Great takeaway on which has slightly improved the past couple of years finally now get a hello and thank you from the staff and food is now an improvement would visit again

They forgot my order, after ringing an hour after ordering, I was promised it would arrive shortly. It eventually came 2 hours after I made the order. The delivery driver was completely useless at understanding directions and made terrible excuses as to why the takeaway was late - complete idiot. Pathetic excuse of customer service! The food was poor to average. Won’t be ordering from there again.

My favorite Chinese in Shrewsbury. Fried chicken is perfect. Sometimes a little mix up around the order. Otherwise, no complaints at all.

Just ordered special curry in a tray with chips,tray was more or less filled with chips&curry sauce with only six small pieces of meat cost me £8.20 never again 🤬

I have been a regular customer for 22 years. However, they are always rude and today has made me decide to never go there again and write this review. First, they tried to say i hadn't given them enough money and i had to count it out myself in front of them to prove i had. Then they charged me £4.80 for a curry and chips when it used to cost £2.70. It says on the menu a curry sauce and chips is £4.00 now, but that's only of you get them in the same tray. I prefer to dip my chips on the sauce but for nearly a £1 extra i went for the tray. I assumed that it cost less because you get less but the portion looked exactly the same to me. For the first time ever the girl behind the counter (who usually treats me like a nuisance) said thank you as i left but the damage was already done. I have worked in the customer service industry for 17 years and know that if you treat customers well, your business will boom! This place has always looked run down and i know why, they refuse to treat their customers like human beings and charging 80p extra for the same thing means they have lost a loyal customer and any new customers that read the many many poor reviews others have left about this place. I'm so confused why the staff here work in a service industry, they all the seem to hate the people they are serving.

Delicious food..and affordable Recommended.

This tends to be our take alway of choice and it’s always very lovely food.

Unfortunately after calling up and requesting that the large spring roll was vegetarian & having confirmed it was my friend bit into her meal and it contained meat. The guy on the phone was extremely rude and replied “if you push, I’ll push back” They refused to refund the meal even though it was an absolute violation for our friend. Quite appalled at how they handled it.

I honestly have no words for how poor my first and only experience of this chinese take away is. Cheap ingredients poorly executed. The worst chinese i have wver had, bar none. I do not leave this review lightly, my only negative one to date and it disappoints me greatly. Do better guys, for your own sakes.

Excellent beef curry and fried rice and a chicken fried rice with a curry sauce , the best I've tasted for a long time

Wouldn't waste time or money ordering from here, used them twice, first time they were an hour late and items missing and again late, and answering the phone and hanging up, useless and rude

Great service. Tried this takeaway for the first time a few weeks ago as it was recommended to me. The food was outstanding, arrived in good time and piping hot. Great quality, tasty food. The delivery lady was very polite and friendly, couldn't ask for a better service!

Tastles expensive will not go back

Ordered food at 6.30pm and fair enough told it will be 1.45 hr delivery (Valentines) By 8.30 called them back and food was ‘just with the driver’ 9pm it arrives, totally past wanting to eat but offered the driver most of the money for it or take it back and so he took it away. Very poor service to a long term ‘good customer’ and if you’re on ‘Just Eat’ you either are or you aren’t!!

Not impressed . After stating no prawns and stating that it was in the notes when I picked up and assured there wasn’t any there was. Not happy!

Ya go to get a order and there delivery orders are more important than when ya go in to make a takeaway ya can be waiting ages and if ya buy spare ribs ya get more bone than meat.

Nice food, shame they don't take card payments.

Asked for vegetable spring rolls as my friend is vegetarian but was given beef and chicken instead. Phoned up to inquire only to be told it was my own fault and I should have spoken louder, as they presume you always want beef .

Local takeaway, never disappoints.

The owner couldn't be bothered to take a simple instruction to give to the delivery driver meaning food was late and cold. Waste of time explaining just to be ignored!

Slop , no care taken to prepare , greasy slop , to many chances

if I could give zero I would half of the order missing and when it did arrive it was completely tasteless won't bother again

I’ve been using this restaurant for years now and have never been disappointed with their food. It stands out from most of the other Chinese takeaways in the town. Their curry sauce is very good.

What a fantastic take away, good authentic Chinese food, my wife stated that it was the best Chinese takeaway she has had in years, she had the Chicken kong Po with pineapple with cashew fried rice, mine was wonderful l had the house special curry with Singapore fried rice, and it was the best that l have had in quite a while, on top of this there were some freebies prawn crackers and a bag of spring rolls. Highly recommend

Beautiful Chinese. My husband won't go anywhere else. Good quality meat, nicely cooked. And pre warn you if it's going to take a while.
