Galaxy Chinese in Shropshire

Not good....in fact it was poor. BBQ ribs were not edible....smelt very strange. Everything was saturated in fat. Won't be going again

Not nice food, BBQ spare ribs were awful and ended up in the bin. Salt n pepper Chips were soggy and loads of raw onions. Beef in the curry was like chewing rubber, not a pleasant curry at all. Just wish we had read the reviews before ordering. Will deffinately not go there again, total waste of money.

No welcome or any hospitality, dated interior and menus, we reserved judgement and went to cashpoint as its cash only we had chicken chowmein and beef seszuan with chips curry sauce and prawn crackers. This is what we would order from any Chinese!! Well all I can say is disgusting and waste of money and the loo roll its cost us because we have both had upset stomach from the very little we ate. Food was bland, 5 pieces of beef and only ate 2 because it was tough, raw onion in both dishes and both bulked out with carrot!. This place in my opinion is best avoided

This Chinese is the worst I’ve ever had Burnt spare ribs with no meat & full of fat I’ve taken the rest out so you can see clearly see how bad the ribs are The chicken chow mein was dry & had a strange taste to it In my option they know they are selling poor quality food & the chief does not know how to cook a Chinese meal. I would not eat here again even if it was free.

Just had my delivery very disappointed today. Food has been nice over last couple times we have orders from here. However today chicken chow main tasted funny with more onions and carrots then noodles and chicken. Chips had funny taste plus orders prawn crackers and got chips in what taste like BBQ sauce. £30 worth food in the bin and we’ve been eating from here since we moved here in October. Very disappointed maybe it’s time to find somewhere new.

Not sure exactly when it changed hands, certainly this year. The food is piping hot, huge portions and very very tasty. I'm a bit fussy when it comes to chinese, but I have to say, after trying a variety of their dishes, (veg in black bean sauce, foo yung, curry, chow mein, chips, fried rice etc) I am super impressed. Food is spicy, well seasoned without being too salty, flavoursome and great value for money (a main course easily feeds 2 people with a side dish) And they now deliver!

I thought after previous owners left this place couldn't get any worse boy was I wrong we had a beef curry and chips and a spring role well they said it was beef but I can't think what part of a cow it came from the chips must have been left over from Saturday and the spring role was a greasy mess with noodles would rather walk to bewdley and back in the future

Had the meal for 2. Lots of food but none of it tasted good. The ribs were overcooked and dry. The chicken balls were like rock, tasted like they had been cooked and refried. Beef in black bean was unpleasant. Noodles tasted strange. Pork and beansprouts had a red sauce on top but a very watery sauce underneath. Supposed to be under new management with a new chef. Won't be returning.

Great food and always quick service. Eaten here many times and always been great. Delicious. Many thanks

There's a very good menu to choose from and we have never been disappointed, excellent service and food is always hot and tasty

Love love love the Chinese from here. The owners are so lovely! Food is always great. Would recommend this Chinese to everyone!

It appears to be have taken over very recently and the food is now awful the chow mien was tasteless and dry, the Cantonese (or whatever they called it instead) style chicken was in a bright red/orange sauce that was so strong it tasted like it should have been diluted or something like that before consumption! The meat used to be very tasty, but now you get this little sliced or cubed bits of meat. The prawns were minuscule! Real shame as it used to be my favourite Chinese. Will not be going there again, will have to look for an alternate with a longer drive.

Special Chow Mein was dry, had only a couple of prawns and very few small pieces of meat, worst I've tasted at any Chinese, and I've been to a few! Haven't been before, and won't be going again, threw it away, waste of money!

This place is take away only, Lovely food not had a problem with it, but they are a take away Chinese not a restaurant & they don't deliver which I find strange, every Chinese I've used over the years they deliver the food you order to your home, so I was disappoint with this, but saying that the food has been nice & I would recommend them

Food is very average, but handy if you live in Cleobury and don't fancy cooking. Will probably go back, but not expecting amazing food.

New owners, food is awful, no comparisons to previous owners at all. Food is tasteless. Chow mein was so greasy, mushroom fried rice was dry & bland. WILL NOT be eating there again, Don't waste your money, drive past

Had a meal from here last week, it was very busy (not a problem) but the lady in charge could not cope with the orders and the phone, needless to say our meal was sitting for about 10 mins and waiting for chips but there was none ready so we had to wait again. On arriving home the food was luke warm, chips under cooked and chicken had a bad taste to it, so all food went in the bin.

Was our favourite Chinese in the area. Visited 8th Oct and very disappointed. Food cold and chips undercooked. Chicken tasted odd. Hope this is just a blip. They were very busy but if they can't cope tell customer. Would rather wait than be served inferior product.

Food is good, service is great, can't fault it, Always have chicken Cantonese style and my partner has special curry and egg fried rice never had a problem

Very good chinese food also great fish and chips. Very good value for money and great service. Always busy which is a good sign of great food.

I'm afraid I can"t recommend this take away. Neither of us enjoyed the food we had. It tasted very plain and bland, added to which, they put MSG in everything. Not that cheap either. Sorry. You need to up your game.

If you stopped going like we did when the standards deteriorated badly then give it another go for fresh cooked tasty good portion takeaway.

Had many good takeaways from here but sadly we have had one or two bad ones only on the beef dishes though.
