! Really delicious ice cream.

Imaginatively themed ice cream parlour , although how long GOT will remain as popular as it is now. Customers get to choose which “house “ their ice cream flavour is from. Only disappointment was my son felt the lemon ice cream lacked depth / intensity of flavour .

Was crabbing with my family and wanted a coffee. Stumbled upon this place and fancied a ice coffee. I bought a ice coffee for myself and a white coffee for my husband. Excellent service and I went with the recommendation of a sugar in my ice coffee and wow it’s the best I have ever had. Really friendly staff

Location ideal, opposite the car park after the ferry crossing. Friendly staff. My daughter had the honey and ginger ice cream and it was delicious.

A SUPERB selection of tasty ices for all the family. My wife especially enjoyed her mint choc chip and pretending she was (briefly) one of the dragons.

Fantastic service today. The party had ice creams and milkshakes and all were very well prepared. They tasted delicious. The staff were brilliant and very welcoming and coped with the large party of 11 of all ages.

Wifey had a lovely ice cream... the dog had a handful of doggy treats... and I had a rather splendid milkshake - the milkshake made in a most entertaining fashion... just don't worry about the calories!

As my niece skipped animatedly towards Game of Cones relying on my promise of an ice cream, having noticed the sheer look of disappointment transform this little girl’s sunny disposition as we slowly realised the shop closed at 6pm and it was now 6.40pm, the owner approached us from across the road and offered to reopen just to serve us! Of course, we obliged, and the ice cream was delicious.Many thanks, we’ll be back!

We went there today there was 19 of us we all piled into the shop, the service was brilliant, fun and accommodating. The ice creams and milkshakes were AMAZING! Would defiantly recommend it if your in the area.

Two words, bleddy ansome' .... amazing coconut ice cream and friendly staff! Close to the Boddinick ferry, just what you need on a hot day for a ferry crossing!

Found this little gem of a place by chance on the outskirts of town and was immediately enticed in. The choice caters for everything and the quality was excellent. Well worth a visit.

To say I LOVE Ice Cream is an understatement, I am worse that a child in a sweet shop! My favourite is Bubblegum and Coconut with all the trimmings lol. I once had a Mandarin Ice Cream in the south of France many year ago which was amazing, but have never come across it again! However, last year when in Polperro I found Mango Ripple, absolute heaven! To cut a long story short I went back this year to find to my horror they had discontinued it, not happy! My partner Carl was then on a mission to find me some from somewhere, ha ha bless him. On our next to last day in Fowey we came across “Game of Cones” which is amazing, they had Mango Madness which got me interested! Carl decided to tease me and tell the very helpful owner about my disappointment with not having the Mango Ripple, so the challenge was set and WOW did he deliver, I had a twelve layer of Coconut, Vanilla and Mango with actual Mango chunks, it was delicious. Customer service outstanding, thank you sooooo much, I will definitely be back next year.

Very wise and efficient gent showed me the best way to count.... with ice cream!..... don’t know if I’ve quite mastered the art of counting yet though. May need to go back for further training!

We have just visited Game of Cones ice cream shop in Fowey. As its title suggests there is a connection to Game of Thrones. All the flavours are groups into House names. Fabulous ice cream which is approved by our mini wire-haired Dachshund Toby.

WOW what can I say but the best milkshake I've had so far outside of America. I had a Braavos Espresso milkshake today and the owner said I was in for a treat, well he didn't disappoint. Although I think I had my whole daily calorie intake in that milkshake but was worth every hip sticking calorie. Both husband and son said the ice cream they had was also the best. So many different flavours, makes a change from the standard choice.

This is a highly recommended stop in Fowey, keep going from the centre towards the ferry, An absolute treat not to be missed, huge choice GENEROUSLY loaded cones very friendly customer service. A must for Ice cream fans a great take on the popular HBO programme too...

What a lovely place. Gave our lovely pup his first ice cream for free. The people who work their are a credit and the ice cream is divine!

My husband loves ice-cream so he was thrilled when he saw how much variety there is on offer at Game of Cones, he first tried the rhubarb and custard which he loved- and then the mint choc chip, which I think he wasn't particularly overwhelmed by. I had the pistachio which was delicious. Definitely worth trying!

If you can say anything about this man, he knows his dairy treats... We went to Game of Cones twice in a week, once for ice creams, and once for some fantastic milkshakes. I highly recommend the milkshakes in particular, they're really top notch and very thick and creamy!Also just the experience of the shop puts a smile on your face, whether or not you follow Game of Thrones.

Having spent a week in Cornwall trying lots of ice cream this was definitely one of my favourites. Absolutely huge and great flavours. Lots of toppings to choose from too. I would love to go back and try more flavours. 🍦🍦🍦

The best ice cream I’ve had in a long time! Went for rhubarb and custard, had loads of chunks of rhubarb and the portion was very generous. Friendly guy who served also. Unfortunately won’t be able to have one again until we next visit next year.

A fantastic range of flavours, and the ones we tried were very tasty. The staff were really friendly, and we were treated to witnessing the milkshake master at work! It was the best milkshake we have ever had!

Easily the best milkshake I have ever had, the Bravos Espressos has ruined all other milkshakes for me! All the ice cream is delicious, especially the blackcurrent and the banana, the best in the county! And if that wasn't enough, service with the best smile I've seen all week. Smashing lads!

Finally an ice cream shop that serves doubles properly, got 4 mini layers rather than two big balls of ice cream. Great character to the guy serving us and as an avid fan of GOT i loved the themed menu.

A really generous portion of delicious ice cream that really tasted like it had clotted cream in it (which it did) . Worth walking down the far end of town for.

Excellent tasty ice cream piled high on the cone. Lots of choice and a pleasant chap serving customers too. I have to say that I got more Ice Cream on the cone here for a lower cost than other places in Cornwall.

Visited 29th May whilst visiting with work. Fancied a milkshake as they boast 33 flavours. Was told I couldn't have the exact flavour I wanted and that I had to pick from the set menu on the wall.Went with the honeycomb option which tasted like milk with a slight honeycomb taste. Very disappointed as £5.50 for what basically was lots of milk and not much flavour is quite expensive.Real shame.

I was in Fowey for the weekend recently and had an ice cream from both Game of Cones and Sundaes and I have to say that I far preferred Game of Cones. I'm sure it was either the same price or cheaper and I got twice as much ice cream and the quality was far superior. It's definitely worth a walk down to the Bodinnick Ferry end of town to get one. Staff were really friendly too.

The ice cream was lovely,taisty and serviced by nice smily women that were also very helpfull. Recomanded.

Great ice creams with vast flavour selection but expensive. Gent behind the counter gave a great somewhat theatrical performance. When the lady was there she seemed a bit anti-customer. One afternoon looking up sharply as I entered the unlocked door with Open sign displayed immediately snapping "Turn the sign to closed I should be finished now, people seem to think I haven't got a life to get on with". Odd!

33 flavours? What about the nicotene flavouring? It should be 34! I was behind a customer with her two children this week. Politely, she pointed out to the woman, who was serving, that perhaps this woman should wash her hands after smoking! The response was scathing. This customer left with two very disappointed children and I followed suit with my grand-daughter. This place is usually lovely - why employ such a woman?

Spotted the shop on the walk into Fowey town centre from the car park and stopped in on the walk back to select which family we would be a member of. If that's sounds a bit funny its all to do with the various ice cream types being grouped into Game of Throne families. We all had different flavours and were very impressed with the flavour and quality the lady in the shop was also very friendly and humorous.

A lovely ice cream parlour and an interesting take on Game of Thrones! As I have never watched GOT it passed me by! However the ice cream was great.

My family and I simply love this ice cream parlour! The ice cream is wonderful (a zillion yummy flavours to choose from!). The coffee is second to none. The gentleman who has served us the last couple times we've visited, Simon, is very charming. The service with a smile is much appreciated! We will return again and again. Thank you.

On the outer edges of the town, near the Bodinnick Ferry, is a gem of a place. Delicious ice cream, lots of variety and not the usual flavours. My favourites so far ( I plan to visit again and work through the menu) are Blackcurrant with clotted cream and Gingerbread with clotted cream. Lovely friendly service. Highly recommend a visit. The short walk from the town will be rewarded.

Lovely shop and only 5 mins walk out of Fowey town centre. Superb selection of ice creams and toppings and nice chap who runs the shop. More than just a quirky name!!

An amazing array of Marshfield ice creams and sorbets. The gingerbread flavour was so good, and had a good amount of gingerbread running through it. Not the cheapest ice cream, but definitely worth the extra.
