Gallini's in Swansea

I visited Gallinis with a family member before we went to a theatre performance. The food was excellent & the service likewise. It was also very reasonably priced & therefore good value for money. It also has a lovely view of the Marina.

Every meal we've eaten here has been good but today's home made crab ravioli and home made cannelloni were sublime. And the crème brulee was so delicious too

Few years since I last went to Gallinis so not sure if a change of ownership or not but they have changed the way they operate. Lunch was a set menu at £15.95 so quite reasonable and large Pinot Grigio (and was very large!) at £7.00 so cant fault the prices. For a starter I had the Bruschetta which came up in two ways, one slice of toast with toms/onions and the other with various beans. It was huge and a meal in itself! For main I had the Lasagne and again it was a huge serving in an individual dish. The Lasagne was both hearty and very tasty and you really could not fault the food, very rustic/home cooked type of food which came very much with the Italian tradition. Service was quick (maybe too quick with the main straight after the starter) if a little impersonal but nothing to complain about.. The place itself is welcoming and clean. Worth a try and does not break the bank!

Went there for mother's Day they put it up £10 more on the set menu normally £14.95 they charged £25 for same menu the food was very bland we have had a few meals there but will not be returning as we should have known from the last time we were there the food was awful

Went to Gallini's again on Saturday and ordered Involtino, a £2 extra to the lunch menu. From memory, this was chicken breast stuffed with bacon, parmesan and various herbs. I started to tuck in but couldn't find any stuffing so, thinking there'd been a mistake, called the waiter over. He had a good look then pointed to something tiny and dry, so small it would need scientific analysis to determine what it was. I said to him that that wasn't how it was described and he said, literally, "What do you expect, its the lunch menu?" Enough said!

Had a meal for two here on Valentine’s evening. A very reasonable and comprehensive menu, fabulous, excellent service and atmosphere. Yet another great experience in this underrated restaurant.

Ordered chicken with a pepper sauce and chips Overcooked chicken appeared to have been steamrolled flat Peppercorn sauce had no flavour No garnish, no greens on plate not even peas. Pasta was over salted Very poor won’t be going back

I have reviewed this restaurant on a number of occasions and have difficulty finding fault with the establishment Really friendly staff, excellent food and a comprehensive specials menu, plus a great value set menu. This time we had a chilli chicken dish and baked cod with lemon. Accompanied with herby pots, veg and chips. All excellent Also worthy of note is a great pint of San Miguel Recommended !’

Thank you for a wonderful afternoon. We were celebrating our birthdays. The food was amazing as was the service. I cannot fault the whole experience. Galinis will be our special place from now on.

Had duck was very tough, tastless, no vegetables with meal. Careful off main menu I saw they micro oven food . Only thing tasty was the prunes with duck. Very dissapionting been before, they seem to have lost the passion for everything. Wonderful location it's supposed to be Italian restaurant it's very poor . I never return.

Great harbour views and nice food. I had the brie starter and the tagliatelle main dish. Everything perfect and good value.

Absolutely outstanding. Heard about this place for years but always passed it, and I'm honestly ashamed I passed it as the service, food especially and the atmosphere was fantastic. 10/10 Would highly recommend the food was delicious . Decent enough but ultimately disappointing. Had deep fried brie for starter and then lasagne. Lasagne just served on its own, no salad, would rather they cut the size of it and add some salad for balance. One staff member was very nice, the other a bit aloof, 2 mistakes, he didn't seem bothered. Had much nicely lasagnes elsewhere and cheaper too. Found the place rather noisy so didn't like the atmosphere, despite the excellent views of the marina.

Pleasantly surprised by our visit, knew Gallinis used to be great but was unsure if the same standard now. Food was very tasty and not badly priced for four with wine. Great location on the marina and a short stroll for more bars and nightlife.

Came back after enjoying a delicious meal here previously. The spaghetti bolognese is particularly good. The staff could be a bit more friendly, but otherwise, really nice.

Such delicious food and attentive service - and the portions are generous. I can recommend the gnocchi starter (specials) - amazing! The tiramisu is to die for - so light and luscious. The setting by the marina is lovely.

Awful coffee and between that and others not ordering food I can only assume there's a good reason not to! When an Italian makes rubbish coffee there's not much hope for anything else.
