The Caribbean Lamb Curry was absolutely fantastic. Scallops for starter were a little over-complicated however were beautiful and plentiful. Service was superb. Will definitely be back.

Unlike boating bob, I could not fault this amazing restaurant. I had an incredible meal and all the staff were lovely and very attentive. I unfortunately witnessed the behaviour of the previous reviewer and have to say I’m not at all surprised if the staff were ‘curt’. We witnessed the staff going above and beyond to accommodate their requests despite arriving very close to service closing. Their efforts were met with rudeness. It was difficult not to intervene on their behalf. We visit this restaurant every time we’re in Falmouth and it just gets better and better. I’m a vegetarian and it is by far the best veggie food I have ever tasted. We are always met with a warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Please don’t let the small minded views of others put you off trying this lovely family business. A very happy customer!!

We went in on Sunday for lunch and they had a roast special, I had the pork belly with a Caribbean twist and it was honestly the best roast I’ve ever had! I’ve had some lovely roasts before but the flavors in this topped them all and the pork was cooked to perfection. All the staff are lovely, highly recommend! 10/10

Very expensive for what you get, my wife had the spare ribs MAIN, it came with 2 medium ribs & 2 minute ribs the rest of the plate filled with chips. This meal cost £21, very over priced for what you get. We did explain our disappointment with the staff, but the waitress was very curt. Would definitely not recommend or go again.

Went for our evening meal, and overall, it's recommended. Food was delicious, staff were helpful, and both brought the drinks and dishes quickly when they were ready, along with clearing the empties promptly. It did seem slightly high price wise to me, but equally, as I say, was delicious. Give it a go, but I'd recommend booking particularly in the busier sumner months.

First time visit .. actually a really nice meal .. mains was fish curry special & jerk chicken .. puds was a nice lemon cheesecake

Excellent genuine Caribbean food cooked with love! The goat curry is to die for and the drinks have the right amount of rum in them. We’ve been coming most years since it opened and have always had a great meal.

Table of 5 for dinner on Thursday night. It was absolutely fantastic. The food was so wonderful, fresh, tasty, the portion size was perfect - I had three courses and was nicely full. My 3 year old daughter is a celiac, I called ahead to check it was ok to bring her own food in. They warmed it up and presented it on their own plate so she thought it had come from the kitchen, she was very excited when it arrived, they even washed up our tub for us! Very kind friendly staff which created a nice relaxed atmosphere. Thank you, we will definitely be back! 😊

Lovely Caribbean food, friendly service. I just passed and was greatly impressed. I tried the seafood soup and the snapper, really tasty. And the variety of drinks is also great.

An outstanding restaurant. We recently spent a week in Falmouth and were lucky enough to have a fantastic evening in Cribbs, having never tried Ackee and saltfish before we asked the chef if he would do us a small plate on the side with our main course as we had never tried it which he very kindly did, suffice to say it was delicious and we were surprised by just how tasty the dish is and has a lovely spice to it, my goat curry was amazingly tender and with a real depth of flavour along with its hit of spices and chilli, the pork belly was the best we have ever had an the crackling was perfection, the best meal we had in falmouth all week. If you don't visit this place you really are missing out, superb food with great service and you tell all involved put their hearts into what they produce. thanks for the great evening.

Our second visit to Cribbs and it certainly didn’t disappoint 😃 My husband had the Monkfish and I had Salmon and both dishes were simply delicious. Each meal was beautifully presented and the chef has an amazingly creative flair. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the cocktails were lovely 🥰 We look forward to our next visit to Falmouth and Cribbs.

Just visited Cribbs Cornwall, the food was great, and enjoyed the reggae tunes too. A little spicy for my taste but tons of flavour and interesting dishes. The jerked tofu was really tasty. Our 4th visit here as the food is so delicious with a very varied menu. The staff are friendly and efficient and there is always a great atmosphere. We higjly recommend the goat curry and the jerk chicken.

Stopped in for some Caribbean food while we were in Falmouth. Must say, the goat curry was some of the best we’ve had and the place was really nice. Kid friendly too which is good. We’ll definitely be going back. EDIT: We returned two days later and had more excellent food. Definitely on our list of places to eat when we return to Cornwall.

Had lunch here today and had the Jucy Lucy, unbelievably tasty as a chef myself I can say it was cook to perfection. Complimented with fires and salad. The fires was to die for perfectly seasoned, so more ish. Had "The crazy chef" cocktail alone side it, was amazing and heavy on the rum witch is fine by me. Highly recommended to anyone thinking of going but a very busy place and wait times are a bit longer than most people like, 100% worth the wait tho.

Another world class meal - three courses of sheer heaven. The doubles to start were incredible. I’ve been dreaming of the jerk chicken since last year on holiday, and it didn’t disappoint. Neither did my husband’s curry, and both my boys ate every mouthful of their fab meatballs & fried chicken from the kids menu - and then devoured a huge piece of jerk chicken between them too. The sticky rum and banana cake with coconut ice cream, cheesecake and ice creams were all sensational too. Out of this world!! We came to Cribbs with high expectations after a knock out meal last year in holiday, and I’ve got to say it was even better than we remembered it. And that’s saying something, because we’ve all been desperate to come back again. Thank you dear Cribbs. My favourite meal of my life, ever! Absolutely delicious food. The nicest meal I had in Falmouth during my five day visit. Plenty of tasty cocktails and a decent wine list too. Service was prompt and friendly.

Came here with my husband to celebrate my birthday. The food was utterly sublime, which is something I don't get to say often due to being vegetarian, however the colours, the flavours and the presentation was incredible, the choice for vegetarian/vegan meals was fabulous (not a large choice however you can see a lot of thought has gone into this menu to ensure there is something for every taste within this section) My only very minor niggle was the front of house staff (although every member was lovely and very happy to help) seemed a little disorganized, however it was busy (potentially unusually so for a Tuesday before summer holidays) and it felt they may of been short staffed. Even though I mention this it did not ruin my celebrations and a wonderful evening was had. Can highly recommend but book first to garrentee a table.

I initially thought this place was a bit over-priced, but when I tried the food I could tell where the money had been spent- my seafood main was such a memorable dish. Also really loved the homemade juice combination.

Really nice atmosphere on a quiet, rainy Sunday evening. The food was extremely good: decent portion sizes and nice presentation, as well as being very tasty. The lamb curry was particularly good, as was the plantain that came with it. There was also a nice selection of Caribbean beers. The service was spot on, even though we were there a little after closing time. I'd strongly recommend giving this a go

Interesting and varied menu. Went here twice during my stay and all food was good, and generous portions. A bit pricey, but don't object to paying for decent food. Good vegetarian options.

I had never had Caribbean food before visiting here so wasn’t too sure what to expect as I can be fussy with new foods- too my surprise, the food was absolutely amazing and I fell in love with it! The server we had was so helpful and informative about the drinks and the food (I wish I caught her name) and was so patient with my 101 questions. We both went for the jerk chicken which was delicious and I am still thinking about now, I’m gutted we don’t live in Falmouth as this place would be my new favourite! If we come back to Cornwall then we will be back here!

We were so excited to try this place but felt very let down by the chef who didn't serve vegan ice cream with a desert labelled on the menu as vegan. The FOH staff had been made aware of the allergy earlier in the meal but had clearly not made the chef aware of this. The food itself was nice enough but very expensive at £20 for a main; small portions...and not authentic Jamaican jerk. If you're a vegan or have allergies I would not recommend this place as it just isn't taken seriously.

What a great find! We stopped here for lunch on a sunnyish Thursday and were not disappointed... I had the coconut prawns (the dip is incredible!) and my partner had the jerk chicken with avocado. Both super tasty, spicy but not palette-blastingly so! Highly recommend...

We had two mains, lamb curry and jerk chicken. The lamb was good quality but over salted, salt was the main flavour. The jerk chicken was more of a bbq sauce than an authentic jerk seasoning, it was tasty but not jerk chicken. Both mains portions were controlled heavily and for the price was small. Our 4 year old who has a dairy intolerance had a veggie burger, the bun was burned on one side and then must have sat before we were served it as it was very dry and stale. We ordered him a vegan torte with vegan sorbet, they accidentally served it with dairy ice cream which I noticed when he was half way through it, by which time is too late. We had already made our server aware at the start of the meal, it obviously wasn't taken seriously. The server was very apologetic but overall wouldn't return, mostly because of the food costs, if your paying that much for food it has to be perfect, it wasn't, it wasn't a fair price for what we got.

Very disappointed.. Jerk chicken where?! Store bought processed chicken pieces dipped in sauce is NOT Jerk chicken! Unprofessional staff, unwelcoming atmosphere - it's a shame it seems hospitality is a dying trade and we left extremely dissatisfied with our experience.

No photos do justice to the food here. A wonderful melange of Caribbean spices with perfectly cooked ingredients. The staff are excellent, attentive without being intrusive. It was a joy to eat at this restaurant.

Visited today for the first time and was well worth the 30 min helicopter ride( just to piss oil protesters off). Had the jerk meal with dumpling, washed down with a lovely Guinness punch. Coming back next time for sure.

Meal with memorable flavours packing a punch. Has a kick to it as you would expect from a Caribbean place. Reasonable portion sizes, especially the seafood soup. Pros: - good starters options with reasonable prices allowing you to get a couple started and a main to share - flavourful food - good portion sizes - good music Cons: - too far away for me to go more regularly - not facing the water / too sunny. But you come here for the food, don’t discount as it’s definitely worth a try

Great food and good cocktails 🍸

Went recently with some friends for an evening meal. The food and cocktails were delicious. Between us we had: curry goat, spare ribs, jerk chicken and the duck. The curry goat was definitely the standout dish. The goat was falling apart tender and the flavours were amazing. If you don't like spicy food, I'd avoid the goat and the jerk chicken and maybe go for the ribs. They were also delicious and they were sweet. The cocktails were lovely too as was the cheesecake dessert. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would for sure recommend :)
