Really great chippy. The large fish was massive. Its a bit pricey but otherwise ok. Not much waiting time depending on the day/time.

Visitamos un viernes por la noche. Estaba bastante ocupado con una cola socialmente distanciada afuera para ordenar. El servicio fue bastante rápido teniendo en cuenta que estaban bastante ocupados y el personal era muy amable. Tuve una porción estándar de pescado y papas fritas de tamaño generoso que costaba 5. 35, que tiene una buena relación calidad-precio en comparación con otros chippies de la zona. Sin embargo, las patatas fritas eran pequeñas, duras y demasiado cocidas. El pescado parecía haber sido cocinado rápidamente a una temperatura demasiado alta, de modo que la masa era de color marrón oscuro y bastante grozzeled por qué el pescado en el interior estaba un poco mal cocido en mi opinión.

Gran pescado y patatas fritas a un precio razonable. El personal siempre es muy amable, especialmente el hombre asiático.

Magnífico servicio, excelentes precios y comida deliciosa. No creo que haya tenido un mejor servicio en cualquier tienda de chips

No ha sido para pescado y patatas fritas durante mucho tiempo, decidimos ir allí ya que está a la vuelta de la esquina, y recogimos 3 fish & chips y salsa de curry, personal muy amable. El pez no estaba nadando en aceite y sabía muy bien

La primera vez que hemos tenido el pescado y patatas fritas desde aquí. El personal era encantador y muy amable. Muy buenas porciones de tamaño y la comida era muy buena, especialmente las patatas fritas. Adecuada y no las patatas fritas patatas fritas gruesas sirven hoy en día muchos otros. Sin duda volveremos.

We were on holiday in York, and staying close by at a fishing lake, I read reviews on TripAdvisor, so thought we would sample some fish and chips, we waited over half a hour for them cooked to order, the fish and chips were perfectly cooked, but the pattie (Yorkshire fishcake) was inedible, the potato was far too thick to cook all the way through.

This chippy is truly back on form after a dip a year or two ago. If you gave up on it then, it's time to give it another chance. Excellent fish and chips, and very friendly service.

Friendly service takeaway. Fish tasted fresh and moist with reasonable crispy batter. Everything was freshly cooked while we waited. Portions were good size.

nice meal filled me, my partner and the kids, been going for yrs as I live around the corner, although it has changed hands the quality is still good

Only waited a few mins for order .portion size are very ample Fish is very fresh. Tasted amazing just melts in your mouth. Will be going back for more another day 👍👍👍👍

This chippy took a big dip in standards when it changed hands in 2014. However, it seems to have changed hands again, and has made a good return to form. The fish is fresh, batter good, and the fish is cooked well. We have had two recent visits, and the food was good on both occasions. Given the mediocrity of nearby chippies, this is most welcome.

We hadn't been for a while and I was very disappointed with the quality of the food - chips were hard as they must have been cooked for a while - fish OK. Staff friendly enough but I won't be returning.

Fresh cooked to perfection. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Still the best in the area despite many other chip shops around.

Sorry disappointed, chips were soggy and fish wasn't very fresh. Needs to improve to get me to go back
